I can say in the beginning he was very knowledgeable seemed like he wanted to help protect me and my special needs child. Towards the end just seems like he did not care anymore he knew exactly what was happening, the fact that my supposed victim I threatened me and my child, was a known drug dealer, known to be married and frauding the government, proven to lie directly to a judge.the fact that she was I was told this is not substantial to my case. But then was told by several different attorneys it should have been included. The fact that he said I shouldn't have been arrested but did nothing about it as he was not at my arraignment. Seems when I got another attorney to ask him questions everything kind of went sideways as I was being told by Mr young one thing and being proven by different attorneys that was not the case. I spent my life savings trying to protect my special needs child that Mr Young knew was in very realistic possible danger period yeah he did nothing to prove my innocence just question me as if I was the bad guy never directly answering questions

Several main problems that I can go through in detail by memory. My first impression was of her berating a young intern or employee to the point of tears in public. Then I learned it wasn't just employees, it was clients. Eldercare clients. Then I learned it included me, an eldercare client paying $600.00 hour for a snapping turtle. Every time she snapped, I took it, though t about it and said to myself I have no idea what caused that. At the third meeting she did it again to someone else and I said "Wait a minute, you are not a criminal lawyer, we are not criiminals. We are also also not rich and no more of this at your $600 an hour What kind of eldercare attorney talks to their eldercare clients? She replied dismissively that technically my 90 year old mother was her client. Now just think about that for a minute and see if you can think of a worse possible reply in a courtroom. She's basically saying my 90 year old mother is safe from her barbs but that the children attempting to pay for it are fare game. Not at $600 an hour were not! Recently asked for a simple line item accounting of meetings held and was informed by an employee after consulting with her that the "file had been shred", Why don't you give me a call because you've been too afraid to talk to me. On the other hand she gives pleasant little radio talks. No problems whatsoever with the staff. And the infamous weakness of a snapping turtle is a weak underbelly.......

Going through a divorce is stressful enough. Do not bring this man into your life unless you're looking to make it more stressful, and lose all your money while you're at it. Towards the end of the literal YEARS I was stuck with Dan (got too far in and couldn't afford starting over with another retainer somewhere else), I really started to believe Dan was a malicious person. As some years have passed and I have more perspective on it now, I see he is someone who is simply just lazy and in it for the $$. To pay this man $500/hour is both sickening and laughable when I think about what he actually did during that time. A whole lot of nothing. He is arrogant, overpriced, and just a lazy man. There's plenty of decent overpriced lawyers on the Gold Coast. Go find one, because Dan Murphy isn't it.

Dan provided outstanding legal counsel in a number of varied settings over the last several years. He represented a family member in court. It went very well. I was thankful that we hired him. He also helped my family with a legal issue. I have also referred him to several of my clients and they were all very happy. I suggest you talk to Dan about your legal issues. He will either be able to help you or he will be candid and tell you he can't help you.

I signed up for a divorce. After $45,000 in fees, he convinced me to settle to avoid a costly custody battle. I was promptly sued for custody. The settlement was reviewed and the judge determined I owed another $12,000 to my ex. After I went bankrupt, he sued my aunt. My aunt had given me the $10,000 retainer, and co-signed, so he used his highest billing rate and sued her for another $50,000, knowing full well she had only agreed to the initial $10,000. I then had to spend $20,000 defending against his suing my aunt, because he could just file motion after motion. Destroyed my relationship with my aunt. I lost my son. Never go to this man.

Attorney Fay has been helping me navigate the family court system for over 6 years now. I have stayed with Attorney Fay for this long because she is honest, ethical and direct. My custody dispute has been very challenging but Attorney Fay has never missed a court hearing/appearance/status conference, etc and there have been many in 6 years. Her command of the details of my case is truly impressive. She is also honest about what she is capable of helping with and what to expect at court. I have never felt mislead or disappointed by her guidance. And I appreciate how fair she is with her billing; it has allowed me to continue to fight for my child's best interest without going bankrupt in the process. I cannot say enough about what a true professional Attorney Fay is. If you are in need of an attorney who will be committed to your case not matter how difficult or challenging the other party is, I highly recommend Attorney Fay.

The man might not be the most personable person but he does know how to handle an extreme situation involving North Carolina and CT. I would recommend any father fighting for his child this attorney.

To be concise, he knows the law and can reiterate it well. He has a strong enough presence in the court room but focuses on things not necessary to the case. While leaving out facts that are pertinent. And having a misogynistic judge sitting on the bench these tactics were not useful in a nasty divorce. Also, I had the feeling after this judge's decision he was swayed to believing the other sides out and out lies. Lies that another judge who did not have a misogynistic character flaw would see through and rule against. Perhaps Mr. Goulden is better under other circumstances but definitely not in cases like mine. He is not good in a tough and messy divorce situation. An attorney in this situation has to play as dirty as the other side.

When I decided to put together a Trust I looked him up and saw that his focus is Estates and Trusts...I called him and he spent over 30 mins. asking me questions and advising me. i did my own research online and decided he was the one that could help me. He was courteous, kind, understanding, and most of all thorough and well versed. He built my Trust and Living Will etc., I highly recommend Tom Drew.

My experience with Attorney Drew was extremely positive. I found Mr. Drew to be very responsive, professional, and reasonable in terms of expenses. My mother's estate turned out to be much more complicated than we expected, and the CT Department of Social Services was unusually thorough and sometimes difficult to deal with, but with Mr. Drew's assistance, we reached a very positive outcome. His assistance was invaluable and he did a great job in advocating the interests of my mom.

I’m an unsatisfied client of Tom Drew who I hired for Estate Planning. He didn’t invest the time or have patience to properly educate us about his estate plans and was intolerant to accommodate and address our concerns. His estate plan could have been better formatted with articles headings, an index, more definitions and key words notations to easily reference subjects and to facilitate comprehension. We couldn't go forward with the estate plans he submitted. The relationship was terminated and not in a pleasant manner. We lost our $2,215 advance.

Attorney Kane never returned any of my phone calls and his staff couldn't be bothered to help me. I always felt like I was a burden. Attorney Kane promised work to be done in a week and a month later nothing had been done on my case, which made me feel like I wasn't important. So I took my case to another attorney.

When I was embarking on a divorce, I found myself in a challenging legal situation, feeling alone and residing in a country far away from my family. After two years of stagnant progress with my previous lawyer, I knew I needed a different approach. My lawyer recommended Jill Blomberg, and that decision turned out to be a game-changer. From the outset, Jill's strategy was brilliant. Switching to Jill's team marked a turning point in my case. She didn't hesitate to take charge, steering us away from a settlement path that wasn't working. Jill, along with Molly and Rachel, took immediate action when we filed. She refused to play the opposing lawyer's game and asserted control, effecting change within months. While she made some decisions that I didn't like at the time, I always ended up learning that it was the right decision. It's obviously her world and she knows what she's doing. I can't help but think that having her from the beginning would have expedited the process. The significance of trust in your lawyer cannot be overstated, and Jill's team consistently earned mine. Their coordination was impeccable, responding promptly even on weekends, and the balance between Jill's assertiveness and Molly's calmness was effective. I think the services of Bertollet law firm are poor beyond comparison. I am a prospective owner of a house .I hired firm for housing transaction and related services, buyer protection based on contract etc. During the process I had faced issues with some terms in the contract and seek help from Attorney Bertollete. As such reaching them and getting a response a question of luck . Luckily when I did get a response , I was told " We don't provide such services. We can not defend you on legal grounds for contract related issues. We just come in during closing". So we did not contact the firm for any further issues. We set a closing date 1 month in advance and informed Attorney Bertollete. 1 week before Becky comes and tells me the attorney is not available and we should move our closing. So not only do I not get any meaningful service from the firm , but I also face inconveniences and problem purely developed and caused by Bertolette Law firm. Ridiculous! In short the service could be described as unprofessional, unreliable and meaningless!

This attorney is immoral. He takes no personal responsibility or accountability for his practice. He represented a seller in a closing on an investment purchase of mine. Failed to withhold a 1700$ water bill out of sale proceeds on the HUD (his offices job). We verified dollar amount and requested payment and now over a year later I personally had to pay for his mistake and file a title insurance policy claim which will not cover entire amount. What a hack job law office. Immoral. And unaccountable his office should have paid and made a claim to their insurance for their own negligence to their client to properly produce the closing statement. Period. Its a cut and dry issue. Need an attorney? Look elsewhere.

She didn't hesitate to take charge, steering us away from a settlement path that wasn't working. Jill, along with Molly and Rachel, took immediate action when we filed. She refused to play the opposing lawyer's game and asserted control, effecting change within months. My Grand children were unjustly Imorally I believe illegally taken on a OTC order from New Britain DCF managers and social workers all lied and then they refused to give my grandchildren to me based on arrest from the 90’s. This agency is quite corrupt The judges and attorney generals are all in the same bag it’s horrible they tortured my grandchildren and Mike Agranoff save them from a life of torture. 90 days of lots of hard work and dedication and they were released to me after they told me no way.DCF played dirty till the end day before a trial lots of money spent on preparation and motions they release them to me because they knew they all were wrong. I Believe without Attorney Mike Agranoff this would not of been possible. They still would’ve been torturing these two little girls New Britain DCF office should be dismantled Management needs to be changed.

I was arrested in retaliation of filing ethics complaints exposing embezzlement in the Stamford Government. I hired Devin Janosov when my first 2 Attys acted with malice to hide a video I had from day 1 proving my innocence and refused to obtain or compel exculpatory discovery that proves my defense. . My first 3 Attys hide video evidence proving my innocence and acted with malice to get me committed into the mental ward in violation of court law criminal procedures " Title 54 "allows someone deemed incompetent to be a volunteer in an out patient program. My first 2 attorneys allowed the judge to conceal exculpatory video to hurt my defense and commit me to the mental ward illegally. Atty Janosov concealed my videos evidence (from the court) proving my defense to help the SA cause me great harm. Atty Janosov and my 2 former attorneys all acted with malice to hide my rights to receive a "Nolle Prosequi" as the court rules to have my charges dismiss as the law of the court provides sec: 54-56 2 (A) "the court shall approve a "nolle prosequi" that dismisses the charges with out the courts approval. This is an automatic dismissal of the charges as per the rule. The court does not have the right to deny it. Atty Devin Janosov never received any exculpatory evidence because he allowed the SA to conceal all evidence to support my defense the whole time he defended me (1 year) . He refused to file motion to compel discovery for 1 year. Atty Janosov never represented any of the 6 motions we filed to cause me great harm and he allow the SA to conceal all exculpatory evidence including the list of witness the SA intended to call in their prosecution the whole times he represented me for 2 years and 1 month. Janosov never took action to make the State identify the witnesses I had on my video proving my innocence for over 1 year. Janosov concealed a video with SPD Police Captain validating my innocence on video for over 1 years to hinder my defense and cause me great harm. Atty Janosov received some discovery in Sept 2021 and he refused to let me review it even though I paid him to obtain it for me. Atty Devin Janosov never told me I could use my house for collateral to avoid shelling out $30k in out of pocket bail fees. He took my money to defend me against criminal charges fabricated against me. Stamford police got caught on video when they fabricated false arrests on me to hide my complaints exposing embezzlement and misconduct of the Board of Ethics / Stamford government. Atty Janosov never represented a motion for me or told the judge I had a video proving my defense for over 2 years while allowing the courts to conceal evidence I needed to support my defense. Atty Janosov asked the judge to be withdrawn from my case and the judge let Atty Janosov keep $3.750 from me with out ever doing anything to help me for over 2 years. Devin Janosov breach his contract to represent me, represent motions for me and compel discovery, but he keep all my money with the help of the judge. Devin Janosov never filed for a " nolle prosequi " as per court law title 54 sec: 2A) My right to dismiss all charges because I completed the competency program as a patient committed into the mental ward (in violation of title 54 procedures (the lawyers and court violated my rights under title 54 to be an outpatient as a volunteer to gain competence). I would not recommend this lawyer. SM

If you hire this individual to represent you, you will live to regret it. My experience with Rich started when he helped me with a home closing. That was actually ok. But A few years I hired him to represent me in a divorce. That was frankly one of my biggest mistakes. He is at times unorganized (never did he even provide an itemized bill - requested many times however) and at times he seems unable to even provide minimal guidance or even effective negotiations. In the end, with the divorce 2 weeks from "closing" he chose to retire from the case...which frankly was ok. Our relationship was strained to say the least. Again, for what you will end up paying this man, he is not worth it. Please also keep in mind that he is a one man operation with serious health issues. If you hire him, good luck.

I am forever thankful to have Rich on my side for my separation case. It is never easy with children involved, and there were so many hurt feelings it was hard for myself and the other parent to see eye to eye. Rich sat and listened to my story, and immediately gave me insight and direction. Thankfully we didn’t need to go through the entire court process; we settled some differences through mediation.
