Joseph Bante is in a very nice office but he is the most incompetent AWFUL lawyer who will NOT fight for you but will make you think and feel that he is. He is friends with all the lawyers and judges and will screw you over even after you fire him and obtain different counsel.
He stutters and it takes him way too long to compose a thought in his mind. He is not eloquent or articulate; it’s atrocious to hear him speak. He will over bill you and then destroy your chances at whatever it is you’re fighting for.

I used him back in 2019 has a lawyer for a divorce and he failed. He didn’t even fight for me and found out he was good friends with my ex wife’s lawyer. She got the house and the car and cleaned out my bank account. I had to try to fight for myself and it didn’t work. I’ve always was a better person then my ex. She never took care of the kids and I only slept for 5-6 hours a week. And now I’m taking him, my ex wife’s laywer and the judges to federal court. And my new lawyers told me that they let my ex wife lie on her Financials what do you need more money to me but may look like she made hardly anything

BEWARE!!!
This attorney pursued me for months via Facebook.
I stated I had hired an attorney, yet he continued.
It's a very emotional family case and he promised to do much more than the current attorney.
He convinced me to fire my current attorney, that he would retrieve my case file, and the money from the attorney if I hired him. Completely took advantage of me and baited me.
He told me to come talk to him in his office...free consultation. Now stated weeks ago that he is charging me for 6 hours, which was not over 3 total...and that was only two meetings that he requested for me to come talk to him in person instead of messaging. This was prior to hiring him...I was not sure if I wanted to fire my attorney and hire him...he stated he wouldnt know what he could do unless he got the case file. He convinced me to sign his paperwork and give him the retainer before he could get the file...and agreed he would return retainer if I decided to settle out of court. I had not been able to even look at my case file!
This attorney disappeared since receiving the retainer, refuses to return my case file--holding it hostage and also will not return my retainer.
The only thing I authorized for him to do (which he agreed) was get the case file and we would meet again to discuss what were my options. Which he became completely unavailable...then fired me!! This was weeks ago...still will not return case file or retainer or messages.
BEWARE.
I certainly hope the bar association can help me and any others before this attorney does this to anyone else. Still waiting for the process.

Zero stars is a true rating. Total lack of honesty and any form of integrity. Tom constantly lied to me and failed to file mandatory and requested documents to stretch my case out. He is incompetent as a family lawyer and unethical to the tenth degree and anyone wanting a family lawyer should never consider Tom Rolwing. 1500 dollars up front then 400 per month took her 3 months to draft a petition in my family court case and why not? I was still paying her. Finally signed the petition which took another 2 months to file with the court, again still paying 400 bucks a month. After the first court appearance (which she was late for) could not get a return email or phone call from the office unless it was to collect payment. Finally got sick of her and hired new counsel that actually helped me. I have now been waiting a year for an itemized bill (was never provided one the entire time she was my attorney) and refund of any over payment. Hire with extreme caution!

I hired this woman in July 2016 for a divorce. I haven't heard from her since October 2016 even though I have called her multiple times. Personalized service My ass don't hire her if you actually want to know what is going on while still making monthly payments which by the way Anissa started taking monthly payments from my bank account without permission!! Hire at your own risk cheap definitely isn't better!

I did not hire Ms/ Spezia nor would I ever, but she represented a previous family member who was a liar and a criminal. This destroyed our family and allowed the criminal to falsely obtain the family home and possessions after mentally , phsically, and abused our elderly mother with dementia. I don't understand how anyone can represent someone knowing that said someone is a liar and criminal. I never will.

Grace Spezia is a very sad excuse for an attorney. I don't know what she does but she takes money from families who have had the loss of a dear loved one, says she has drawn up the proper papers for transfer of deed and also said it was filed with the courts, three...yes...three years later we can't reach her, she won't return calls and the deed is still in our deceased loved ones name instead of the person it was left to. You should be ashamed to call yourself an attorney. We have taxes piling up, a deed in limbo and no money to pay someone else to handle this. This lady should be disbarred!

Hired MR. Briggs for a criminal case which was a huge mistake since it wasn't his best part.
here is how it went.
1- explained the case.
2- Asked for the fees and was hired.
3- he talked highly of how he's going to win the case and what his plan is and I went home with the idea " he's the best in town'
4- got to court case gets pushed and pushed and pushed.
5- gave him every shred of evidence to have the case dismissed and cleared. but no I was wrong.
Communications is really bad. you won't hear him him Period.
shows up late for court and you have no idea what's been said and done.
Now MR. Briggs offers you to go ahead and take a plea and that's how it will go.
you ask him what have he done so far guess what ? No Answer

what going to happen ? no response

In my experience with this attorney and in my opinion, Mr. Briggs's legal advice was horrible for me and I thought his representation in court was even worse. I hired him for a divorce case and he threw me under the bus, I felt, and made a pathetic attempt at negotiating in my best interests. He never fully went over everything with me and he rarely communicated with me. He failed at forwarding documentation to me that was vital for the case. It felt like he was just wanting to get everything over with, regardless of what happened with me, so he could take his money and run. I would not recommend him for anyone.

My atti attorney told me that I was going to lose my kids on the first court date when nothing has even happened yet he also didn't show up on time never called me and informed me of anything that was going on and was not worried about what I wanted the outcome to be but him to just have this case over with flirting with the other lawyer across the table and Court talking to me for one one minute to two minutes right before the court day and definitely not refer him

Bruce Wurmerser is an attorney I would strongly recommend NEVER using, he had taken a substantial amount of money never filed a complaint, withdrew never filing a motion (as he never filed that case) and stopped returning all calls.
Attorney Bruce Wurmser had agreed to take a case regarding the City of St. Louis. He was paid a $10,000 retainer and given monthly payments totaling $19,000. He assured me that a case was going to be filed, in November of 2012. He drafted a one page complaint for inverse condemnation, but never in fact filed it. He did minimal research, and never filed a case. He then voluntarily withdrew stating a monthly payment was missed. He did not withdraw through a court order, because there was never a case filed. He took the money did not put in any work never filed a case than abruptly withdrew essentially without any accounting on the monies paid to him.
He withdrew with no notice without handing over any of the files, and did not call the client. He claimed his withdrawal was for not paying a $3,000 monthly fee, which he never verified the hours worked on the case to indicate that he had exhausted initial retainer. Time and again Mr. Wurmser was implored to file even a basic complaint that could have been supplemented, but this was never done. He claimed he had spent many hours researching and meeting with other attorneys but I have in-house counsel that had conducted much of the research. He continually misrepresented work completed on the case. He never offered up the remaining client funds back to client, and did not file as instructed. We received little to no services for the over $19,000 paid to Mr. Wurmser and will be taking further legal action, and believe that further disciplinary action must be taken, as numerous professional rules of conduct were violated by Mr. Wurmser
Submitted along with this complaint is a history of all email communications with Mr. Wurmser, and thoughout you will see that no case was ever filed. Rather it was indicative of his lack of work. He continually represented that he would try and take meetings with opposing counsel, or with previous attorneys, and he never in fact did so after speaking to previous attorneys’. He gave no notice of withdrawal, rather sent letter saying he was withdrawing, and then withdrew, without so much as a phone call. Again do not use Bruce Wurmser as he has caused us to lose much time and money in prosecuting our case, without ever filing even a basic complaint.

I hired David on November 13, 2012 for a traffic ticket going 60 in a 45. I met with David he said he could get my ticket reduced for a total of $300.00, he was hired and paid with check number 3388. About four months later I was contacted and told I had a warrent for this ticket. I paid the ticket again to the court after not being able to contact David. Now I am out around $600.00 and can not get David to return my call. The web site I am not able to bring up either. I do have a copy of my receipt from David. WHAT THE ????????????

I hired brandy for a case involving my children. She is nice at first but before you know it (after she gets paid) she hardly ever responded to any of my texts, e-mails or phone calls! Half the time she wouldn't even show up to a scheduled appointment and when she did she was always always late! She didn't show up for court at least 5 times and it was important hearings that put my kids and I on a very thin line with not saying a word to me or other clients Brandy is untrustworthy and will fail you! A 5 year old could do a better job then her! She is soooo full of excuses and would never just shut up and listen to me! Brandy decided to re locate with no communication to me and along with other clients saying what she was doing! I am far from the only one who feels this way! Brandy is selfish and has no place being a attorney at law or anything important! I'm in the process of having her disbarred (which she has once already been) She acts like she's cares but drops off the face of the earth! She (how I feel) stole my money and never did her job.. Not even a little bit! I will stop at nothing to make sure everyone knows how she is! Brandy also drinks a lot or taking one of her many meds she told me about.. even durning court and while in office! She is a disgrace! I am normally loving and easy going but when my kids are at stake my gloves come off!

I hired Larry Bagsby for an employment - wrongful termination matter. He signed me up on a contingency (1/3) basis. It took pokes and prods to get him to move on my case. I terminated him. I later found out and received written proof, the lawyer from the other side made several attempts to contact Larry - fax, office phone and cell. Needless to say my case was resolved by another attorney.

Roommate best me up I got MS. pace she got my order of protection dropped, and didn't ask the court for an officer to stand in while roommate moved and so the roommate decided to cause more damage and stolen some of my belongings. My family hired this attorney to manage the probate for my mother's estate, since she left no will. We were told since it was such a small estate (less than $40K), that it would only take 6 months to finalize everything.
It is now 15 months later and the estate still is not settled. The attorney has had to file motions multiple times because of errors in her filing, she won't communicate with us for weeks on end and has no real explanation as to why the process is still dragging on. We don't believe she has ever done probate before, but it would have been nice to know that at the beginning, so we could have hired someone knowledgeable.

I made an appointment several weeks ago, and the day before my appointment called their office to verify my appointment was for 9 a.m. I don't typically make appointments that far away that early in the morning. I was told my appointment was correct for 9 a.m. So, I left my house at 7:30 a.m. drove mountainous roads through the fog and nearly had a wreck twice. Arriving about 20 minutes early I checked in with the receptionist. She told me that my appointment wasn't until 10. Without raising my voice, I asked her to verify this. When she persisted, I told her that I was there early, that I had called to verify, and that I expected to be seen by Mr. Finkenbinder. He then came out apologized and said this wasn't a "good omen," and that he declined to represent me. Who does business like this?"

I was going through a divorce from a lawyer and I'd heard that she was very persistant; which I believed I needed at the time. She wasted no time getting to the heart of my suffering in the marriage, but offered little information for when the divorce would be final or what was to gain by focasing so much on his character flaws. I eventually fired her for lack of communication and had to call dozens of times to find out what I still owed her. Finally I was sent a bill for over $6000, including fees for writing up the bill. My current lawyer advised me to call her bluff and not pay the bill; thinking she would not want a complaint against her. She took me to court and did her best to trash me in the process by discussing private information about our marriage- though that had nothing to do with the bill. The judge ruled that I was still responsible for about half the amount, which I have paid. I am also filing a complaint against her through the bar.

Ever had a good attorney? Now imagine the complete opposite & you have Chris Roher. In fact, you will not find a good review for the man. (If you do, his wife wrote it). To be fair, he did take my case on short notice. (I'm confident he could take yours today!) I have given lengthy, detailed reviews of Mr. Roher in the past, only to see them taken down. I'm not sure how he accomplishes it, but I'll at least give you the crux.. Unprofessional..man reeked of alcohol every time I was in the office. Seems to be more interested in fitting in with the other attorneys than representing his client. Kept 2k of a 5k retainer despite an agreement to refund if certain objectives were not accomplished.) Failed to inform me of a procedure that would have saved me thousands. (I'm not positive that he even knew of it before time expired.) Just absolutely the worst representation I've had or witnessed.

I asked "Matt" to work on two debt cases. I paid up front what he asked. In the first case, he missed the court date, and a default judgment was issued against me. When I notified him of this (he never noticed), he had the judgment set aside.
In the second case, he missed 5 court dates, finally the judge declared me in default because my attorney never showed up. When I found this out, he dragged out his responses over five months, and then let me know that he would like to withdraw from my case and had no interest in trying to get the judgment set aside.

Ronald Nguyen took advantage of me when I visited his office for only a few hours. He assured me he could handle my case and provide everything needed to complete it. I believed his lie and agreed to let him handle my case and signed a contract to let him handle the case. The next time we met he demanded $2,000 up front and had completely changed personality also completely chainging what he assured me initally basically telling me my case was dead in the water and he could not assure what he initally did. I quickly made it clear I didn't want to pursue this any further and he still demanded thousands of dollars for 0 work done. He did not provide me any helpful documents or consultation that was benefical to my case. After my case is resolved I will be filing the appropiate charges against Ronald Nguyen.

I would like to think it was simple distraction of personal issues at the time.. yet conflict of interest after filing complaint for failure of services and award of costs returned to client.
There will never be repair of damage or further harm which occurred and no lawsuit has been filed to recover damages. He does quite well upon his own personal case which shows he can succeed in criminal cases.
Our conflict involved a baby mama of mine who personal friends with him and wife.. maybe neither of us was aware, I will leave it at that..

Worst experience in my life. Malaine did not look out for our best interest in a family law case nor the children. I am starting all over after retaining her and now have a new firm to clean up the mess and do all that she refused to. A lot of money went to accomplish nothing as well as continuous threats when I questioned as to why something was done. Good luck if you have retained her. I was told that the first month and regret not listening and cutting my loss early on. I am hoping this will help the next parent do the same.

My lawyer only extended and made matters worse. She never answered calls and never showed when she should have. She never got back to anyone. She speaks to people very profanely and claims its just being straight forward. She promises things and then turns it around. She is inconsistent and likes to belittle and insult people. Telling people they are worthless and calling profanities is not the job of a respectable lawyer. She caused me to lose my children when she was supposed to be helping due to neglect of my case. Very disrespectful and tactless. Not prompt either and breaks commitments and promises. I would not recommend her.

Mr. Ingold does not communicate. He doesn't respond by telephone or email and is irritated when asked for details regarding the process. Because of this, I can't rate his level of knowledge. He has yet to demonstrate what level of expertise he possesses. His unprofessionalism and lack of communication lead us to feel he is not trustworthy.
