I have used Lisa in the past as my attorney, and thought that she did such a fantastic job. I hired her again in 2020 and have been using her for the better part of the last 3+ years for issues regarding the custody agreement/child support/general well being of my son. I think it says a lot that I have been working with her for so long when it is regards to something so important to me. I trust her! She is very knowledgeable specifically pertaining to family law and custody cases and has the experience that is needed to get things done. She is punctual in responding to emails/ phone calls and has an impeccable memory. I am always amazed at the details she remembers, even from things that happened years ago. Hiring an attorney can be unsettling as most have no idea of the lawyer’s quality. Lisa more than surpassed my expectations . I was dealing with a very difficult situation, and it was only for a referee hearing our divorce was already final. Lana was very supportive, caring, forthright, and so knowledgeable about all the laws. She helped me stand tall with a difficult ex and took my financial situation into account. She knew that the money I was using was a gift from a friend who had passed away and was very good about ensuring I received what was left when we closed the case. She was able to help me realize he couldn't bully me any longer.. I wish I would have used her for my divorce!! Her care for her clients is amazing and her 1st priority are the children involved and taking care of her clients. She is AMAZING!!! I was absolutely grateful to have found her. Lana is not only very professional, she is a compassionate person. After I was refereed to a lawyer, I decided I wanted to keep looking because I had that feeling that the lawyer seen me as just another case. Then I found Lana. Lana was very different and I am so glad to have run into her. Do yourself a favor and consider her as your attorney. You won't find a better person to give you legal advice; that goes a long way for me. She is also extremely knowledgeable while providing an experience that feels so much more than a legal consultation. She's a real human being and you just can't find that anywhere else. I personally would highly recommend Betsy Salcedo, she is very quick, intentive, and really knows what she is doing. Not is she friendly and highly professional but is also fairly priced. Ms. Salcedo never failed to exceed, I was always satisfied with her work. She has a great ability to grab all of the bits and pieces of information and when it came to my defence was able to effectively use that information. when ever I had a question Ms. Salcedo would always be more than happy to take the time out of her day to answer them.

Betsy has been my saving grace through the most hellacious time in my life. She has been fair with payments and pricing as she knows that I am struggling financially. She has taken phone calls and texts at crazy times and has even called while she was assisting her son with homework when I was in a panic. She takes her time and explains what may or may not happen.

Austin is the best family law practitioner in town imho. The staff at the office are lovely: very professional, friendly and responsive. Austin is very knowledgeable about his area of practice, takes the time to ensure that clients understand their options, and really goes to bat for them. Billing is very clear and uncomplicated. Meg was recommended to me and handled my contentious protracted divorce. She was extremely responsive and had a special ability to "calm" the emotions and stay focused on the case issues. I just wanted to take a minute to say how amazing Nadine was when we dealt with her. She was meant to be an Advocate for the child’s best interest, and she truly dug deep to really see and understand both parties while keeping in mind what was best for the child.
She changed her court order when she saw that one party clearly did not have respect for the court. Because of that action- she recommended reunification counseling. Anyone who has been separated from a child knows that isolation from one parent can have a huge affect on a child and whether or not they want to see the other parent, even if the other parent has done nothing wrong. The counseling allows the child to reconnect with the other parent with no barriers or influence. I feel it’s key in a custody battle especially when most law enforcement jurisdictions don’t force visitation. We spent a year in court trying every possible way to see her even-though we already had 50/50 custody . She listened to our pain and struggle when no one had before. As the Wife of a husband who has tried dearly to be part of his daughters life for over a decade with very little success, and no obvious allies, she stepped in and quickly saw the situation for what it was, someone finally to see the injustices that we had been experiencing for years, she did what was in the child’s best interest, she didn’t take sides she just went on the evidence that was presented before her, and I thank God for that, she was an angel to us. She is the only one who we ever felt cared, and really wanted to repair the situation for the child sake, she didn’t favor the mother, she didn’t favor the father.
She went with what they revealed to her in there many meetings and Conversations. She is truly a public servant who really cares about reunifying families whenever ever possible. I feel she went above and beyond the call of duty, and I will be eternally grateful.

I received a traffic ticket worth fighting in late 2019 in DeKalb County. Wow!! I am amazed at what Weber Law Office did for me. First, April. Amazing. I needed help, right away for my son(traffic). I called Weber law because of the ratings I saw online. April immediately assisted me during this emotional time and related. I work in customer, so to engage, and make me feel welcomed is not something that can be easily done. It wasn't transnational, all of my interactions with April and Mr. Weber were extremely memorable. That's what you need when you're going through a tough time. You want to know that you can trust and depend on the lawyer that you're hiring. I called on a Wednesday morning, probably when they first opened. By the afternoon, I had been in office, retained Mr. Weber, and had a court date for the next day. Literally Mr. Weber was able to do a walk in docket, and have the issue taken care of. Afterwards, he visited with me, my son, and mom, and we had a conversation about travel or something.
It's been a little over 2 weeks since I first called Weber law. The follow up has been phenomenal, both email and phone. If you're looking for a lawyer who will actually LISTEN to you, and make sure that you understand the process, with amazing follow through, Weber Law is what I who I would choose. Before finding Lisa, I probably called 3 or 4 different lawyers. I had a two hour consultation with Mr. Lastra concerning my pending divorce and custody matter.
I have multiple children with my spouse, including a stepchild from their previous marriage whose life I've been a part of since they were very little. Shortly into our meeting, Mr. Lastra asked me about my children and whether our relationship was biological, and then explained very compassionately that - unfortunately - if it were contested by either or both of their biological parents, he would not be able to guarantee me custody of or access to my stepchild as a de facto parent. He assured me that if he were representing me and I truly did want to pursue it against all odds that he would do everything in his power to help, but cautioned that it would likely be a long and costly uphill battle with an uncertain outcome.
As heartbreaking as that was to hear, Mr. Lastra was the first lawyer to really prioritize and ask about my concerns for the children rather than choose to focus on my spouse and our finances and marital property. His honesty about that - the one outcome I care most about - gave me peace of mind that he wasn't just telling me what I want to hear to get me to sign his retainer.
Additionally, while his consultation was not free, without my even having to ask, Mr. Lastra was extremely considerate of my budget. At the very beginning of the meeting, he verified the hourly rate that I had been quoted previously and told me how long his consultations with other people typically lasted. Then, every twenty minutes or so, he was kind enough to let me know how much billable time had elapsed and allowed me to set the pace of our discussion accordingly.
Throughout the rest of our meeting, Mr. Lastra was both extremely inquisitive and educational. Rather than simply listen to my account of events, he engaged frequently, asking regular questions and taking notes. He also shared a wealth of his own knowledge, pulling from both general law and process as well as experiences gained from similar cases he'd handled in the past. During our consultation, I felt both well listened to and that I was speaking with an obvious expert.
Prior to our meeting, I had discussed this matter with a few other lawyers, and while they were all quite professional and empathetic, none of them felt like they were being as realistic with me about the possible timelines, outcomes, costs, and the availability of themselves and their associates to adequately represent me and my family's interests as Mr. Lastra did. Though his rates are above average, my first impression from my consultation is that there is very good justification for it. He has absolutely earned my endorsement.
