We have a blended family. We consulted with Attorney Lea Shelemey about parenting time issues. Her response was thoughtful, and considerate of our family’s needs. We had been through the traditional litigation model and despite our best efforts, the other party continued to be non-compliant in nearly every respect, and (more distressing) randomly withdrawing court-ordered parenting visits/time. Our experience with other attorneys was good, but going back to court did not seem go get us where we had hoped to be. Thanks to Lea’s guidance, we tried mediation, and that really helped. We have now made progress with the other party and have discovered a more satisfactory method for resolving our disputes. We continue to use mediation when we need to work through issues. Although Lea is a trained litigator, we appreciate her skill as a peacemaker (especially since I am a psychologist). I will definitely be going back to Ms. Shelemey when we need further guidance. I met Dale when he and his colleague Joe Della-Rodolfa had represented me in some federal & state matters.
He is one of the best - point blank... I have been to many offices and been in several claims/cases - his team was by far the BEST out of every other encounter..
He is honest, he will listen to you, he will fight for you, and he will have no reservations whatsoever in speaking his mind to stand up for what's right. He is a very honorable person and he has no issues with being firm and aggressive in his stance while fighting for you! A++ and a 20 out of 10 in my view.. At the beginning of this year I was granted a divorce by default. In the divorce there was a question of paternity, hence the reason for a default judgment because my ex wife refused to respond or acknowledge that she received the documents. We tried to serve her several times at multiple addresses but to no avail. A few months later I received child support papers in the mail and realized why she didn't respond and that was because my divorce attorney did not specify the child was not mine. I panicked and went to child support enforcement and explained what was going on and was recommended to retain an attorney. I went to a few different consultations. Finally I consulted with Laura's legal team and it felt like someone was actually listening to me.
Laura began working on my case immediately and was able to correct my former attorney's mistake and mistakes I made along the way. Laura took the time to properly represent me in the administrative hearing. The case was dismissed. Prior to this experience I didn't think an attorney like her existed. Most only listen to the dollars they will be taking from you and don't care about the impact it will have on your life. Barbara was on my original divorce case in 2012 and has recently represented me on a enforcement issue around child support. She really knows her stuff and does not give false hope about the situation. However, she is also very kind, compassionate and really cares about what happens with the kids in these situations. My case on it's face looked very straightforward but it turned out to be very difficult and time consuming. She stuck with me through 3 difficult mediations and always had her eye on the final outcome. She was always focused on the long term picture and was very good at keeping me from getting stuck in the small stuff. I would highly recommend her as an attorney and a mediator. I would certainly hire her again!!

There's a myth as one searches for a great family lawyer that in order to get results, you have to hire a bad *** - who will treat your former spouse (and probably you) like dirt, but it will be worth it because you will get results. Joe is proof that you can work with a fantastic, caring human being and still get the tough negotiation skills needed to get the results you desire.
As a former lawyer myself (JD, LLM), I can affirm that his knowledge of family law is thorough & detailed.
If I had to do it all over again (hopefully never), I would select Joe every time. He made a troubled time bearable and saw that I got the things that were most important to me during my divorce & custody battle.

Joe was recommended to me by a Defense Attorney whom I trust and respect as "the one I would go to if it was my Divorce." Joe 'literally' does Family Law , as both his Son and Daughter followed him into his profession and are the second and third Attorneys in the Milner Law Firm. As Bob Bowman, a Mediator, put it: "I couldn't think of a better recommendation than to have your own kids want to work for you!" Joe was attentive, concerned, and supportative, and more importantly, was perceptive as to the attack plan of the opposing Counsel and how to counteract it. He also was able to uncover deceptions and expose false statements made by my Ex during deposition. We ended up settling our case,and although we did not go to trial, I was able to walk away with the things that mattered most to me and he helped me engineer a plan to cut the chains that had been laid out to bind me financially to her for the next 6 years. If you are the "good guy" in a Divorce, you can't do better than Joe.

I have known Rand Hoch for over 16 years. I have used him as a Private Mediator when I handled defense cases for 3 years and claimant's cases for the past 13 years. Rose-Anne was the arbitrator for a very, very bitter divorce with other issues to be dealt with on the side to further complicate the problems. As the Realtor trying to get the home sold, Rose-Anne navigated the numerous hurdles necessary to accomplish that goal. I could not have ever been able to reach a closing without her. She was fair to both parties but able to make the necessary digficult decisions when needed. I cannot recommend Rose-Anne and is the best I have ever worked with in 35 years of selling 2000+ homes in Denver.

Rose-anne helped me 10 years ago with creating an initial parenting plan for my daughter, then again a couple weeks ago to re-negotiate through her turning 19. She is incredibly talented at helping negotiate and is very straight forward and direct. I find it amazing how she can remain totally neutral through all the negativity. She cuts straight to what you want to accomplish with your time and helps you both get there. Though my ex and I don't see eye to eye at ALL, she helped us complete a second parenting plan and we should be set for the remainder of her upbringing. I’m a 36-year-old software engineer living in the Midwest. Most of my early life I never had good credit. 3 months ago my credit scores were 580 low 600s. I was obviously not happy with those scores so I started to clean up my credit. Opened 2 secured cards; Discover IT for 200; Navy Federal secured for 250. Did the pledge loan as well; self-account, stellar fi, boom for renting reporting, cap one only a 300 limit. I was very impressed with both Mr. Rudolph's depth of knowledge as well as his professionalism and kindness. This was quite a convoluted mess of a case, one with several outside hearings going on at the same time, sometimes interfering with the matter at hand, but once Mr. Rudolph took the time to research the validity of my concerns, he never wavered in his confidence and trust in me. He figuratively then literally stood by my side as my advocate the entire time, most impressively during mediation where I tended to get a bit heated. This case is just now coming to a close (1yr, 7 months since filing) with my desired results. The charged party used delay tactics in order to have me give up. Mr. Rudolph dealt with each delay in a calm manner, letting them know his client (me) would not back down, and finally resulting in a satisfactory settlement agreement. I recommend him without reservation.

Working with Diana was a gift from God. I knew my divorce was going to be messy - our break-up was disastrous - but Diana was fabulous at mitigating the items and dividing it up so that we were both happy. Or perhaps satisfied is a better word - nothing about divorce is happy. Anyway, she was amazing. She knew just the right things to say and kept both of us in our chairs the whole process, which is quite a feat, I assure you. She has a very calming effect. I appreciated how when my husband of 23 years and I were getting divorced, we didn't need to go through the courts and were able to settle our divorce without either of us paying a small fortune to lawyers and the courts to get everything straightened out.
I liked that they were there to help us reach a fair and reasonable settlement and that we didn't need to be at the coruthouse every week to get things settled. It was refreshing to be able to speak my mind about some of the things that I was looking for and I like that they stress peace in the process rather than what than taking everything a piece at a time. It's a more holistic approach to divorce that allows for some emotional healing along the way.
Though this is my second divorce, I wouldn't have aproached it any other way. Courts are too draining and being able to negotiate a fair divorce and settlement with mediation was a very good choice for us.

I can’t say enough positive things about Chelsea. I was the party of a nasty divorce with a narcissist; which is the worst divorce to encounter. After having two previous attorneys that wanted to play games, I hired Chelsea to complete remaining items.
