I had an EEO case and felt very lost. I reached out to a previous law firm before Pitre and Associates, I did not have much faith in them. I continued researching and came across Pitre & Associates. My case was lengthy but it was handled and walked away with what was necessary. My dignity, and being able to apply for the gov with a new, clean SF-50. Overrides all they (the opponents)attended to do to my career. Was also compensated for damages.
Pros: you will come out with something good amd benefitial with Pitre & Associates.
Cons: It can get costly. Stand up for what you believe in, but be ready to spend some coins. The great thing is Mr. Pitre fights for you to get that money back. Thank you God!!
I would certainly hire the firm again. I recommend the firm to anyone feeling lost and dealing with an EEO, Harrassment, hostile work environment, discrimination. I pray, I never get in a position like that again. It was emotionally draining. Michelle was my fave attorney, although I did not have her for too long. It is not just a job to her, she cares for people. I sensed that. Mr. Pitre is extremely knowledgeable and extremely responsive; he became my other fave at the end.
My wish is: I had found them sooner for some advice before I had even attempted to deal with this. I was high risk pregnant in a very unhealthy situation. Some professional guidance would have helped. They are on my emergency call list if I come across something like this again.....God willing.

We had the opportunity to work with Ben recently on a project to re-incorporate our LLC in a different state. Ben was both highly knowledgeable on the various legal and tax implications of the move and very quick and efficient at executing the change.

I am a father of two kids and a project manager. My divorce was the first process in my life that I had no idea how to manage despite having a career working with people and two advanced degrees. My (then) wife simply dropped all communication and I could not get her to talk about the roadmap for separation and divorce even though we still lived under the same roof (and it was her idea). After being in this situation for over a year, I was getting depressed. I had consulted an attorney who had recommended me to just give my would-be-ex everything that she wanted.
Then I found Ms Moheyer's support group and it changed my life. Every other week, for years, she has led this call-in forum for fathers at different stages of their divorce situations - pro bono, as community service! That group gave me the knowledge of what's possible and the confidence to be able to move things forward. In addition, I took an online workshop (the best $100 spent in my life) and got the tips on establishing dialogue with the partner that leads to re-establishing the degree of mutual trust enough to complete the divorce. Several month later, we were able to nail down some bullet points that were appropriate for us and helped us avoid litigation.
We filed for mutual consent divorce with property separation and shared custody, and several more months later this was done. I still can't believe that in a matter of nine months, Ms Mohyer's support group and her workshop resources helped me get from a very dark place to personal freedom, stamped and approved by the court in MD.
I still attend the support group to discuss the challenges of co-parenting, and this experience is invaluable. Here is why I would recommend this attorney:
*she never pushes services on you. Instead, she lays out the options and I saved a lot by doing the things I had an option of doing the prep work by myself (like collecting some paperwork) that another attorney would have done at a handsome hourly rate).
*She uses psychology to provide tools that enable some kind of dialogue between parties, making the process less painful and less expensive.
I have recommended Ms Jennifer Moheyer to a number of friends, and now that my divorce is in the past and the "paper is dry", I hope someone in a similar situation (in DC, MD, VA) can get assistance.

Ms. Axmith is a lawyer who most definitely stands out. I called her office to leave a message at 10 pm and was surprised to find she picked up the phone because she was working late on a case. She gave me some initial advice that put me at ease, and didn't charge any consultation fees. My initial impression of her is that she is a very experienced and no-nonsense lawyer who would go to bat for you if you were being threatened or intimidated. I really liked her from the get go because I felt she was on my side without judging me or making me feel small. I walked away feeling empowered and less befuddled. Since I was the only White Collar member of the Blue Collar Union Local which I helped form to protect the people who work for the Motor Vehicle Emissions Laboratory in Ann Arbor Michigan, when I needed a Lawyer I went to the President of my Union. He recommended Edward Passman who is a Washington D.C. Attorney. I selected A Washington D.C. Attorney because my case should be adjudicated to help not just me but all other people who have been assaulted as I have been by the USEPA and other Government Agencies and must be settled in Washington D.C.. Mr. Passman turned out to be one of the few Attorneys I have met who I could trust 100% and we thought so much alike that we could complete each other’s sentences when we were working together, though I have never met him in person. If I am really lucky some day I will meet Mr. Passman.

I retained Mr. Passman to represent me for disability discrimination in my federal workplace. Mr. Passman was extremely thorough, honest, fair, professional and always looked out for my best interest. Mr. Passman’s billing is beyond fair as he does not nickel and dime his hourly billing. There are many times Mr. Passman either did not charge for communication, or charged a fraction of what should have been billed. My lawyer, Andrellos Mitchell, is an outstanding litigation attorney. He represented me in a real estate case involving my condominium where the Condo Association and its Management Company breached their contractual obligations after a fire damaged my unit. The defendants hired very large law firms. They tried to get the case dismissed, but were unsuccessful. Mr. Mitchell is ethical, knowledgeable, and aggressive in the litigation process. He fights hard for his clients, but he isn't cheap. In the legal profession, you get what you pay for. While Mr. Mitchell does not make any guarantees of success, he does promise to give you his best efforts and seek a positive outcome for you. All he asks in return is that you cooperate with him, assist him with your case, and pay your bill.

Mr. Mitchell is an excellent employment lawyer. Ignore the fake negative reviews. Mr. Mitchell was hired for my employment case in state government. He responded quickly. We met for a business lunch. He is very articulate and thorough in his interview and review of your documents. He quickly contacted my employer in writing and is handling the matter. I have not had any more harassment at my job to date. In fact, my employer has tried to offer me a promotion.
For Your Information (FYI): The negative reviews are from fake clients.
1. Real clients don’t make “inquiries” when they contact a lawyer. That’s not how the legal business works.
2. Real clients pay money for a consultation fee to meet with the lawyer.
3. Real clients sign a retainer agreement and pay a retainer fee for representation.
4. Fake/Broke clients don’t want to pay for legal services.
5. Google and some other sites allow anyone to make reviews without proof that the person actually hired the lawyer. So the sites can’t be trusted.
6. Fake reviewers are trying to blackmail my lawyer for money. Not going to happen.
7. Don’t believe the fake reviews, Mr. Mitchell is a great lawyer!

Mr. Charles Ray was hired to take and look into my companies corporate taxes and to clearly have me separated from the corporate liability personally. Well the debt remained with the company and I was separated not held personally responsible for the trust fund penalties that could have been assessed to me as the owner of the company. Eric Singer has changed my life in ways that words cannot begin to describe. He took my case and to say it was an uphill battle from the begging is an understatement. Eric also sets realistic expectations, he describes the complexity of the case, his approach and different path going forward depending on the outcome. His prices are amongst the fairest in the field, his ability to work with Clients with financial constraints compares to none. I paid the deposit, set up monthly payments and believe it or not, he started on my case the very next morning. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Mr. K. Lawson. I was referred to him by a trusted connection—my sister’s friend, who is also an attorney. Unfortunately, this turned into a regrettable ordeal.
First and foremost, he misrepresented himself as a civil attorney, claiming to be qualified to handle my case. Despite this claim, he never gave me an opportunity to explain the details of my situation. He was dismissive, condescending, and seemed to predetermine the outcome of my case without listening to or reviewing all the facts. His approach was stern, rude, and entirely unprofessional, leaving me feeling disrespected and unheard.
To make matters worse, when my attorney reached out to address the situation and request the return of my funds, he never responded. His refusal to communicate or resolve the issue speaks volumes about his lack of accountability and professional integrity.
I would never recommend his services to anyone. Legal matters require a degree of trust and understanding between attorney and client, and that trust was completely broken in this case. If you’re seeking legal representation, I encourage you to look elsewhere for someone who will respect you, listen to your concerns, and act ethically in their practice.

I was searching for a tax lawyer to amend some tax returns for an error made by my previous accountant and luckily I was able to find Mr. Rackett. The level of service that Kent provided was far beyond my expectations. Mr. Rackett is a proactive, responsive, effective, and extremely knowledgeable tax lawyer and tax accountant.
In an era where exceptional one-to-one service excellence has virtually disappeared, the work that Kent did for me should be held up as an example for other tax lawyers to try to emulate.
What particularly impressed me about the level of service provided by Mr. Rackett was that all the work was virtually done from one day to the next one. This allowed the expedited processing of all my time-critical amended tax returns. Mr. Vernia represented me in three cases against two billion dollar companies, single-handedly winning all three of them, securing a substantial monetary compensation. He literally saved the case.
I found myself in a bind: headed to a notorious Circuit Court and the senior attorney I had hired had pawned my case off to a junior associate who had botched it all. In fact, we were weeks from submitting the brief and they were totally unprepared.
I was given the name of Ben Vernia from successful attorneys in that circuit and called. Most folks aren’t interested in federal whistleblowers who did the right thing but aren’t likely to yield lots and lots of cash, but Mr. Vernia cared more about saving my dignity and preserving my case. Mr. Vernia got right to work on my case and impressed me in several important ways.
He was transparent about his fees. He estimated hours in advance so I could plan approximate costs. This kept my anxiety and budget within control.
Mr. Vernia was calm and compassionate. He listened to me. He was respectful. He helped me understand the process we would be engaging in so I could know what to expect.

Mr. Sparks is the most awsome lawyer you can ever hire!! He was able to settle my personal injury case with ease and set up a structured settlement on my daughters behalf which will accumulate 10,000 extra dollars towrads her settlement portion by the time she is 18. I was rear-ended by a pickup truck and suffered serious back and neck injuries. Unfortunately, the driver that hit me had a relatively low liability insurance policy. But Mr. Sparks got that insurance company to settle for the driver’s maximum limits. Then, he got my insurance company to pay a lot more because I had a much higher underinsured policy coverage limit. I was very happy with the final outcome.
My family and I suffered a lot in the accident’s aftermath, and Mr. Sparks stood by me every step of the way. He is an incredibly detailed, skilled and accessible lawyer … and a really good human being too.

Ms. Denny went toe to toe with the lawyer of the national luxury housing corporation of which I was a tenant of after my roommate (who was on probation for attacking someone and whom physically attacked my close friend numerous times) had threatened physical violence against me on recording. Under DC Code § 42–3505.07, the leasing office is required by law to release tenants who reside with someone who has harmed or threaten to harm them--however the lawyers at the leasing office would not recognize me under the law when I went about it on my own. After Ms. Denny got involved, the dispute was settled out of court within a couple short weeks (which had previously been going on for months) and I was eventually released from my lease at zero expense to me. I certainly would not have achieved that outcome without the help of Ms. Denny.
