Specifically her work for me had been in conjunction with her representing my wife in a very messy and scary divorce from her previous husband, a sadistic narcissist who was stalking, harassing, and slandering her at every turn. He would threaten anyone who helped my wife with legal action, which included trying to get a protective order against me to keep me away from her and our two minor children. Another victory and an exemplary proof that nothing can beat Ms. Kinsey. My ex-wife who attempted to obtain a restraining order against me based on false allegations, has faced a humiliating defeat, where the court quashed her request citing that the allegations were not 'Credible'. This wouldn't have been possible without Ms. Kinsey's ability to effectively present the case and expose the lies.

My first law firm and a very fantastic one indeed. Before the court day, communication with the Paralegal, Alicia Orellana, was excellent in preparing for my court day. Alicia is professional and very responsive. Paul Mickelsen was my attorney for a reckless driving case. During court day, I was very nervous as this was my first reckless driving case, and while I was in the courtroom, Paul approached me a couple of times and told me not to worry and that he'll take care of me, which was very reassuring and calmed me down. Paul got my reckless case completely dismissed, and the result was much better than many cases I have seen in the courtroom, which did not have a lawyer. Words really can't describe the level of professionalism and expertise Attorney Wade possesses. I had a nightmare divorce/custody case that carried over from North Carolina for a total of four years. At the time I came in contact with Attorney Wade I was on my fourth lawyer and I spent almost 20k in legal fees. In time, I had become a "professional court testifier" and became very familiar with the legal process. I knew a good attorney when I saw one. I did my research and Attorney Wade had pedigree (which I heavily believe in) and I read several Washington Post articles that she was profiled in. I was impressed. When I had my first consult with Attorney Wade, I knew I struck gold. She was able to listen to my concerns, see the big picture, and she dissected 3 years of my litigation timeline in 45 mins. A tentative gameplan was formulated and the strengths and weaknesses of my case were discussed. We worked together as a team and when it was time to make strategic decisions, she always had a plan in mind and I often agreed with her and we proceeded accordingly. She never blew me off. She responded to my emails and telephone calls within a very reasonable time. Even when she was caring for a sick family member she still found the time to respond. After a long and unhappy marriage, my former spouse and I decided to hire Juliet to mediate our legal separation. We had initially hired our own legal representatives and that was proving to me a true nightmare and promised a protracted, painful and expensive pathway. We took a pause and decided to try a mediator and were so fortunate to find Juliet and her paralegal, Jentri. As one can imagine, splitting from a spouse of nearly 4 decades was a complex, conflict-riddled, contentious experience. Juliet somehow managed to maintain her incredibly professional, calm and neutral stance while we hammered out our settlement contract. Her billing was beyond fair and well accounted for. Her work, including the computations needed, was carefully prepared and meticulously documented. Given the behaviors she had to tolerate and the "tattling" she was subjected to, she remained supportive of both parties and respectful toward us. When it was over and we met to sign paperwork, she was very empathetic and left me with a box of tissues and time to compose myself. I know we were difficult to deal with and she must have had to use all of her skills to coach us to the conclusion. A year later, my former spouse asked for a divorce and wanted to use her to complete that last step. Where do I begin? Excellent representation. When you are a man going into family court to defend yourself against modifications to child support or ask for more custody, you can assume you are fighting an uphill battle. There are too many laws that do not take into consideration what good fathers do. Who wants to document every single detail of fatherhood to prove yourself? Well, I wanted the best representation I could find no matter what it costs or how far I had to travel. After doing my research, The Morris Firm was the clear winner. However, I still did not expect the quality of service that I received. I know lawyers cannot guarantee results, but this attorney is fast and fierce, and I am sure that the opposing counsel did not want to go to trial with this guy. First, when you retain an attorney, it is always best to hire someone that only does that area of law. Second, when you do the consultation and determine that the attorney has a personal passion for the area, hire them. You cannot buy passion and you cannot learn it in law school. Third, when you are dealing with your life you must sacrifice to get the best. His work ethic, thoroughness, professionalism, preparation, and trial strategy are all unmatched. Do not try to get a budget lawyer that practices everything. He or she will not do the research and has not kept up with the law and cases, and he or she does not have the specific experience of an attorney that practices one area of law. When I saw my first brief, it frightened me. I actually was thinking that we should ease up a little. He is very serious about giving the best offense and defense legally possible. And Elizabeth Morris is the best. She makes you feel like family and steps out front with skill and expertise. I will keep this short, but I really recommend The Morris Firm for any family court cases that he covers. I’d say he’s the best at this. And men need expert counsel in today’s legal system. Jon did excellent work on my case! Due to a change of personal circumstances, I needed to modify child support. My ex spouse insisted that any attempts to modify child support would lead to an increase in payments, which sounded outrageous to me as they were already higher than I could reasonably afford. Unfortunately my Mother passed away without having a Will or any of her Estate affairs in order. Prior to my mothers passing I had never handled an Estate before. I had a difficult case. A true not me case. Because there was no arrest or fingerprints it was very hard to prove it wasn't me. I discovered I had a warrant for my arrest when I applied for an apartment and they did a background check. I talked to him after researching for a couple weeks. He gave me more information in a 20 minute conversation than I could find in 2 weeks of research, before I even hired him. He did way more than originally thought necessary. His diligence, wisdom, knowledge, years of experience & research that left no stone unturned, eventually cleared my name. He also insisted the warrant be lifted while clearing up this huge mess. I could go through the process feeling safe w/o fear of going to jail. He actually did way more than what I originally hired him for. He didn't charge me more even with me asking about it. Divorce case with abuse and child endangerment concerns. I hired one attorney just before Covid, she quit. I had to them hire another, and chose one based on general local recommendations - but she allowed my abusive ex’s attorney to drag the case in for 2 years, and HUGE bills. She would forget conversations, and forget to file things. I couldn’t officially switch attorneys again mid-case, so I paid for a very affordable consult with Ruth twice. I got more information and help from her in those brief consults than I did in 2 years with my regular attorney.

After an unfortunate situation while a period in the EEUU I needed to find an attorney who could take care of a messy situation. A DUI resulted in probation and I needed to complete some DUI education, counseling and community service during the probation year. As a result of the DUI arrest, my VISA was revoked and I had to leave the country for good. Luckily I had enough time to complete the DUI education and counseling before leaving and the judge authorized me to do community service time in my country. When the court day arrived, after a year, I was not able to enter the country, as my VISA was revoked, and I failed to appear in front of the judge. A warrant was issued and complicated even more the situation. My original attorney kept telling me that he could do nothing about this situation and that I needed to be in the country to resolve it, what it was obviously not a possibility.
That is when I contacted David Guy Stevens, from minute 0 he made me feel confident in the process. First at all he informed me that he could represent me in front of the judge without me being present in the country. He took the time to understand the case, he explained to me all possible outcomes and, most importantly, he treated me with sensibility and patience. (Exactly what I needed in such a vulnerable situation).
