Mr. Forbes is an awesome attorney who actually listens to his clients and their families. So, if you are worried about what will go down on your case in court, Kelsey will far exceed your expectations of what a great attorney can do for you. If you're up against a wolf in sheeps clothing and you know they'll definitely play dirty in court, Kelsey will turn out to be your dream come true in the midst of a living nightmare and will do the final mic drop for you.
Kelsey took charge and kept my exs expensive attorney from burning our son and I out of receiving justice. She spotted the lies & manipulation and pointed them out immediately to the judge in a way he finally understood.
Kelsey knows the law like the back of her hand and I was so tickled watching and listening to her put my ex and his attorney in their place FINALLY. One time she even respectfully corrected the judge because she KNOWS the law and is fearless, like any attorney fighting for your childs life SHOULD be!
I honestly feel that my judge sided with the dad somewhat in this case and because I didnt have evidence of physical abuse in court prior to the evidence of verbal, financial and other types of proof of abuse was disregarded and the judge treated our case like I had simply changed my mind about my husband one day and chose to leave instead of what ACTUALLY happened. So I felt like the judge was looking for a way to grant my ex equal parenting time but Kelsey didnt put up with any of it. I was honestly tickled by the way she addressed my ex and his attorneys accusations against me. She told the judge that he was just hurling accusations at the proverbial wall hoping they'd stick lol
I got such a kick out of watching her at work and the other attorney was and is considered top 5 in Spokane. So, I was blessed to have Kelsey advocate for me.
At one point, I told her that she was good at her job and she humbly grinned and said that law runs in her family and that her dad was an attorney and she LOVES being one and THAT is key when you are searching for an attorney. Attorneys like Kelsey one in a million and she is always thinking about your case just as much as you, if not more. You will LOVE having Kelsey on your side. I really do believe she has a gift. I was referred to Steve by the victims of crime program when I filed for a protection order. Steve is very professional and genuinely kind. He has been with me through every phase of this emotional and confusing court process. He has been a strong advocate for me and has worked selflessly to see my case through to the end.
There are a lot of crooked attorneys out there, but Steve is not one of them. My case should have been pretty cut and dry, but even when the opposition tried to make it seem a little more gray, Steve handled this case with poise and sensitivity to the subject. I could not have asked for a better attorney to represent me.
With Steve in my corner, the protection order was granted and I feel a lot safer because of his guidance. He's made my scary situation a lot less frightening.

I decided to hire Stephen Szuch because I believed he would actually go up to bat for me and help me fight for my rights as a father. In todays society with all the negligent so called men who run around and knock up females then aren't interested in even acknowledging let alone being held responsible for their actions, most parenting rights are just given to the birthing mother. It becomes an uphill battle for a man who actually wants to raise his son if the mother of his son would rather not be a family. This is why I hired Stephen.
Being a father is one of the most important things a man can do with his life and just because my sons mother didn't want to be a family with me, I refused to just let her run the show and try to tell me how my son would be raised. I took a proactive approach and took her to court.
Doing so is proving to be well worth it because I no longer have to fall in line with my sons mothers' actions. I have my rights established through the court of law. Unfortunately this step needs to be taken because many women out here who have evil mentalities want to kick the man to the curb and get the government to raise their children through "FREE MONEY" as I call it. The system is being perverted by those who have a "dog eat dog" mind frame.
After hiring Stephen he was always on point in getting back to me and advising me throughout the case. He was very diligent with his work and wasn't afraid to put the necessary leg work in to getting a proper end result. He wrote up numerous drafts in a timely manner and was excellent at networking with me and others throughout. I have joint custody and school residency. He understood how important it was for me to have these things because I want to give my son the best shot at being prosperous in this world by building bridges rather than burning them and "Getting Over" and to teach him to treat people in a respectful and proper manner. I strongly recommend him for anyone who would like to obtain proper parenting rights.

Harvey was a life saver! I found him using Avvo and consulted with him regarding moving a child support case from MD to OH. He was responsive, and provided great advice! When an emergency happened with my kids, he called me back right away, listened to what I had to say and provided a list of attorney's that could help immediately, since he was busy for the emergency hearing. I would hire him in an instant if the situation were changed just a little bit! James defended me for a felony charge and was able to get it reduced to a disorderly conduct plea deal. He was patient, knowledgeable, and communicative throughout the 6 month process and very responsive to both phone calls and texts. James has decades of experience with the Queens court system and it definitely shows. He thoroughly explain the court process every step of the way and let me know all my options throughout the ordeal.

I have been a client of Ms Gold's since April of 2014. She has,in my mind, been very helpful and knowlegable explaining the law as regards to divorce. She has advised me and helped through this trying time. She has gone out of her way to be accomodating with my night shift schedule. Ms. Gold did a tremendous job in my first hearing for post sepperation, alimony, and lawyer fees, which I won. My divorce is still pending, but soon to be over. I was airlifted to UVA after an accident in which I have no memory of even entering the vehicle. I spent 3 weeks in the ICU & 2 days in a regular room. I only have some memory of the last two days.
The "trooper" at the scene of my accident did everything he could to find some crime with which to charge me, even after I had a boot clot in my lung almost causing my death in the ICU, & they suggested to me that this is what had happened to cause my accident.
Why would he do this, you may ask? Because, even though I am a gunsmith, Glock Armorer, & have taken many NRA & other Advanced Hangun Courses & instruct friends & family privately, I was carrying more than one gun! Though the second gun was unloaded & in my pocket & in the LEAST powerful pistol cartridge in the world, even though I had a permit and have held one for YEARS & harmed NO ONE, though my wounded Grandfather killed the Nazi that bayoneted him & I carried this ancient relic as a reminder & "good luck" charm, even though it is so old, unreliable, & underpowered as to be USELESS for self-defense, this man who calls himself a VA State Trooper was determined to "get me" with the ONLY thing he could come up with from which I could not defend myself -wreckless driving! You see, I have NO memory of the event whatsoever, have driven that stretch of road hundreds if not thousands of times safely, & I could think of nothing whatsoever to defend myself. I was guilty until proven innocent!
Having used Victor in the adoption of my daughter years before, having had him successfully handle a divorce case for a LE close friend of mine, I retained him again to represent me in this matter.
I went to court, Mr. Santos conferred with opposing council & the "state trooper," & then patted my shoulder & suggested we speak outside. Upon leaving the courtroom, he informed me that the case would not be heard for some time; but I did not need to stay, as it was going to be dismissed!
Soon after, I received a letter from Victor stating that the case had been dismissed; but it also warned that a stenographer had been present for some party that claimed I was responsible for their far less injury.
They did sue & the insurance company settled with them. It is much easier to find someone guilty by a preponderance of the evidence in a civil case than it is to find them guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a criminal case. My insurance company's attorney represented me in the civil case, & lied straight to my face about what was & was not going to be said. That said, Mr. Santos did an excellent job throughout what I retained him to do, as he does for everyone; I would hire him again in a second & will always recommend him to any innocent person I meet who is in need of the very BEST attorney!
The "state trooper" even SUGGESTED TO MY WIFE, as I was being loaded into a helicopter & on death's door, that I was running from something, tying to commit suicide, etc! He said this to my grief-stricken wife as I was leaving one hospital for another, thinking I would surely die! I had a broken neck, a broken back, broken. ribs, was crushed on my left side with a rib THROUGH my left lung, my right lung was collapsed, & I had a brain bleed. The "trooper" had thought me dead at the scene & even talked about calling his superior to report me so, as I was unresponsive! With probably more qualifications than HE had, veterans & former LE throughout my family & a circle of friends who are either milititary, ex-military, LE, former LE, or some combinations thereof, this man who calls himself a "Virgina State Trooper" set out to crucify me!
Remember, "Troopers are for your protection!" Well, not this one! He delivered my "ticket" to me, as I was barely able to stand, still in my bathrobe, & told me the same as he told my wife: "There was NO evidence you were exceeding the speed limit!" He then wrote the exact opposite in his report & LIED in his testimony at the deposition!

One of the two best intellectual property attorneys I've been associated with in my 50 years of business experience. Michelle pleaded our case concerning a trademark that was deemed by the trademark officer to be too similar in definition as to be an infringement. She convinced the reviewing officer that we would not be infringing and consequently we received our registered mark for the product.
In another instance she negotiated a co-existance agreement that could have cost us the trademark of our flagship product and, even convinced the other party to pay most of our legal expense.

They say the best defense is a great offense. With Mr. Sokolowski, my husband and our family found just that. Within two, maybe three weeks of telecommunications between me and Mr. Sokolowski, my husband's bail, which was right at $100,000, was reduced 82%. My husband and I are still amazed!
The offense did not just start with negotiations on the bail, rather with his introduction to our family and my husband's cases. My husband is in Centerville, TX (Leon County) and our home is North of Dallas, about 200 miles away. I introduced myself via a voicemail. I was pleasantly surprised he returned my call and didn't flinch at communicating via e-mail and phone.
Mr. Sokolowski listened to my concerns, readily accepted letters my husband and I already submitted to the court, and ran with that groundwork to continue bail reduction negotiations. In fact, he contacted me with an amount and I was sure was it, the DA had already dropped it by 60% or so. The next day and e-mail from Stanley notified me of an even a better offer. I still can't get over his negotiation results!
We have also thrown him some curve balls by asking him to speak with other attorneys from other counties. He has consistently been pleasant, cooperative, very strategic and ultimately fighting for my husband's best interest, even when he's discussing cases elsewhere. He has always focused on the ending outcome in Leon County.
He is very competent, seems to have good relations with the DAs, but most of all he offer(s) my family and I Hope. We need the hope and talking with Stanley is just a blessing which eases my mind. I have been speaking with several lawyers and feel I have received more results and service Pre-indictment with Stanley than with anyone else. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Stanley Sokolowski to my friends and family.
