Capitol Immigration made the incredible stressful visa process amazingly easy. They were incredibly organized, helpful, and responsive. All of my emails and questions were answered within 24 hours (and usually less) and they were always willing to answer all of my questions. Dimo and team helped me with my OPT, H1B (which I got in the first try), multiple H1B transfers, and eventually my green card. All with great success. David has represented my company for more than 15 years. We can always count on him to be there with a cool head and excellent legal advice. He has helped us with everything from updating or creating our contracts, collecting old debt, partnership agreements, contract disputes or sometimes just a well-worded letter to help move a stick in the mud. One thing I can say about Mr. Hotes, he is always on your side the way it is needed. If we ask for fire and brimstone he will be there, if we need him to help nudge a friend, he will be there. If we need a contract to say what needs to be said but with a delicate touch, he is your attorney. I sleep well at night for two reasons, I have excellent insurance and Dave Hotes.

It could have been a timing issue, but it took 10 days and three attempts to finally connect. The day before we were to finally speak, I retained someone else who I was spoke with and had a connection. He did offer a hour consultation pro-bono, which was a nice touch, but I had retained someone already.

I needed assistance with navigating the purchase of a business I was helping to build. The case had a lot of unusual circumstances, and David expertly structured the deal so that we got what we wanted. He also helped to advise on the right things to say or not say as we closed the deal. When my workplace closed on March 17th due to the COVID-19, we had to telework by going on Zoom. We were teleworking everyday until, two weeks ago, our director sent us on furlough. A couple days later after my director received the PPP grant, they never gave us a clear explanation that all employees had to be back on the payroll. One of the roles for a good director is strong communication skills. In fact the director never told us the consequences of continuing on unemployment once they had received the loan.
This week I spoke to Mrs. Valle to get advice on whether I should continue receiving unemployment or resume on Zoom. She saved me from getting into trouble with unemployment after she gave me legal advice! Mrs. Valle is efficient and gets the job done promptly! I highly recommend her to my friends and family!

Pawnee Davis is an amazing family lawyer, I highly recommend her and if I ever need a lawyer again in md/dc I will definitely be contacting her again. she helped me gather all my paperwork together that I needed for my case… my case was on paternity and she was able to get my case dismiss in less than 10 mins. Lynette is an excellent attorney. She's pragmatic and knowledgeable, but perhaps her best characteristic, is that she's an excellent judge of character. It shocked me how often she would predict the other party's next move.
I credit Lynette with making sense of the complex situation I was in, keeping me calm, and also giving me the insights and clarity I needed to frame what success would look like. This was important, because my case ultimately settled outside of court, during the tense days leading up to the court date.
During the process, Lynette accompanied me to hearings and waited outside during mediation. She read emails and text messages, and also helped me craft responses. I have taken these lessons on communicating with the other party forward into my future, to ensure that my communications are clear and emotionless.
If you're going to hire a lawyer to get things done and counsel you through the process, hire Lynette.

He was asking the Agency EEO questions like he had no real experience in this area. Took my $4,000 and it didn’t appear he did anything on my case. When it was time to do my rebuttal, he dropped my case saying he had medical emergency. I scuffled to find new attorney. It’s time for me to settle and he still has not given me invoice to provide to the Agency after multiple requests.

We had a time-share that we could not sell or release back to the company. We hired Tim and he worked miracles. He got us out of our contract within 6 months and for a really nice price. We owed over $12K and he was able to negotiate the price down to $1K. I would recommend him to all of friends and family to accomplish any task. If he could do the unattainable for the release of a time-share I cannot imagine what he could do for other peoples legal problems.

Beautiful interior, just steps from the Bethesda Metro Station. There are bathrooms, but keep in mind this is a workplace, so they are not public; you need a code to use the bathroom.

Micah has been my attorney for a number of years. He has always been respectful. thoughtful and above all, honest. That is what I look for in any business relationship. That shows me that he is not " all about the money". Micah represented me in an employment case and it took a very long time. He never gave up at any time. I did work with other attorneys in his firm however, that is what it is about in a team environment. God forbid should anything happen along the way. I think it is a great idea to include others. Everyone can then be on the same page. I also went to him with a family estate issue as well as a medical billing and coding problem. We can't always have our way but I will say this, I can be sure I will understand what the law says about matters that I bring to him especially if there is nothing he can do to help. I will understand why. There was only one time when things did not go my way. But it was not because he did not try for me.
I have seen some of the other reviews that are, shall we say, less than glowing? I have to whole heartedly and respectfully disagree with those people. We cannot make everyone happy that is clear but I will say that I endorse Micah and his team. I will always turn to him for legal advice when I need it. I am grateful for his knowledge and expertise in the matters that I bring to him.

I would not recommend Micah Salb. He didn't return my phone calls, and I was constantly passed on to one of his junior associates who also wouldn't return my phone calls. Drafts of paperwork was scheduled to be sent to me by certain dates but it took multiple weeks to even receive an electronic copy. He only cares about the money and not really about the client.

I hired Micah Salb to deal with a family estate matter. After nine months with no resolution, I needed to seek other council.
It’s hard for him to listen to the client’s requests. He is arrogant and confrontational, while blaming the client for not cooperating with him.
He had to be pushed and prodded concerning updates on my case. Days and weeks would be go by without any emails from him.
His billing practices are extremely inefficient. My credit card company had to resolve a disputed bill.
