Olesia Boulaev and the Levine Law Firm represented me in a personal injury suit. Their contract was fair and clearly written. After I submitted my evidence electronically to the firm, Olesia filed the suit. We worked through emails and telephone calls. Their negotiations with the public agency and insurance company involved took a few months - no surprise during the middle of the Covid epidemic. They pushed hard for a fair settlement. I was pleased with the final offer and accepted the settlement. They notified all the related agencies and Medicare about the suit. They took care of all paperwork and filings. My story is probably nothing new and will sound very familiar. Phil and I met and married in Dallas. I worked during our marriage and my husband was the primary source of income with consideration to our lifestyle. I also helped with his financial problems early in our relationship, before and after marriage. I had more in savings, a steady job, and an A rating credit report. After three years of marriage he wanted to move back to Los Angeles, where he was working in the entertainment field, and restart his career that collapsed due to a substance abuse problem. With reluctance, I quit job and career path and moved from Dallas to Los Angeles for my husband’s career, which increased his income substantially. My career however faltered in Los Angeles and I had to start over again in a different field and work my way up. After 12 years of marriage we divorced.
Two years after the divorce was final, my ex came back requesting to stop support claiming health issues was causing him to work less. I contacted my original attorney and he could not take the case due to his workload and traveling and he sent me several referrals. After contacting all of them I felt confident with Jennifer Skolnick. She returned my calls, was communicative of the process and gave me realistic expectations of possible outcomes. She didn’t sugar coat the realities of court proceedings which I appreciated.
Part of the legal process required financial disclosure on both parties, and this is what scared me most. I was diligent about saving my money for the future and I thought a judge would side with my ex-husband and say that I didn’t need his support any longer. With a fine-tooth comb, Jennifer reviewed my financials and my ex-husband’s and determined that there were no significant changes in either of our income’s and he did not work less or make less since his visits to his doctor. But still noted that a judge will make the final decision. She then reviewed his medical reports and tests and found a statement buried in the reports that Phil admitted that he did not believe that his health was affecting his work and was able to work full time-even though he claimed his health was the reason he was requesting to stop spousal support. I believe it was Ms. Skolnick’s diligence in reviewing years of financials and medical reports that helped our case for spousal support to continue. In writing my declarations and memos of opposition Jennifer wrote with a logical and concise flow, had facts to back up statements of Phil’s financial stability, my contribution to my marriage, giving up my career for his, and his ability to continue to work and that his health improved with medication. There was no comparison with Ms. Skolnick’s declarations and memos of opposition and my ex’s attorney’s. My documents were factual and well written whereas his attorney had no facts to back up any of their grievances.
Ms. Skolnick’s attention to detail was valuable. She asked several questions about my marriage, asking about subjects and details I never thought would make a difference in defending my case. Her questions made me think about what I did for my husband financially before and during our marriage, where he was in his life before we met and when we met, our lifestyle habits, his spending habits and mine, and the responsibility of taking care of our home. It was an emotional 5 months of gathering documents and remembering the beginning, middle, and ending of a relationship but Ms. Skolnick was able to help and keep me on track with her “to do lists” for me that helped me get through this process.
Ms. Skolnick is an exemplary attorney and I would strongly recommend her.

I hired Jennifer Skolnick as my attorney for a divorce case in Los Angeles County, and she did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend her. My goal was to settle out-of-court, and Jennifer is very good creative suggestions to reach an out-of-court settlement. Jennifer writes beautifully, both brief and clear for the Judge: I could tell that the Judge had read and understood Jennifer's well written court documents submittals, and I believe that it clearly helped the ruling, especially in getting visitation with my daughter. She also never, ever over-billed on my case. I can certainly highly recommend Jennifer as an excellent Family Law attorney.

Working with Jamie is always a pleasure. He meticulously researches all situations and possible responses to the problem at hand and makes informed recommendations. He is quick to follow up and get answers to his client. He is also very likeable and trustworthy which creates an atmosphere of cooperation with all interested parties. Jamie looks for solutions that allow all participants to feel good about, ultimately.
Conversely, Jamie also is not afraid to take a harder stand, when necessary. He approaches legal action the way he approaches all of his activities, with calm and methodical reasoning.

Our city was about to dramatically increase the number of people in our area without providing adequate parking in the new buildings. The area property owners and residents would soon pay a big price for this and the problems would be permanent. We had already tried to appeal the City's decision to City Council but the Council completely ignored the many people who spoke at the hearing and wrote letters. The City has ignored some CEQA requirements but the City refused to listen or do anything about it. We had been trying to understand a huge bureaucratic mess that felt like quicksand. Before I spoke with Jamie, our group knew something was very wrong but didn't know how to fix it. Jamie took a huge burden off of our shoulders because he clearly understood CEQA and knew how to deal with our problem. Jamie guided us skillfully. He encouraged our questions, something that I've not typically seen with attorneys. He was very honest and focused on the best outcome for us. He took a mountain of messy, complex details and turned them into a case petition that was clearly written and easy to understand even for those unfamiliar with the situation. We had a good case to take to court so we were able to negotiate a settlement, saving us all a lot of time, work, and money. We feel very lucky that he worked on our case. We achieved the best possible outcome for relief to the parking problem in our area. Our group will continue to work toward solutions for the other parking issues. Jamie will certainly be the one we call when we need legal help.

I had couple of lawyers for different problems in my my life but no one helped me as much as Mr Ameli did, he was the best. He was there whenever I needed him. He was only one phone call away.
I just met him once at his office, but we were always in contact via email, and cellphone.
he handles the cases himself and as good as possible. ( He also has a really great assistant)
He is not one of those lawyers that take people to fantasy land to just get the case. He is trustworthy, helpful, and honest.
The first day, after Mr. Ameli heard about my case, he exactly said how my case was going to end up and sure enough 11 months later my case was closed with not only the same result as he told me the first day but better.
Long story short, he knows the law, he is good at it, and more important that he is a good man.

Not at all trustworthy. He told me to trust him with my case and after signing the contract, never returned my calls.
I had to switch to another attorney and fire him.
Not at all recommended for workers comp case.

Mr. Pollitt was on top of my case from the beginning. I reached out to Dr Kramer due to a google search for helping with Malpractice from Kaiser. While Dr Kramer did come across short and rough over the phone, and requested a 5-figure up front retainer, I wanted to vouch for him since I saw so many people complain about his initial phone call.
He is rough and direct. But that is what you want in an attorney. He’s also uniquely qualified since he has both an M.D. as well as a J.D. He got his law degree from Stanford. I called on Memorial Day, a holiday where most firms only let me leave a voicemail and never actually returned the call, and DR. Kramer answered the phone personally. I was requesting an ex parte motion be filed asap and despite the short notice, he was willing to get it done in less than two days filed with the court.
He may not be the cheapest attorney, but he’s direct and answers the phone or messages you back quickly. This is a rare thing in the legal industry.
Most attorneys will likely give you a lot of lip service. I actually prefer the direct to the point nature that Dr. Kramer gives. He doesn’t waste time.
So if you are very sensitive and need someone to be gentle with you over the phone for an initial meeting, he likely isn’t the person for you. If you want an aggressive, hard working attorney who is overqualified for his role and still willing to take smaller cases, then he is your man. As an experience finance expert who graduated from Harvard University, I can genuinely tell you that this is a rare trait to have from an attorney. Anyone would be lucky to have him represent their case.

In 2018 I was in a horrible auto accident and barely made it out alive. My car was totaled and I required a lot of medical attention. I was in bad shape. We wasted many years with this lawyer. She never answered our calls or emails. She or her assistant called only about money or payments! All work we done by ourselves. She didn't know anything about immigration law. She cannot answer to our questions, she didn't prepare our documents. It was horrible years with this "lawyer". She cares only about money. It was looks like she is some sort of scammer or fraudster who took your money and forget about your existence.
She also fabricated cases and proposed to fabricate cases for interview with USCIS. She used fraud practice and offer services that we don't need. Never ever pick this horrible attorney.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the expertise of Irina Lemberg, a brilliant lawyer, and her dedicated and supportive team. Despite being told by other lawyers in Los Angeles for the entirety of the 7 years I lived there that my case had no chance of success, Irina was the only one who believed in our chances and worked tirelessly to prove it. This is got to be the worst attorney I've ever had unsatisfaction to know. My husband hired him 3 years ago 3 years he sat here in pain doctors did not do nothing and he got $6,000 the lawyers got $13,000 the doctors got 4,000 workman's comp who did nothing didn't even give him they denied him got something and my husband got $6,000 what a crock!

I can't say enough about Sean Banafsheh & BD&J! Sean is the most intelligent, professional, friendly and caring attorney that I know. We met Sean about 4 1/2 years ago after our prior attorney forfeited our case. My family and I were involved in a trucking accident in Sacramento, California, wife suffered crushed discs on her lower spine. After meeting Sean he made us feel at ease about all the legal stuff and connected us with the best doctors in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills area. I'm so impressed by him and his firm. They really took care of business for us. I took a tumble and injured my back. I was referred to John Carpenter (and his Firm) by a reputable Expert Witness in Personal Injury. I telephoned on a Friday --- immediately after the accident --- and spoke with an "Intake Representative" named Marisol. I gave her the factual background and emailed photos of the accident site per her request. I was hoping to start medical treatment immediately since I was in pain. OVER A WEEK has gone by without ANY response. As of this writing I have still not heard from them! This afternoon I hired a different Attorney who met with me THE SAME DAY as my initial call to his Office and I am beginning Medical Treatment --- albeit delayed because of my unfortunate detour to Zuckerman, Don't Care and Rowley.

First and foremost, Mr. Wasieleski was an absolute pleasure to deal with and I could not be more thankful for the help that he gave me. I was involved in an automobile accident in late 2015 in which I was t-boned at an intersection by someone who ran their red light. As a result of my accident I was experiencing sever pain in my body almost immediately. I was referred to Mr. Wasieleski by a friend who had gone through him for their auto accident and they were extremely pleased with how he handled their case. He immediately contacted a witness at the scene in regards to my case and was able to the prove that I was not at fault for the accident by securing the witness's statement. Thanks to Mr. Wasieleski, I received the treatment that I needed and he was able to settle my total loss vehicle for more than I believed it was even worth!! Not to mention, he got me a great settlement for my personal injury claim as well. All of this was done by him and his office and they were diligent in their work and response.
