My divorce has finally ended. Attorney Gersten’s representation, guidance, and ability to walk me through this process was top notch. I had a very contentious divorce, my ex tried to have me put in prison on false accusations. Attorney Gersten was right there on the phone with the detectives keepingme free. In the end we accomplished all my goals in the divorce and feel like the judge truly saw my side of events. Karen’s closing was a perfect summary of how I had been wronged by my wife and my love of my daughter, the other victim in this case. I nearly cried in court. I recently found myself in the middle of a "gray" divorce. 70 years old, married for 13 years to a woman that turned on me. I decided to represent myself in court, defending my pension, Social Security, health care, non marital assets, bank accounts and such. It didn't take long for me to realize I needed a professional consultation as her attorney's proposal was outrageous and would ruin me financially for the rest of my life.
Karen's name was highly recommended by a close friend. A quick email to her office and I scheduled a consultation.
I'm a good judge of people and immediately knew she was the person I wanted representing me. No nonsense or small talk. Straight to the point. Professional and knows the law. I knew she had my back.
Once the dust settled, I was able to keep 90% of what I worked my entire life for. To say I am happy with her service would be an understatement.
Regarding payment, her billing was straightforward and well documented. The entire process cost me much less than I expected.

Attorney Gersten is a top divorce attorney in the area. She did an amazing job and what seemed to be impossible to me a year ago. I went through a very difficult divorce. Before hiring attorney Gersten I interviewed 4 other attorneys and I am glad I chose Karen. She is very efficient and has fair charges and accounting of hours practice. Karen is very knowledgeable and well respected in the court. She always fights to protect interests of her clients, while open to settlement without unnecessary trials if her clients are satisfied with outcome. If presented with challenge, Karen is open to face it without hesitation and do research of precedents to be used in the court. Karen is always confident and has genuine care for her clients. She always comes to the court prepared and ready to protect your interests. Karen is working hard to make sure she provides high quality service. I wish I could give Karen more than 5 starts.

I retained Attorney Shore for a divorce agreement modification. All I can say is WOW. Hands down the best Attorney I have ever hired in my entire life. She is tough, smart, and not afraid to tackle difficult and sensitive issues with a firm and caring hand. I have never seen someone stand up for my rights in court the way that Attorney Shore did. She worked with me out of state, spent long hours on my case, all while she was EIGHT MONTHS PREGNANT. I can not put into words what her representation has meant to me and my family. So….My accident happened in August, I waited a day to get a lawyer, it was my first accident. I never been through any legal matters in my life. I get a big law firm to represent me and they tell me to keep them posted as I go through everything regarding my accident as far as medical treatment, after about 2 months I find out I need surgery. My wife just had surgery so she is out of work and I’m about to be go on leave. The law firm I hired calls me the day of my wife surgery and tell me they can no longer represent me….it took 2 months to get this info. I’m furious but I can’t waste time I need to find a lawyer, I call 5 law firms and 4 get back to me. The first 3 firms I speak to were almost exactly the same, have me explain my case and have me signed up, so they can start, I was losing hope and I get a call back from Ayme Calderon from Law offices of Michael E. Skiber, she was the first to ask me questions, and to give me insight on how cases like mine work. Not exactly sure how to explain how Mike's hard and excellent work has changed my life forever. I was hit by a car on Park Ave & 34th street in 2019—while riding my electric scooter home to the upper east side from the east village. An SUV blitzed through a yellow light and plowed into me as I was taking off into a green light. I broke my shoulder in 3 places—which could be repaired surgically. However, it wasn't until 2 years later that I realized that the accident had thrown my body completely out of whack forever, and I'd never be able to run more than 2-3 miles ever again. The driver of the SUV had a $50K insurance policy which was just enough to cover my hospital and surgery costs. But, Mike is a genius, and he discovered an opportunity to claim an even larger, additional settlement—which I never in a million years would have known about. He went after it. He fought for me. He never gave up. He does not give up, ever. 2 years later, he called me to let me know that we settled and disclosed the settle amount to me—and I cried tears of joy. It was very frustrating to find an attorney that could handle our case. Atty Daddario was just a random find on Google. We initially hired him to take on our case because he won a majority of his cases. I highly recommend Renee for all of your immigration needs! She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, straightforward and honest. She helped my husband and me with a response to a “Notice of Intent to Deny” that we received in response to our I-130 application. She also helped us with a waiver application that was approved a month after it was filed and I received my permanent card a week after that. All that from April to November. Renee prepared the response to the NOID and waiver application extremely well and she knew exactly what was needed to be done at any moment. Also, it was great that everything could be done virtually online since we are more than an hour away from her office. This lawyer knows how the legal system works from a to z and if you are being falsely accused he will fight for you until the end. I would highly recommend hiring Attorney Donald Howard for any of your traffic related issues. I received a ticket for texting and I was not texting but got the ticket anyways because the officer thought "she saw a phone in my hand"....
This happened right before Covid hit and closed all the courtrooms for at least a year. (February 2020)...We plead Not Guilty but our case was delayed until yesterday. There was also a huge mess up with the DMV because they were sending many people license suspension notices claiming people didn't show up at court...This was completely false because the courts never received any of the infractions....Thus there was no court or court dates... To make a long story short Donald took care of everything and put my mind at ease.
The case was also dismissed.

It’s been 5 years since my divorce. I am finally able to write a review. The entire process was horrible and caused PTSD. Eric and his team made my situation the best it could be.
