I absolutely recommend Butler, Giraudo, and Meister if you want a problem-solving attorney and a compassionate, dedicated support staff (thanks for all your help Kelly!). Tami Meister represented me in a contentious divorce and child custody case that lasted over a year and a half. Attorney Meister was thoughtful, empathetic, and went above and beyond to make herself available for any questions or concerns I had. After a failed attempt with my first attorney, Attorney Daniel Andoni was knowledgeable, courteous and aggressive to my needs for my court case. Mr. Gonzalez has been there for me fighting my paternal rights as a dad. Mr. Gonzalez has help me get 40 % with my child. He has done alot with this case even it took a while, but I was hanging in and Melissa always kept my family up to date on how the case was coming. If it wasn't for my family finding Mr. Gonzalez I probably wouldn't have any custodial rights on my child. I would recommend Mr. Jose Gonzalez as a good and knowledge lawyer. This was not my first rodeo, so to speak. I was referred to Mr. Gaffney by a friend when I was much younger. He handled my divorce and helped me find my way through an incredibly hard time. When I got married 11 years ago, I never thought I would find myself single again. Even during many contentious moments throughout the marriage, I pressed forward and persevered. After researching online, I met with Pat back in July to discuss my case and options. She was compassionate, kind and very knowledgeable from the get-go, and I retained her to file a custody suit on July 29. Throughout the process of declarations, filing, serving, responding, mediating, etc., she was in constant communication and answered all of my emails within the hour -- if not just a couple minutes. By Sept. 13, we reached a wonderful custody agreement with my very combative co-parent and avoided a tenuous court process.
Pat always kept the best interest of my daughter as priority number one and advised me as such. And though I (thankfully) didn't have to see the inside of a court room to reach the custody agreement I desired, I've heard that Pat has a reputation for fighting for her clients aggressively and professionally in court. I would highly recommend her services.

This was my second experience with a family law attorney for my custody case. I was represented my Ophelia Bernal-Mora. Unlike the first time I had an attorney, I walked away from the case feeling like I was represented by someone who clearly was representing my interests, knew what she was doing, and moreover, cared! She is extremely knowledgeable (heck she is board certified and worth every penny!) and when there is another modification or contempt issue filed in my case, she will be the attorney I go to without hesitation. She is very up to date on case law and the laws and I think knew more than the judge we had did. She does not overbill or nickel and dime on her billing like I experienced with my first attorney. It can get expensive, but I think you get what you pay for and for a board certified family law attorney which there are not many from what I could find, her prices are pretty reasonable. Her firm also no charged many many items throughout my case to my surprise and satisfaction. She is clearly not in it just for the money and wants to help people. I cannot thank her enough! Save yourself the trouble and don't let your ex hire her first! You will not be disappointed! She is very professional and does not get bullied by other attorneys.

I am very satisfied with the legal help provided by Mr. Puckett. I hired him to help with my divorce when things had started to become messy. He is very knowledgeable and experienced, has a very good sense of how situations are going to play out, and also keeps the human side of things in mind.
I came to the initial consultation terrified. I was being falsely accused of abuse, neglect, and domestic violence. I had no idea how any of this worked. Kendra Thomas was/is awesome! Divorce is messy child custody is messier. Kendra is a pro. You don't always get what you want, but the court system is setup to make sure of that. You get what you need and Kendra is a professional advocate for the children caught in the middle. My kids were so lucky to have her advocating for them, so they end up with time with both parents. In August 2022, the judge hearing the custody/visitation case regarding my minor son (10 w/ ADHD) appointed Ms. Thomas for his representation. Ms. Thoman was great! She interviewed my ex-husband and me. She spoke to my son privately to collect the information she needed to determine how she would present her(his really) case. She was truly for my sons his best interest, so much so that at the final hearing my ex-husband and I felt good creating a parenting plan together without the judge all while considering what Ms. Thomas expressed to us. We were able to talk amicably, but most importantly co-parent in a way that we had not been able to do in years. We both found a plan that works for us both, but especially for our son who is much more happier. Also, Ms. Murray, her assistant was on it. Her response time showed my ex-husband and I that they were invested in the case.

I’m a physician with a high level government security clearance. My spouse filed for divorce and initiated a DVI as a means of gaining an advantage in the divorce proceedings. This removed me from the marital home, removed access to my son, and jeopardized my career, security clearance, and reputation. After two months of having a lawyer who was inactive, I hired Nicole and her team. They quickly reestablished my access to the home and won my DVI case easily. Nicole and her paralegal team have been a huge support to me over the two-year period from the time my ex and I decided to file to mailing my final alimony check. Filing for divorce while being stationed overseas (military service) is never easy, but Nicole and her team made it about as easy as one could possibly make it. Despite never meeting her or her team face to face due to my physical distance, I always felt like I had a team in my corner. Either Nicole or her team was quick to respond (usually within the day, or close to one day was the average), and they were able to work with me to set up times to have phone conversations. On the day of my deposition/mediation, Nicole was on time, ready to have me dial-in. She made great recommendations on when to stand firm and when I need to make some concessions.
