I'm sorry to say that, even though I was married in the Catholic Church, my wife divorced me in March of this year, 2019. It was traumatic of course but Sharon Lieblich not only did a great job as a lawyer, but as a human being. I truly grew to love her. She was recommended by my family's lawyer in NYC, and though she was more expensive than other lawyers in Virginia, she probably saved me half a million bucks. You can't beat Harvard lawyers!

My Son was injured by a negligent care giver back in Dec/2007. My son grew up with special needs. Even tho he had special needs, my son was a very happy person, & he enjoyed his life. On Dec.2,2007 my son's life changed for the worse. He was in the hands of a care giver who was suppose to be caring for him on that day. This care giver was suppose to be at my son's home, Instead, this woman took my son to her home to be with her boyfriend, there he ended up with a spinal cord injury & this injury took all my son's abilities away from him. My son can no longer walk, feed hiself, & he is now total care. But most of all my sons Joy is gone. He is no longer that happy person who once walked around clapping his hands & humming. But thanks to Dino Colombo who represented my son in this law suit & fought for my son to get a fair settlement. My son will never have to sacrifice for the things he needs for the rest of his life. He has purchased a van equipped for a wheel chair, A home with 17 acres of land in a rural area, top of the line hospital bed, & any equiptment he needs. He also goes on vacations & takes week end trips if he desires to do so. I can remember the winter this law suit was taking place, & it was a snowy winter. it seemed like every time a deposition was scheduled a snow storm would come up.But the snow storms didn't stop Dino Colombo, he was always there.Dino always kept me informed about the case & everything that was going on with the case. He called me numerous times during the law suit, & he always made sure I understood everything. Dino Colombo wasn't just a Lawyer he was our friend & he still remains our friend to this day. If it wasn't for Dino Colombo my son wouldn't have the things today that he needs to make his life better because of these injuries. There would be no wheelchair van, no home to accomudate his wheelchair & his bed would be a medicade hospital bed which isn't too good & very uncomfortable. But Because Of Dino Colombo my son has everything he needs to make his life better for him. No, the money can't replace what happened to my son or put him back the way he once was. But it can help his life be a little bit better & he can have the equiptment, etc he needs now because of these injuries. Even tho my son has adjusted to his injuries & can now smile again, he will never be like his old self. We use to do alot of things togeather him, & I.... And I really miss that. I will always be grateful to Dino Colombo for his hard work & dedication to this lawsuit. Without Dino Colombo's help my son's life would not be what it is today. I hired Attorney Jase Allen to prepare a revocable trust for my estate in August of 2016. He responded in a timely fashion with home visits throughout the two week process. Over the course of those two weeks, I continued to give Jase changes and updates through many emails until I felt the details in the trust accurately described my wishes for asset distribution. He was very patient and responsive to my requests for these changes and updates. Additionally, I found Jase to be very knowledgeable, personable, congenial, cooperative, and willing to go the extra mile to assure my wishes for distribution of trust assets were accurately described to meet my satisfaction. I had the opportunity to hire Mr. Beard on two separate occasions. One was a career ending injury from commercial crab fishing in Alaska. Back at the end of 2003. He worked tirelessly on this lawsuit until the end. Which took almost two full years to settle. He kept in contact and informed on every issue of this case. With vary favorable results for me. Then in 2012 I was given the chance to try a return to the commercial fisheries. All was going good for the first few seasons. Then on Halloween night. A crew member lost control of a crab pot. Striking me in the head. Leaving me with a severe head injury. After receiving zero help for my injuries from the vessels owners. I had no choice but to again seek out Mr. Beard for his help. Without hesitation, he was helping me. Instantly things changed. My doctors started actually helping me. Bills started to get paid. And the owners of the boat finally admitted that I was hurt on the boat. Since they wouldn't acknowledge this before Mr. Beard stepped into help. When he did, things happened fast. My head injury left me with a TBI which was severe. Which led to many medications and bad side effects. In the end. Because of all of this. I tried to take my life. Mr. Beard stood by my side. Still doing everything possible for me and my family, to get through this horrific ordeal. Which thankfully I did. He never gave up on me. When many others had. This may have been possibly one of the most difficult cases he may have ever faced. In my opinion, I'm sure it was. Since the TBI, suicide attempt, coma and very long hospital stay. And the many issues involved in any lawsuit. After about three years of his relentless work he put in for me. He secured me a favorable settlement, that will let me live my life, as I had before these horrific injuries. He will work non-stop. Without exception for you. He will tell you straight, the pros, cons and risks of the lawsuit. Mr Beard, in my opinion. Is one of the most knowledgeable, best versed attorney in the maritime field. In the end, he is one of the best. I wouldn't want anyone else representing me, when my whole future is at stake.

When my husband was injured in the line of duty the nature of some of his injuries was not readily apparent. As we awaited the final diagnosis of his condition, we needed help and advice. I had a big car accident in June 2018; I almost lost my life because of a careless driver that crushed my car to rush to the gas station. I suffered a lot from this accident, been through so many medications and treatment, mentally so stress, and financially been rough. I called Saeed and explained my traffic ticket; unlike the other lawyers who wanted me to hire them immediately and pay them up front. Saeed advised me that my traffic ticket was a simple expiry of tag and that i should be able to pay the fine without paying thousands to any lawyer. He was more of a physician watching out for the best interest of his client instead of a businessman looking out for the best for himself. Saeed is a fantastic attorney and just a genuinely caring guy. His office is in a very nice area, and conveniently located. He spent more time with me than I've ever experienced from an attorney, and he was quick to find answers to all my questions. A few months back, I rushed my fiancé to the hospital for excruciating stomach pain, and after a normal blood test and pain killers, they wanted to discharge her. Being in the medical field I did not find this acceptable, and upon further investigation, she has an a emergency appendectomy. I had an ex-girlfriend who was stalking me and making my life miserable. One day, she was banging on my door for hours. When I tried to leave, she chased me in her car and ended up rear ending me. I got out of my car and was trying to pull her keys out of her ignition and some witnesses saw that and called the police. They arrested me for felony domestic violence. I hired attorney Joel Hoffman and he immediately called the court and had it reduced to a misdemeanor. At the hearing, he was able to have the charges further reduced to misdemeanor trespass with minimal fines and no jail time which I was very happy to accept, considering what it could have been. This was a very stressful time for me since I had never been arrested before in my life but Mr. Hoffman really helped me through the whole nerve racking process. His fees were very reasonable as well. I highly recommend Attorney Joel Hoffman.
