We retained Ms. Demos in the context of a foster adoption proceeding. She came alongside our family during a legally (and emotionally) precipitous time. 2015 I was a single mom going through a horrific divorce . I wasn’t getting anywhere with my previous lawyer and fired that non experienced lawyer and contacted Hunt Hassler Miller law firm. I spoke with a nice paralegal named Jolyn. She gave a brief description of each lawyer in office . Caitlin Miller description stood out to me. She explained kindly Caitlin’s protocols and I knew she would be the one I would want to interview for my case . After meeting with Caitlin, I instantly hired her . She was so understanding and I could tell she personally cared about my situation and most importantly that office treated me like family. She is very detailed , thorough , and she listens . She knew how important my kids meant to me and keeping them safe . She did exactly that! She kept us safe ! I hired Jill after having my first consultation with her, to help me get through my divorce. I knew that my ex would try to run me over in court and as a male I was going to be in for the fight of my life. Jill was very understanding and so helpful throughout the fight. She helped me keep my time with my kids and helped me to get what I was deserved but being denied by my ex. After the divorce was final my ex made my life even harder and put my children in a situation that was even more dangerous, so I hired Jill again to help with the custody battle. Anna May Howard is a most personable Elder Law attorney who looked after her clients well. She does not speak in legalese and takes the needed time to explain various actions that can be taken (with the pros and cons to consider) in making decisions we felt were right for our mother's situation.

I was impressed from the start, and throughout the pending matter. Matt asked very direct questions and got to the bottom of a complicated issue fast, and prepared a responding motion quickly. He and Adam worked well together and caught several discrepancies in the opposing legal filing which proved it was false. He presented my case concisely before the judge. Very professional. Matt represented me regarding contempt charges against my ex for his refusal to follow the conditions of the divorce decree and turn over assets to me. Complicated and difficult case and I am so very thankful he was on my side representing me. He argued on my behalf so brilliantly and fiercely that my friends who attended the hearing to support me told me afterward how impressed they were with his tenacity, skill, and knowledge. He stood up for me and did not let the opposing attorney get away with a single one of his attempts to twist the truth. Cannot praise Matt and his firm highly enough! I could not have endured the very long and extremely contentious hearing without Matt on my side fighting for me. I don't know how he could argue so well for so long (2 hours!) without making a mistake or showing emotion with what the opposing attorney was claiming, but he did. So instead of feeling completely stressed, I was able to sit back, relax, and let him handle it all. I feel If had hired a lawyer from another firm, I truly would have been in trouble. My husband and I went to 4 attorney's outside of Grant Co. and no one seemed to understand what we were going through.. I desperately posted on a FB group about needing an attorney experienced in the type of child custody issue such as ours and it so happened his staff commented with information, I called and set an appt., 1st thing Todd doesn't bullshit he tells you if he can take your case or not, he tells you what you need to move forward without rushing you out the door... my husband and I were trying to obtain custody of his then 5 year old son due to allegations brought to us of abuse and neglect, Todd and his staff explained to us we needed the solid evidence not just he said she said... it took me almost 1 year to obtain everything needed and during that time we had to of visited the office 4-5 times for consults Todd never charged us for. He always gave us advice and we moved forward with that until we were able to gather everything we needed, once the case was on its way to the courts Todd Glickfield and his office worked with us on payments for his service never forcing an astronomical amount on us! Every step of the way he was with us in a professional and supportive manner. February of 2017 thanks to the guidance and advice from Todd Glickfield as well as support from his staff my husband was able to drive to go pick up his son whom he hadn't seen since 2014, March of 2017 thanks to hard work of attorney Todd Glickfield we were granted full custody with no restrictions... sometimes I think people are more offended that they are spoken to in a matter of fact instead of being bowed down too, I am very grateful for the no bs, no sale, not being treated like just another buck from Todd's office! if it wasn't for his amazing work and advice we wouldn't have our son, I recommend his expertise 110% but just keep in mind... don't go in there expecting a butt kissing because you think you have a case haha lol sit and listen! its worth it in the end!

So happy to be able to check "get new wills" off the "to do" list. My husband and I had wills drawn up about 30 years ago when the kids we young (and we were too!). Needless to say many things have changed since then I knew the old wills were outdated but never seemed to get around to doing anything about it. A quick email to Mr. Schwemmer changed all that. Drafting, and filing the new documents, was easy and painless with with his guidance.

I've known Mr. Schwemmer since 2008. I've always regarded him as a very knowledgeable, and kind person. I was always welcome to ask him questions.
In late December, I was leaving my job. The day I told my boss when my last day was, my boss told me that I had to pay a fine, and lawyer bill from an incident that I had caused. I panicked. I did not make enough to be able to pay such money, and I didn't have anything saved up. After communicating with my family, I was told I should make sure I was legally obligated to do so, just in case.
I turned to Mr. Schwemmer for advice. I didn't know who else to turn to. I'm glad I talked to him. He was very attentive to my situation, and asked a lot of questions. He knew to get all the facts first. He was quick, and informative. He helped me even when it wasn't in his area of expertise. He made sure to cross-reference his information, and he gave me quotes of the information for my own use.
What impressed me most was that he helped me even though he knew we would not gain anything from it, other than my deepest thanks.

After I suffered a significant change in my income I went and met with Attorney Schmidgall regarding filing for bankruptcy. I was nervous at the thought of having to file for bankruptcy but after speaking with him I felt relief. He explained that I would be able to get a fresh start. Chris, in all my dealings with him has been responsive to any questions I have ask, even when referring me to someone else when I need help with a problem outside his state . His Follow up is excellent in showing interest even in projects he has advised me to send to another attorney . Chris Schmidgall handled my expungement and sealing cases in Indiana relating to charges that were either dropped or dismissed by the Court. While several other attorneys would not even call me back, Chris immediately stepped in and took initiative to help me and my family out. Specifically, he thoroughly investigated all the legal elements of my case and frequently consulted with his legal assistants on the matter to prepare the best motions and petitions possible. To say it simply, his legal motions are excellent and he strongly argues the law. John was incredibly easy to work with. He was able to explain the matter of my case in great detail while noting all possible options and outcomes, including a reduction of my conviction from a Level 6 Felony to a Class A Misdemeanor. What John Barrett did for me is barely something I can describe in a small review box to be frank. I went to him in somewhat of a frantic and panic state and needed help and thats exactly what he did. We filed for modification of custody for my daughter in a case that legally seemed impossible but for my daughter and I was the most important thing in the world and Mr. Barrett realized and never gave up on us.
