My experience with Allen Vellone Wolf Helfrich & Factor has been beyond great. They dug into the issues of my case and discovered things in my favor that go far beyond what other defendants in the same case appear to have missed or not seriously considered. My opinions of Jim Helfrich and Kate Sender go beyond my ability to express. The best I can say is that I trust them to do their absolute best, which I believe they have done. No bullshit.
They haven’t always told me what I want to hear, but they have always considered my opinion and that has been reflected in the things they have produced on my behalf. My case is not over, but they believe in me and have taken my side with the best they have to offer. Their rates are fair, and I have never had the feeling they were fabricating hours as so many law firms do, especially the law firm that is attacking me. I suspect I will have more to add to this review in the future.

Anthony is THE BEST. I had a case where there was a lot of controversy and drama, and I was scared I would lose my job over it. Anthony helped me out, eased my anxiety and got my case dismissed the very next day after speaking with him. Emily represented on a couple occasions, one being a divorce and another being relocation. I truthfully don’t know what I would have done without her guidance and representation. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field and helped me get the outcome I wanted. She made things so much easier for me, especially being so young and lost. Wasted my time. Took my retainer and never really did anything. They gave up on my case about a poa and never really gave me options. Rice was hard to contact and never seemed to care. Stay away from this place. They did return half of my retainer but never wanted to meet with me or look over the case with me. Terrible experience

Called multiple times to get assistance with a case. No reply back. Their automated message kept insisting I use their online consultation form so I filled that out and got an email that basically stated my case doesn't fit their criteria even though they advertise in practicing in the exact type of law that I need. Sucks to hear since they were referred to me. I still haven’t talked to a human at their office so they can hear my story.

she was handling my divorce case. After the first hearing the court gave 3 months for the next court day. She emphatically advised me not to contact the other party, She was going to try a settlement and possibly sign an agreement before the court day. I wait for more two months without hear anything from her. finally I had to call the law firm to hear something about the case and they sent me an e-mail telling me that she was about to leave the law firm, they assigned me another lawyer and I had to brief him about the case one week before the court day because he did not know anything about my case. SHE NEVER CONTACTED THE OTHER PARTY, NOT A CALL. VERY IRRESPONSABLE!

John Ward and his team have been nothing less then spectacular. My case has been a load and a half, DV, divorce, custody battle and many appeals. John has never backed down, he has stood strong and always fought for my son and I's best intrest and keeping us safe all the while. BEWARE! John Ward is a scum bag. He makes glitter look like gold during a consultation and after he receives payments does absolutely nothing. Mr Ward is a thief. He makes up false billing fees stating he is doing work for your case when he does nothing. Even though I lost thousands of dollars, firing Mr Ward was the best decision I could have made. Please don’t waste your time and money on this man. After all the complaints with the State Bar of Wisconsin I am surprised he is still able to he’s not disbarred!

Thank you both to Attorney Conor Stewartson and Paralegal Diane Barrera at Colorado Legal Defense Group for representing our daughter in her criminal defense case.
My husband and I spoke to several Attorney firms to help us and after speaking with Diane and the Intake Attorney Cole Presnell, we decided to go with their firm. I can honestly say that Diane was key in helping us make the decision to use their firm. She was very understanding and genuinely cared, being a mother herself. She was available early on and even followed up to make sure we landed safely in CO that same evening to be there for our daughter.
Conor was assigned to our case and I was advised although he was new with the firm he had an extensive background as a Criminal defense Attorney. Initially, I was concerned w/him being new to the firm but after speaking with him, doing a background check and reading up on him, he put those concerns to rest.
There were times it was difficult to get a hold of Conor but my understanding was his contact phone was still being setup at the time, since he was new w/the firm. But he did return my call when I really needed him over the weekend on a late evening. Also, Diane was always available even on weekends (not normal or expected) and kept the communication going if Conor was not available due to being in court or working w/another client.
Ultimately, the outcome of our case was in our daughter's favor and it was completely dismissed all due to the hard work of both Conor and Diane. Their skill set and ability to do what they do, fighting on our daughter's behalf produced the best outcome possible and we are so thankful to them both!
The billing process early on was easy and in speaking w/Diane that was not even a concern at the time with what was going on. Which truly shows the caliber of the firm and their people as a whole of who they are and what they are about.
We are thankful to both Conor and Diane and are truly blessed to have been represented by them, but as I mentioned to Diane, we pray we never need their services again! But would definitely recommend them and the firm if we ever needed legal help.

Good luck to all the positive reviews. She was hired by my family to do a post conviction appeal. The motion was a boilerplate with history of law rather than any issues being raised. A complete waste of my one shot to freedom. She basically took the money and copied the motion from text books. Terrible lawyer, would definitely NOT recommend.

If you are looking for an attorney as I was, you do NOT need to look any further. After an exhausting search I found Attorney Marcia Shein and thank God I did. Once I met her and hired her a weight was lifted off of me and good things started happening fast. Not only is she brilliant, creative and charismatic. She cares about her clients in a deep way that makes you feel like it's your sister or family member representing you. I called Joe Truland for a free consultation asking him multiple questions about a traffic offense. His behavior and response was very rude. He responded “I can’t make a dime out of this” and hanged the phone up on me. I definitely would not recommend this lawyer because he is only in it for the money and when I asked if he can fight for me to get 0 points he wanted me to settle for 4 points which was the same deal the prosecutor would have offer me. Therefore his representation as a lawyer defeats the purpose of him trying to fight for 0 points was pointless.

I hired joe, and told him I got a speeding ticket, going over twice the speed limit and had informed him I have two points already, plus a dui. I hadn't mentioned my other past troubles with my driving record, (i.e. abandonment, leaving my car at the scene of a crash site, etc) and when we met at the courthouse, he had a nice demeanor and to me seemed keen on helping me (Rather than just being there for a quick buck). After speaking with the prosecutor and joe not knowing of my other troubles, which I had thought were irrelevant, were relevant, the prosecutor was using this to get me to lose my license, joe had talked them down to a two point ticket and some community service. Just to clarify for anyone that doesn't know my driving history, it's terrible for a 24 year old, dui, speeding tickets, etc; Joe was a godsend and he really helped me out, when the judge could have easily taken my license away. He is cheap and I recommend him. Thank you joe, and I hope this helps bring in a few more customers or clients? Not sure what the term is. Anyone reading this review should hire him to represent you.

this guy was gift from God I honestly can say that the way he work in trial was amazing, his cross was on another level he do his job not because he getting pay for watching him fighting the case make you feel like it was him and not you on trial l you know as I always believe you can go to school and try to learn but honestly for u to be good and best at thing you do it has to be in you for example math you can't learn math is either you know numbers or you don't this guy fight as his life was dependent on it he watch every little detail he pay attention every single words been used or said I can give my guaranteed you can't loss with him been on your side and most important thing is he listen to you and do his own investigation on if you telling the truth or liying he was the person after listing to my case look dead in to my eyes and told me I believe you as I said in the beginning his gift from God because he truly is he saw what other ignore it or chose not to look at it it's crazy my whole life I wouldn't never thought that one day I be in this situation just based on greed but as I say God hasn't created a single soul who can knock you down when his holding on to you greed made people to destroy me but God send help to protect me I'm grateful that I chosen him to tell my side of the story. When I was in early twenties I got convicted of a crime and Dauphin county that did not commit. Long story short to spend at the time was a public defender and after a two year battle I got found not guilty with an over assuming amount of evidence that Damian put together. When I saw this I thought , young, smart , and delligent, and I'm so thankful for his professional advice and having him as my council

Yeah, not sure what to make of dude. He said he'd take my case; I was to send him my evidence and he would send me prices. I thought it was weird so I only sent him half the evidence at first... just incase cause.. er something was fishy.. then.. bloop never heard from him again. After waiting two weeks..and several texts later I called the bar. They gave me someone else. Like, you guys know we can leave reviews right? Derp.. would not recommend. I guess maybe I was boring.. sorry I'm not an exciting criminal... must have other "cool" things going on.. the bar gave me someone else and I actually won.. hmm imagine that. My faith is partially restored. So, he can have 2 stars.

So I called to setup an appointment to see ED and scheduled a time, as to note I had to take a day off and I also had to plan to go all the way to Ft Worth from Frisco. The secretary is very unprofessional, answers the phone like its a personal phone, even when I scheduled she rushed the whole process. long story short I get to the Law office on time and no one is there, after 30 mins of waiting the secretary rushes into the office, without acknowledgment. After an additional 5 mins passes she comes out, and with a dismal excuse, she says that Ed will not be available and that he is at trial, my question is , why not call and inform me, she stated she had no time, but instead she had time to go get lunch smh. Anyways glad I didn't spend a dollar on this lawyer. Note, your front end( Receptionist/secretary) is important, they can make you money or make you lose it.

I used Shannon and had a felony. She brought me down to a misdemeanor. Denton County was not working with me and on my side. Shannon used skills to let me be a free citizen and able to vote. She does not charge a lot at all. I forgot what I had paid. It was totally worth it. She works with you and you can make payments. You can still make payments after the court case if you did not come playing. Jewish woman are the most respected. Pick Shannon. She will make your case disappear or fight to get your voice heard. It took some years, but she did it. I am forever in your debt Shannon. Nothing, but love to you.
If anyone says anything bad about Shannon. You all have something against woman. Shannon stays busy and will return your calls when she finish court. Not too sure if Sandy a Edwards she still is her assistant. Sandy is very knowledgeable and delay messages. Power to women lawyers. You are doing great Sandy. Most of my court case I didn't even go. I was looking at this site and saw the negative review from the guy whose case was dismissed and I am surprised that he was complaining about a dismissal. I had Mr. McBride deal with a Felony Assault with a Weapon arrest back in 2010 and I was happy with both the result (no conviction on my record) and the service (he immediately presented my issues to a supervising District Attorney). I would use this office again without hesitation as the fee was a fraction of what other lawyers charged for this. Maybe things changed or maybe the other client really had different expectations than I did but, I don't see how you can complain about a dismissal?

I was arrested on a restraining order violation.
Hired Mr. McBride as my attorney.
This was a very, very easy case for ANY attorney to have dismissed.
My opponent had removed a critical part of the Judges order in the restraining order which prohibited me from being arrested.
When the Sheriffs did not see that order, I was arrested.
Mr. McBride spoke to the District Attorney assigned to my case and immediately showed the DA the discrepancy in the two restraining orders: One said I could not be arrested (mine and the original courts), the other did not have that page (my opponents he gave to the Sheriff for evidence).
The DA immediately asked Mr. McBride, "How do I know your client did not write that himself and stick it in there?" (fair question).
Mr. McBride said, "You don't. I don't. Get the original court order and get back to me."
When the DA obtained the original court order and saw the original and mine were identical and my opponents copy had that critical page missing, the DA knew immediately that page was removed and, knowing there was no way the DA would win this case, dismissed the case before trial.
Easy case to have dismissed before trial.
Why so few stars when he won my case?
Having Mr. McBride return phone calls was a case in futility.
This attorney just NEVER corresponds with his clients.
In my case, the first meeting with Mr. McBride and the DA was in November.
The case was continued until Dec 18th for the DA to receive the original court order.
After December 18, I did call Mr. McBride a couple times, hoping to get an update before the Christmas break. No such luck.
I phoned Mr. McBride at least 10 times in January. Never a return call.
I phoned Mr. McBride at least 5 times in February until he finally answered his phone.
I asked him for an update on my case.
He said the case was dismissed back in December. I asked why he didn't call me or send me an email or a text to let me know that it was dismissed.
Mr. McBride said, "The court should have done that."
No Sir. You're MY attorney. I hired YOU. YOU do that. Not the courts.
That's what you get from Mr. McBride.
Good luck receiving updates or a courtesy return phone call.
I'm sure when Mr. McBride improves on this much needed aspect of his practice, his ratings will dramatically improve as well.

I hired him for a family member, who went to jail because of his incomepetence.
Mr. Lewis:
1. Always have different excuses for cannot present for the court: Visiting people in the jail, Hanover county circuit court, Henrico county circuit court, needs to lock the office, etc...
2. Always lethargic: Not sure was caused by sleep apnea or sth, every time he shows up in court, he will find time to take a nap, this was not professional at all.
3. Never prepare for the case: He will forget everything you told him literally the next day, and he will always bring an empty folder to your court date, pretending take few notes on his "Yellow letter sheets", each time he will bring new blank paper, never combined the notes.
4.Deceptive to his clients, him and his paralegal Raman Kneep tried their best to cover the story that Matt Pinsker was incarcerated for felony sexually assaulted female intern, this was a direct violation of Bar Association code and ethics.
5. Never admitted that he doesn't know anything: He will do his best to pretend everything is under control, and he will back asking you what had happened to cover his nonsense.
6. Procrastination: A single request to him will always takes couple weeks to reply.
7. Not physically fit as a lawyer: Always be stuttered and precarious for how to answer the questions, almost every directions he gave to the clients were detrimental to their fates, he will keep f**k you up until your life is screwed up by the court.

I’m writing this review to help others save money and not waste their time and jeopardize their court cases. Hiring Pinsker Law was the
worst decision I ever made. I’d give negative stars if I could. Initially Matt was eager to take my case so I hired him, as he had great reviews. However, soon after I had paid and hired him another lawyer who is well known called me back and warned me that something
wasn’t right. As soon as I googled him some charges came up. Matt reassured me that his case was dismissed and everything was fine. So,
I begin working with him. Although, he was representing me I wasn’t exactly happy with his service. He just didn’t seem that interested in
my case nor did he have the zeal or interests that he had when I first hired him. When it was time to go to court, Matt was a no show. I
later found out by his back up lawyer that he had been sent to jail. Again, matt had told me that his case against him was dismissed and he
was ok. So that was warning sign number 1. I should’ve requested a refund and hired a new attorney at this point. However, mr. Charles
lewis said he’d take over my case in Matt’s place. This was the worst mistake I’ve ever made in my life. Even with all of his credentials
and years of experience, Mr. Lewis seemed like newbie and fish out of water when it came to my case. Twice he was unprepared for my case and
each time asked for an extension. After the first time I should’ve hired a different lawyer. This was like the 2nd mistake I made. Mr.
Lewis made a habit of arriving late to all of my court appearances. At the last court case, he came over an hour late and had the judge and
bailiff upset. Not only was he late, but also unprepared per usual. I was pissed!!! He didn’t defend me like we talked about over the phone.
It’s like his mind went blank when it was time to represent me. I’m pretty sure a 1st year law student could’ve have defended me better
than him. Not only was I found guilty, but I wasted thousands of dollars hiring them. I’ve never heard of pissed poor service like this
in my life. I beg of you, please do not make the same mistake I made. I’m writing this to help someone. My experience was nightmarish and
like something out of a movie. You will regret it. I’m only writing this because I care about people. You’ve been warned.

With all respect , on first court date MR Najera was about 2 hours late , on 2 nd court he said he would be there at 9am and was running late , me and my ex wife with her attorney waited till 11am finally MR Najera s assistant called that he would not make due to being in another court trial , 3 rd court date MR Najera showed up late about 10am and without my file , mey exs attorney had to give him a copy , finally they asked for more money and I refused ..
