When I first met Ms. Salice, I was terrified, I felt so alone, afraid of what the future was going to hold. I was in a bad marriage, had recently been diagnosed with a health condition, and was in the beginning phases of my divorce. Without sharing too much detail, I shared a bit of my story with an online platform of a group of moms seeking advice. I have cried several times in gratitude thanking Ms. Salice for all the work that she has done and continues to do. Furthermore, the lawyers at Law Firm displayed a shocking level of incompetence. Their lack of expertise and knowledge was evident in every interaction. They failed to grasp even the most basic concepts of my case and offered misguided advice that ultimately led to disastrous outcomes. and got the job done fast and looked out for my interest , even after we settled he called to find out how I was doing . Told him that they hadn't paid the vouchers , he gave them a call and I recieved my check in less than a week . I highly recommend the Firm E&L LLP

Not only did I feel like I entered another world when I first met Elyse Margolin - I did enter another world. This firm was radically different. Elyse was my 3rd attorney in a very complicated contentious divorce. She completely understood the issues immediately, had no problem grasping the twists and turns and contortions that had been going on. She was kind, warm and supportive, quick, smart, effective. She and her staff jumped in full steam and were personally invested, determined not to let any of the many balls drop.
That was 12 years ago. I am forever grateful to have her as my attorney. My friends are always in awe when they hear how much she has done for me. Recently I contacted her to help me with defaulted support payments. Again, she quickly responded and worked tirelessly to find a solution to a very complex and unusual set of issues.
As a client, I felt cared for, listened to, understood. I appreciated that she was very clear, straightforward and honest about what we had to deal with. She had an unique ability to handle many things thrown at her at once and also to meticulously focus on very complicated aspects of legal procedures. If you are looking for traditional legal counsel, where every moment is calculated and you dare not send off yet another reminder email, for the cost of it— then I do not recommend this firm.
This firm is radically different. Elyse is simply cut from a different cloth.

I hired Alan after a recommendation from my old boss for a vandalism case in LA county due to me and my sisters ex boyfriend getting into a fight and me punching his glass-paned door window trying to hit him. I got a letter from the Van Nuys court house with the charges and gave that letter to Alan and he worked it out better then i planned by me just paying for the ex boyfriends insurance deductible and charges were dropped like they never even happened. Alan had my case handled quickly and very professionally. You might think hes intimidating but that works to his advantage in court but he is truely there for his clients hands down i should of never used another Attorney after using him big mistake. He is by far above and beyond the best Criminal defense attorney out there.

I had Alan Fenster as my hired attorney for my criminal case in Orange County. I had a case that was filed almost a year later and Alan didn’t forget and he would always contact me to remind me and he would let me know what would happen prior to my turn. I had multiple cases misdemeanors in different courts that he had gotten transferred to one court consolidating it with my felony case from a diff court. I was referred to him and I would not have changed my mind in my decision to appoint him as my attorney. He charges a flat rate once hearing your case details and once looking over the charges. He is sort of intimidating haha but he doesn’t deal with the little details in between and goes straight to the point with the evidence filed against me. He is very knowledgeable and experienced and honestly you can sense the professionalism as well as the comfortable and experienced demeanor he presents himself in court to feel a little relieved from the stressful and complications the case becomes. He is fully aware of what to expect and he is respected by others in the courtroom. He always considered my situation to prolong my case until after I gave birth And he kept the stressful headaches of the case feel like a load off my shoulders considering my case was filed months later. Saddie Johns sympathy feels put on and not genuine. We met at different times and it seems she cannot handle stress very well. Johns may be good with simple divorce proceedings, however when it comes to complex situations I would recommend going with someone else. She is good for filing excessive paperwork, but that comes with a hefty price tag. Overall, it was more talk and backdoor dealings with the opposing counsel. Good luck to anybody choosing her.

I highly and strongly recommend Ms. Johns to handle legal cases based on my experience of her super professionalism and unbelievable personal touch in handling my brother's divorce case. I have used Howard Z. Berman for many year's on corporate matters. He is very knowledgeable and effective. I first hired Howard a few years ago when he was working for Ervin, Cohen & Jessup in Beverly Hills. Their firm's prices were pretty high but Howard always did a good job. Then, Howard moved to another firm. I followed Howard all the way. He continues to draft contracts for me and work deals. In fact, I just used his services as recently as Jan. 2015. Great results and counsel he provided.! His rates are now reasonable compared to others.
