She not only fought for me until the very end but also took a huge burden off of me and gave me peace of mind until my court martial. I knew I was in good hands. Natanyah was fantastic with my case. I hired her 15 months ago before my case even really began. She makes herself available for nearly any line of questioning at all hours of the day. She is incredibly knowledgeable, determined, and caring and it shows in her work. She took on my case passionately, diligently and aggressively worked every possible avenue she could. There was never a doubt in my mind she was doing everything within her power to give me the best possible outcome, shes a lawyer who truly cares and took on my case fighting tooth and nail as if she were in my shoes. I truly couldn't recommend her as legal counsel strong enough. She's compassionate and caring and even after 15 months has been tirelessly working to afford me the best possible outcome. Each step of the way came with a phone call explaining what our next options were, her recommendations and handing me the reigns to choose how I'd like to proceed forward. It was comforting to have her in my corner as she helped me navigate a very difficult time for me. She worked with me on an affordable payment plan, willing to negotiate a plan. Without getting into too many details, I fully believe my experience these last 15 months was in large part because of her. The Navy has never been kind to those in my shoes, giving way to a lot of abuse as the legal process works its way. From the start my process was largely quiet, I was afforded opportunities to take care of myself. Work a largely usual schedule and pursue avenues to seek help and live largely normal. Which is unheard of for servicemembers in my shoes. In some way or another servicemembers are harassed or given demeaning tasks. Anecdotal evidence at best, but I fully believe because I hired Natanyah so early on, and she made her presence known and my command and the Navy aware of her as my legal counsel. I was left largely alone, which was tremendous help during such a tumultuous time. Given the opportunity, I would recommend any servicemember with even a hint of any legal trouble or even questions to seek Natanyah for counsel or to hire.

I recommend her to anyone being wrongfully accused in the Military. She go above and beyond to ensure you get the best legal representation. She treats you like more than a client, will continuously update you, and will also take time out of her busy schedule to call and check in to see how you are doing. Eileen makes an uncomfortable procedure (a will) the easiest of procedures. We worked completely through e-mail until it was time for getting our wills notarized which saved us a great deal of time. She is the epitome of professionalism and guided us through each step and answered all of our questions. And, her fee was much less than another attorney I had talked to. It's definitely worth a call to Eileen if you need advice on wills and your estate. You will receive her professional expertise at a fair cost.

We recently created a family trust and need to re-title an out-of-state condo. After contacting two lawyers in that state, we were discouraged. One was not interested in such a simple transaction. The other quoted an exorbitant fee. Mr. Korkowski was then recommended by a mutual acquaintance. Working with him was a pleasure from start to finish. He responded quickly, gave precise and clear directions, was very efficient and timely, and accomplished our goal quickly. We highly recommend him! He will be our first choice for any future legal transactions .

I was searching for an attorney for a post divorce issue when Alethea Rebman was highly recommended to me by a friend. My original attorney had proved to be incompetent, and another well known attorney I contacted declined my case, telling me I would not prevail. When I contacted Alethea she took the time to thoroughly listen to my case, ask relevant questions, and then she agreed to represent me. I’ve been an attorney for 20 years and know an attorney can be his or her own worst client. So when I had a minor business dispute with a vendor, I hired Ryan to handle it. it was settled in a few days on more favorable terms than I’d authorized. Great job, for a fee that was more than reasonable. I’d recommend Ryan to anyone.

My family came to Ryan with a fairly uncommon problem. We needed his help transferring the guardianship of an adult from one state to another and also from one co-guardian to a new co-guardian. Sounds simple right? Ryan does not specialize in this type of law (I don't think many do), but he didn't bat an eye. We hired Ryan, and he was able to find out everything he needed to make our complex request He filed everything in a timely manner to get us in front of a judge and to get our matter handled. His prices were so reasonable, we felt compelled to give him a bonus for his stellar performance. I would choose him a thousand times.

Called Ryan to get some advice for an estate with no signed will. We spoke for about 45 minutes and he took a real interest in my situation. He laid out expected fees and other costs and asked great questions and relayed a similar circumstance he dealt with and it made my decision easy.

I hired Alen after letting go of my previous attorney on the Big Island where my case was located. This proved to be the best decision EVER, because not only did we win, but also because Alen was so kind, considerate, and most importantly determined! It’s unfortunate to be in a situation where you need a criminal attorney, but when you do, it’s nice to have one who has empathy towards you and what you are going through. Alen is highly knowledgeable of the law, impressive in the court room, and was completely motivated to win my case. He was always quick to respond to any questions that I had, proactive with the case, paid attention to the smallest of details, and worked extremely hard from beginning to end. Hands down the best decision! Once finding out I was under investigation for a misdemeanor (yet very serious) allegation, I consulted with nearly a dozen attorneys. Alen was by far the most responsive, professional, helpful, and practical of all I spoke to, so I hired him. While some lawyers wanted to "wait it out" and see what the State was going to do, Alen engaged immediately and in the end, the prosecutor did not file charges in my case. His ability to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and provide candid support about the case was reassuring during an extremely scary/confusing time. His patient-level headed approach to analyzing the details and compassion for his clients is crystal clear. My mother suffered a fractured jaw and bruised ribs from a fall at a commercial parking lot in Kailua. It was obvious the property management firm was negligent due to no lighting and obstructions leading to the overflow parking lot. You never want to settle directly with the insurance adjuster unless you have representation from an attorney. After consulting with dozens of attorneys who claimed they specialized in personal injury claims 99% refused to take the case citing: age of mom, Medicare issues and/or trouble prosecuting premise injuries. I finally came across with Sam King. Wow immediately I knew I found the right attorney. Most lawyers did not even want to spend much time on the phone discussing the issue but Mr. King invited us to his office and I could immediately know he was knowledgeable and very experienced in handling such cases. He knew how to work the system and who to talk with to get a good settlement. Other attorneys were simply clueless on many of these matters. I also liked that Mr. King never charged a penny upfront and I was free to consult with him regarding matters to this case. Very friendly and honest he could discuss the possible issues to expect. What my mom and I REALLY cherished from Mr. King was his ability to really listen. All these other attorneys talk and interrupt you constantly. Many times victims are formulating their thoughts and instead of assisting your thought process other attorneys cut you off. But not Mr. King. At the end we got a really big settlement w/o even having to go to trial. I would overwhelmingly recommend Mr. King to anyone who has experienced a personal injury. Noah took on a very very complex case of mine. We went threw order of protection to settlement or attempt there of out of court. Noah was there to help keep me in check and gave me a dose of reality when the law seemed so unfair and one sided. I would highly recommend him as a divorce attorney. He won in my favor every time my ex called me into court with an emergency summons.

Mr. Peterson exceeded all my expectations in his representation of my case. He is professional, yet able to handle my ex husbands rude, dishonest, snake of an attorney without hesitation. Darrell Wong is a great lawyer and a wonderful person. I could not be happier with the service I received from him! Contacted several lawyers in Hawaii. Mr. Wong was by FAR the most responsive - he answered my first call on the second ring. He was also the easiest to talk to and the kindest. Came to him with a traffic citation. He got it dismissed within 24 hours. No petty misdemeanor, no points on California record. He’s a miracle worker - and also EXTREMELY kind. So grateful for him. To sum up my personal experience with Steve: I was wrongfully accused of abusing my daughter by my ex and thanks to these committed individuals, I was not only exonerated of these false allegations but Steven went above and beyond to clear my name by finding crucial facts and fighting hard for me in and outside of court. I would recommend this office to any father (or mother) struggling in Family court and fighting for the TRUTH. Make no mistake, this office provides exceptional work and does not settle for anything less than average, every penny spent is worth their quality work. Steve is a passionate and caring individual. Our family lives in the Mainland, and we were in a desperate need for legal support in Hawaii when I approached Steve. During the initial consulting stages, we met several times or so to brainstorm and exchange information; I tried my best to be as thorough as possible without letting feelings come into play but in a post divorce case with my child involved, my emotions tended to come out at times. Ms. Lee was able to instinctively discern important information from the drama as we collaborated our approach to the case. She was compassionate toward the matter but when important elements of the case were needed to be brought to my attention, she did not hastily beat-around-the-bush or sugar coat it; instead, in a straight forward manner she informed me about what was at stake and the various options, if any, that could have been taken. After the initial meeting stages, she recommended that we meet with the opposing party in a pre-court settlement effort. I was definitely not in my element in that meeting, but which client really is? Ms. Lee's demeanor before and during the meeting put me at ease so I was able to think clearly. Both parties were able to settle a fair amount of issues in this meeting so the next thing was to await the court date. The court date arrived quickly and before I knew it, we were preparing to enter the courtroom. The outcome of the case achieved the end that was in my daughter's best interest. Ms. Lee had more than just knowledge of the law field, she had the ability to put this knowledge into effective action which demonstrated her wisdom of the profession.

Just to start of Jason Burks was not the first lawyer that I looked into to defend me there were several others. One of those lawyers being Mr. Tipon also on Avvo with a better review for whatever reason but he was going to charge me a minimum of 2500 without trial and with trial 7000 grand to defend me which seemed extremely steep for a disorderly. The reason I am bringing that up is because when I sat down with Mr. Burks he didn't try to beat around the bush and he said my case was extremely easy to deal with only charging me a thousand right away and another 500 for trail. So after a couple more sit downs with other lawyer I went with him the following week. Mr. Burks was extremely knowledgeable extremely attentive keeping me informed at all times. The night before my trail Mr. Burks called me, mind you it was a Sunday night, but he called to tell me that he had talked to the prosecutor and convinced him to drop the case. So in conclusion Mr. Burks got rid of all charges before even going to court only costing me a grand and if that doesn't make you employ him I don't know what will! Just fyi I'm in the military

After my mother passed away I needed to sell her home in Kona, and I have never bought or sold a home before - it was all new to me. I live on the mainland, and Donna was recommended by a family friend in Kona. I spoke to her on the phone and was very impressed by her knowledge of real estate law, her professionalism, and her communication skills. We got good advice from Donna (disclosure list, etc.). We also had her look over anything we were given, by the realtor or the escrow company, to sign. She said the forms looked pretty standard, but there were a few things she had us change - she had our best interest at heart. My husband and I agreed that paying for an attorney look things over was well worth it for our peace of mind, and fortunately Donna’s rates were very reasonable. After escrow closed we asked Donna to apply for the HARPTA refund, and about six months later we got the entire amount! So thank you, Donna Payesko, for being there when we needed you and for helping to make sure everything went smoothly! Mahalo!

I recently had surgery and was out of work for two months, so money was really tight. Then the bills started coming and coming, and I was really stuck and didn't know what to do. My friend had told me about this lawyer that she had seen years before when she was having a hard time with her bills. So we talked about it and I was desperate, so I made an appointment to see him. he was really nice and genuine. He gave me a few options that I could do. And he helped me through this process. It took a lot of pressure off my shoulders, and I really mean "A LOT". I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat, I couldn't think, I mean I was just so stressed ! Mr. Richard Sakoda is a very hardworking individual that has one goal in mine, and that goal is keeping his clients satisfied going above and beyond the scope of work requirements to ensure all areas of your problems are satisfied. He is knowledgeable of the work he does, trustworthy, excellent communicator who keeps you informed at all times. He discusses all relevant factors about your case, gives you alternatives, and provides advice in making the best decision to your case. In our family experience, we have gone through three -(3) Lawyers, but we were not satisfied with their work we requested. We needed a legalized Will written to assure others won't have the ability to take away assets and properties that the deceased will leave to the appointed person/caretaker. But each Laywer we went to and paid to write the Will, were not exactly how we explained to them and therefore the Will needed to be rewritten. Instead of having the same Lawyer to redo the Will, we seek another Lawyer. A friend recommended Mr. Richard Sakoda. We met with him, asked questions and he were straight-forward with his answers. We told him our situation and what we wanted done. He immediately commenced working on the issue that we wanted fixed of which previous Lawyers we went to did not do unless we paid additional fee. Mr. Sakoda accomplished the Will the way we exactly wanted it to be done and completed it in a timely manner. We are now releived that no one; especially other family members, will not be able to intrude and be disruptive in making every effort to take-away or be a part owner of properties and assets that the deceased leave behind to the appointed person. Mr. Sakoda is a good listener with unique combination of intuitive and analytical abilities. I highly recommend Mr. Sakoda to any person seeking assistance in writting a legalized Will as he is a professional and one of the best Lawyers that provides satisfaction guarantee to his clients.

Christopher Dang was a godsend to us. We were in need of a major overhaul and update of our estate planning which included the creation of a new trust and the unraveling and simplification of a complex history surrounding a property deed. We found in Chris an experienced and astute estate attorney who listened attentively and compassionately to our situation and responded on point with options and recommendations that would meet our needs. Jennifer did a great job explaining my rights and things I was giving up when signing a prenup. She gave examples on what it could mean for me, and also showed me how the law in Hawaii actually works. As a non-US citizen it was really helpful to understand how everything works, and really glad that Jennifer simplified everything for me. I would call her a modern day lawyer that uses both a business and personal approach to keep you as client very comfortable but at the same time well informed. I consulted Jennifer for preparation of a somewhat unconventional estate plan with some forwardlooking aspects of administration risks. Jennifer grasped the concept immediaely and she and I worked out appropriate language. She delivered timely and even provided a witness to my will--another lawyer. She did this for about a thousand dollars less than her estimate. I would highly recommend Mr. Pagliarini as being extremely trustworthy, knowledgeable, informative and efficient. I have recommended him to all of my friends and family for over 20 years and will continue to do so. He treats you like a person and not a number. A few years ago, I was rear ended in a motor vehicle accident which hurt my neck, shoulders and back. Unfortunately, my insurance company was the same as the driver that hit me. The company almost immediately sent in my records for an "independent" medical review and promptly denied any further medical treatment. I was in a lot of pain and was not able to fully function in my work duties and still needed medical treatment. I was so relieved that Mr. Pagliarini was able to assist me with my case.
