In thinking about Tom Burke, the three words that come to mind are integrity, character and brilliance. I am in the Construction Industry and had been trying to receive payment from a customer for over 15 months. My lawyer at the time had yet to accomplish anything, so I finally made the decision to switch my representation. In under four months, Tom Burke was able to accomplish what no one else had been able to; he pushed the opposing council to avoid further delays, he kept the matter from going to court, he got us a very generous settlement, and he even went so far as to go to Kane County to pick up the check for us.

Tom Burke represented us with success in a dispute with an investment counselor. More than anything else, he was responsive and reactive to our information, asked questions on a need to know basis and kept us informed with developments. He was candid with his assessment of our posture, creative in his prosecution of our claim and persistent in his settlement posture. I am a lawyer, and I enjoyed working with Tom and appreciated his regard for my suggestions. We were far more financially benefited by his representation (resulting in more than a $1M recovery) than with other attorneys we consulted with who estimated the value of our claim at less than 10% of the settlement Tom Burke achieved. If you want an attorney that actually knows how to communicate, be sure to hire Alex Ranjha. I have dealt with many attorneys over the years and none of them were as attentive, honest, easy to talk to, and responsive as Alex. Ranjha Law Group is located in Oak Brook (just across from the mall), but they actually cover Chicago and the suburbs including Cook and DuPage county and I'm pretty sure other counties as well.
I recently sold my house and Alex represented me for a flat fee. There were no hidden costs and no additional fees for every time I would call him to ask a question. It was very comforting to know that I could call and ask him a question and not be additionally charged for it.
From what I have seen from friends and family, real estate closings can be quite the headache. Not only did Alex make sure everything went smoothly, he actually foresaw a few potential problems that allowed us to act accordingly. Alex focused on MY best interest; NOT whatever gets the deal done the quickest. I would not hesitate to hire Alex again, and in fact referred him to a friend who is filing bankruptcy (Alex practices bankruptcy law as well).

I found the Springer Law Firm on line and called them up. I was able to have questions resolved over the phone.
After meeting with Mr Springer I was told of my options and was not pressured into anything. The consultation was free even though I didn't file.
I had checked out other firms and was surprised to find out how much they charged. I even asked him how much it would be before I chose to not file. He had told my the price and I was surprised at how much less it would have been to go through him.
I highly recommend this firm! They are the most affordable, with the highest quality of work (at least what I experienced). They were always responsive and proved to be knowledgeable. I hate to think how much I could have paid if I was convinced to file with another law firm. It's nice to know there are people out there that don't try to take advantage of you.

I will keep this as brief as possible. My injuries were so devastating and life changing that I wanted nothing more than to forget about them. This "forgetting" included attempting to ignore any and all aspects of my case. To be honest, I would have quit my case just to be left alone and to be able to move on with my life. It didn't help that, in typical fashion, the defense had done everything in their power for years to blame the accident on me. After years of this and refusing to settle, the case finally went to trial in early 2013. If I remember correctly, it took a couple days of jury selection and on a Thursday or Friday Sean made his opening arguments and began examining expert witnesses. Long story short, when the weekend was over and we came back to court on Monday, the defense was ready to settle! It took a couple days of Sean putting witnesses on the stand for the defense to come to their senses. My life has changed dramatically since then...and for the better this time. To reiterate, I wanted nothing to do with this case for years and IT WAS MY CASE! Sean worked tirelessly for me and my life and I was THE most difficult client to work for. He never quit even when I wanted to. To this day I don not believe I would have won my case with anyone else fighting for me. These days I consider Sean one of my very good friends and I am endlessly thankful for his support.

I usually don’t write reviews for people, but I had to in this circumstance. Eryk basically saved me from huge consequences and from the inability to make a livelihood for my family. I made a lot of mistakes and ended up picking up multiple driving under the influence cases where my drivers license was suspended for a long time. Eryk successfully fought these cases and allowed me to get my drivers license back so I can continue driving professionally and supporting my family. He was great, patient and well worth the money. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in trouble and anyone who is facing stiff consequences for mistakes that they made, like I did. I hope to never have to need him again but I owe him a great debt of gratitude.

I could not be any happier or any more satisfied with my visit/consultation with John Martoccio. John had an answer for all of my inquiries. And the 1 or 2 items that he was unsure of, he made sure to follow up with me after doing research on my questions the following day.
This office is located in the heart of downtown Hinsdale and has a very inviting feel and atmosphere. John's paralegal, Racine, greeted me as I walked in and John was out of his office to shake my hand within a minute. I never felt rushed, nor did John make me feel like he was pressed for time or that he had more important matters to tend to, although I know how busy he is.
John made sure to provide me with all forms on contact information for himself and his office in case I had any further questions or inquires. John always makes himself available and truly devotes all his attention to you when you are in need of council.
I highly recommend this law office and I greatly appreciate the attention and guidance that John Martoccio provided me.

I have found myself twice in post-divorce issues regarding child support. At least for me they were both very difficult, frustrating and stressful times as I believed both parties were capable of resolving all matters amicably outside of a courtroom. I have worked with John Martoccio, Ross P. Schreiter, Beverly Ecton Strasser, and Racine Lambert-Cwerenz over the past several years. Each has provided me with the highest integrity, ethics and professionalism in their effort to help me navigate my personal legal needs.
During my most recent circumstance, however, I received word late on a Wednesday afternoon, before a scheduled Monday morning court appearance, that the Respondent wanted to resolve matters without making a court appearance. This eleventh-hour request sounded great, but put a huge amount of responsibility on the shoulders of Beverly Ecton Strasser.
Beverly did not hesitate to take command of the situation to reach a positive resolution by the Friday afternoon deadline we not had. Jay Dahlin assisted me in a high-conflict divorce and served as my counsel through custody and marital settlement. He was calm, thoughtful and worked to guide the process in a reasonable manner within the guidelines of Illinois law. He was skilled at negotiation and using mediation effectively, in spite of the often extreme positions adopted by opposing counsel. We ultimately negotiated an outcome that was closer to my position than the other side's. I attribute Jay's patient, careful work on the case as a key factor to the outcome. While I would never wish divorce upon anyone, I would not hesitate to recommend Jay and his firm to someone going through a divorce.

Mr Dunn is a GREAT attorney. He is patient and very straight forward. I went in and had an unachievable goal for my custody case and he stopped me and told me exactly what I should be asking for and explained WHY. He didn't treat me like I was dumb or ridiculous, just that my idea was not rational. He got me exactly what he told me he would. The minute you meet him you respect him. His paralegal Dina is also extremely helpful. She doesn't have the same way with words as Mr Dunn but she does her job and does it right. (Sorry Dina if you read this) There are several other people who answer the phone and greet you at the office who are also pleasant and sweet. I know my case was by far not their biggest financially, but they treated me like it was. I hope I never have to see Mr Dunn again, but if I do I hope he is still available.

I finally got to entering my review of my experience with Mr. Dunn. Divorce is never fun, so I have taken time to separate myself from the experience before writing my thoughts. In summary, if you are going to hire a lawyer, then you won't go wrong by hiring Mr. Dunn and, i will guess, you wont find a better one.
My first experience with Mr. Dunn was when he represented my now wife in her divorce. She faced alot of intimidation and bullying as she started her divorce from her ex and his cult-like family. Jeff helped to steady her and, through his knowledge and expertise and personality, helped her to gain confidence and strength in this process. It was enjoyable to observe him work against the other party and she reports that his courtroom demeanor is steady and confident.
My second experience was in my postdecree case against my ex-wife for cohabitation. His approach of confidence and knowledge helped me to have my maintenance payments stopped. She and her party wanted to settle instead of court, so I missed out on watching him in action.
Im not sure that the above words do justice to his abilities.
Its not likely you will find a more knowledgable attorney.
If he doesnt know it, he will tell you and seeek the answer.
He is a straight shooter; if you dont want that approach then you should seek another attorney, or better yet, change your own approach
His personality is friendly and welcoming - we all want that.
He is confident - also a must - and dont confuse it with cockiness, thats not him
I have since sent a best friend to Jeff and he, who is better prepared and knowledgable than myself, is very satisfied at this time with the service Jeff is providing him in his postdecree issues.
Bottom line, both myself and my wife will continue to have Mr. Dunn represent us as we, for certain, deal with postdecree issues and our ex-spouses.

When the mortgage on my rental property was transferred to Nationstar and they failed to consistently send me a printed monthly statement; despite numerous request. I contacted attorney Coleman when I attempted to pay off the loan and discovered that Nationstar had re-applied all fees and charges applied to my account, which had been previously remove; when I explained my need for a printed statement, for accounting purposes; that I would not pay the bill online due their absorbent fees and that I would not be held responsible for fees associated with their failure to send me a printed statement as I had not opted into their digital services agreement.
Attorney Coleman, took over full communication with Nationstar and expeditiously, had all fees removed from my account and all marks against my credit removed based on Nationstar’s faulty business practices. I was very pleased with attorney Coleman’s results. I will definitely, consult his legal service in the future, if the need arises

During the bank fraud forclosures in 2010.
