I needed some help with a small estate affidavit after my father passed. I live out of the state of Tennessee making it very difficult to get straight answers from anyone and eventually finding that a couple lawyers were trying to nickel and dime me - starting with one price and then coming back with another. Then I found Tara. She was the answer to my prayers: upfront, informative, confident, and most importantly, honest. She quoted me a flat fee for the work and filing fees for probate court, she constantly kept me informed with paperwork updates and the like. She was empathic to the fact that I was dealing with a stressful situation. The human element of the law is hard to find sometimes. I really appreciated that coming from Tara. She's got a great sense of humor, too, which is usually important in times like these. She takes her work very seriously. She also - after no longer being her client - answered my emails full of questions and met with me to go over things in person once I'd gotten into town. I thought she was great and I feel so lucky to have found her. I'd definitely recommend Tara.

I am so pleased with Ms. Hawley. she is concise, and is truly knowledgeable in her profession. As a woman handling my Mother's estate I started out with an attorney that kept raising the fee. Ms. Hawley offered me a flat fee and addressed all of my concerns. I chose Ms. Hawley because she was a part of a large firm that can offer a depth of experience in handling a legal situation. I engaged Ms Carter of the Higgins Firm, to handle the estate of a deceased family member. She was very diligent in resolving all the issues in this complicated estate. I feel that she was very successful in bringing about the best possible results. Ms Carter explained in detail her actions every step of the way. Without a doubt Joseph was by FAR, the most reasonable and the most trustworthy lawyer I spoke with in El Paso. I ran around for WEEKS searching for a lawyer who cared about myself and my case not the money and that was what Joseph did. I’m in the military and had an AFV Case. Joseph was able to get that case dismissed. Not only did he work with me financially but also personally. I would meet with Joseph and a big part of managing clients is managing their expectations and I couldn’t have had anyone handle it in a more professional and caring way. If you have any sort of charge and you are in the Military and care about your career, I can honestly say that Joseph is the person you need to work with. He gave me paperwork so my chain of command could know what I was doing was legitimate as well as updating me constantly on my case. Mr. Martinez first assisted me after my grandfather passed away helping my mother through the process of probate court. He also assisted with my mothers Will and other legal documents for her. Amy helped us after my mom passed navigating the state requirements to become an executor for her estate, do what is required for probate, and finally distribute her estate as per her wishes in her will. She is also going to be our estate lawyer after this dust has settled. She's wonderful, and has held our hands throughout the process, carefully answering questions and in this time when a loved one passes, offering her grace and empathy. What we recommend is that EVERYONE AT GLENAIRE meet with her right away, to make sure your estate is in order and your plans are exactly what you want - because she is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER FROM YOU. My wife and I set up a revocable family trust with Privette Legacy Planning.
We set up a consultation meeting with Amy. We felt that Amy had the expertise and great attitude to put together a trust for us. She exhibited a great amount of patience with us as she translated legal terms in our trust to plain English! We’re glad we finally moved ahead with her firm. We felt the price we paid for her services was fair.
Amy’s assistant, Sara, supported us during the entire process. Amy wanted to be sure our documents were set up properly and that our assets were named properly to the trust. This office even assisted us in filling out the paperwork to transfer most of our holdings to the trust. This is quite a process, so this help meant a lot to us. I live out of state and needed an attorney to help settle a relative's estate who had lived and passed away in St. Louis. I had called several attorneys asking rates, availability, and how to get some important information I needed. While the other attorneys simple quoted rates and told me to call back - when I asked Mr. Moore if he could find out some information - I could hear him immediately typing into his computer. I was astounded at how quickly and how thoroughly he researched. He gave me more information in a half an hour - than I had found in over two weeks calling different entities. Mr. Moore thoroughly understands estate law - plus, he's very sharp. The best part though, is that I felt that he had my back. He was diligent, enthusiastic and quick with the answers I needed. Kent Anderson saved our house! After a significant drop in income my wife and I were having serious financial difficulties, bills were piling up unpaid, our credit cards were maxed and we were falling farther and farther behind. When the foreclosure notice came we didn’t know what we were going to do.
Kent Anderson was our saviour. He assessed our situation, gave us all the options and helped us to make an informed decision. But he didn’t stop there. He kept working for us over several years keeping our mortgage lender at bay, continuing to look for solutions when we thought it was hopeless, eventually getting our lender to modify our mortgage to a payment we could afford.

I highly recommend Mr. Mcleod. It is sad and disturbing how insurance company's treat you when a family member passes away. My 4 year son was left a life insurance policy by his loving, generous Uncle and the insurance company did all they could not to give my son what belonged to him without making us spend a large sum to get it. After going to another lawyer who said basically I need to pay the money to get my son his, I found Mr. Mcleod who immediately said that's not right. Needless to say I will be going to Mr. Mcleod for all my Lawyer needs as long as he is in business!!!

Tyler McLeod is excellent! I live in the Midwest but he was able to help my family navigate an unusual situation in South Carolina involving both a contentious property contract of sale and the death of one of the parties to the contract that would possibly have required probate. Scott and his office staff achieved an excellent result on a tedious 3 1/2 year engagement, which included a genealogy study and ultimately a kinship trial. Both the paternal and maternal relatives were very appreciative of the amount of time and effort that was necessary to conclude this matter.
Although not a central point to the representation or the result achieved, the office could have been more forthright and frequent with their updates and case progress, particularly when asked directly about the status of the case.

Attorney Georgina Lepe assisted us in completing our living trust. She was very knowledgeable and would patiently explain everything to us in layman's terms, so we had a complete understanding of what we were signing. She is both professional and warm and friendly. Georgina Lepe is an incredible attorney. After interviewing 6 different living trust attorneys, I came upon Georgina and she was a godsend. My grandmother had terminal cancer and it was a very difficult time for my family, when I meet Georgina I knew she was the one. Georgina was very patient, explained everything very clearly, was able to answer all of our questions, and she made us all feel very comfort with the process. I am a very skeptical person who has a difficult time placing trust in the hands of another, especially when the consequences of it is tied to a result in which I may have no control. My main goal in seeking the right attorney was to find one whose outlook demonstrated a strong moral and ethical compass, and was passionate in their career choice to both uphold and defend the law. I had interviewed several attorneys, who in my opinion, provided nothing more than typical sales pitches, and I became deeply discouraged.
That all changed when I came across Andrew Mayoras's bio, and then reached out to him. What I found in Andy was an attorney who honestly cared about his clients, who was determined to seek the truths, was not intimidated to challenge opposing counsel, weeded through the garbage of opposing counsels arguments, and applied the law appropriately and in accordance to my particular case. What I learned, is no matter what court situation you may find yourself involved in, it is never a pleasant experience. However, when you have confidence in your lawyer, such as I found with Andy Mayoras and other members within his law firm, I fully trusted that my position was going to be zealously represented in an upstanding and professional way. My husband and I contacted Yale Hauptman when it became apparent that my mom would need to be approved for Medicaid in order to continue her care in the residence where she has been successful. After a consultation with Yale, we hired him. Yale and everyone in his office were always knowledgeable, professional, and maintained excellent communication with us. That last part was very important, as the law office has gone through the Medicaid process many times, but it was our first time doing this, so we needed them to continually provide guidance and reassurance that everything was proceeding as needed—and they never lost sight of that. Our experience was extremely positive, and my mom has been approved for Medicaid.

When my husband had a catastrophic accident and needed round the clock long term care I was shocked when told the cost which could have easily bankrupted my family. There was no way we could afford it and be able to support the needs of our young family. Talking to different people led to conflicting information. I needed to update my trust, will, health directive, etc. The attorney I used previously was extremely unresponsive so I asked friends and co-workers for recommendations. One of my colleagues recommended Yuliya with the most specific, and magnificent, praise - and I'm so glad she did.
Yuliya was everything I wanted, and better than I could have anticipated. She communicated clearly, set timelines which she always met, and gave me much better advice on estate planning than I had received in 10 years of my "relationship" with the other attorney.
Yuliya is also extremely nice, and easy to talk to.

Laura is a great attorney!
We were in a car accident and when we hired Laura it became easier to handle, she gave clear direction and fought for our case. This kind of situation can be very overwhelming and Laura answered each question clearly, - sometimes I needed to ask the same question several times, (accidents can be very jumbling).
Laura was always very kind and courteous to us and kept us updated along the way.
Our chosen method of communication was email, and she always got right back to us.
