After a very difficult Visa process, we hired Tanya to help us get my husband to the US. She was so very thorough, I still have the two boxes of "proof" she submitted to USCIS. Finally his second interview came and he was approved after a 5 year ADministrative process. When his citizenship was an option. We reached out and hired her again. It took us less than a year, she made sure he had all of the documents, all of his quesitons answered and made sure he was prepared for the interview. He passed the interview and took the oath, registered to vote the very same day. Just received an email from her to let us know she has closed his file. I should have hired her in the very beginning. However, she did a fantastic job making sure we followed the rules and submitted all of the correct documentation. I'm glad we don't have to do this again but if we did, I would reach out to her immediately and let her to the job she does so well.

Due to downsizing with the company I worked for with 30 years of service I was released without notice in June of 2014. Upon the release my employer denied my unemployment benefits. My husband and I had recently married. It was a joyous time for us, but there was a lot of worry that we knew we would have to immediately deal with. Andrew is an extremely effective attorney. I started out with a different attorney for my difficult child custody case. I did not feel that my prior attorney had my best interest in mind and was doing only the bare minimum in preparing my case. I decided to seek other representation.
I hired Andrew very late in the process, with my TPA hearing only 2 weeks away. Andrew was able to put together a very solid and sensible case based on the facts, far superior to what was done previously for me.
Right away, I noticed a dramatic difference in the way Andrew was handling and preparing my case, compared to my previous attorney. I was extremely impressed with how quickly Andrew got up to speed and reviewed/prepared all of the evidence in such a short amount of time. He is organized and stays on top of everything. In addition, he made himself very available to me, whether it was just questions I had, or any concerns or updates that I needed to know. He continued to work diligently throughout the entire weekend prior to my hearing.
Andrew has a unique ability to look at the facts, makes sense of your case, and then present them in a very intelligent and articulate way. Andrew is the entire reason I now have joint custody of my 4-month-old son and that he is being returned to his home state.

Andrew has been a huge blessing and supporter in my case! I spoke to him in a consultation a couple of months prior to my separation and he took his time and listened and took notes of everything that I said to him. After speaking with him, I knew immediately that he was who I wanted to represent me if I needed him ( I had spoken to 3 other attorneys prior to meeting Andrew). Shortly after my separation, I had papers served to me from my ex to try and get full custody of our daughter. I was devastated, hurt and in disbelief that my ex would ever do something like this. I immediately contacted Andrew to let him know what was going on and he jumped on my case instantly. Andrew is very caring, knowledgeable, and a man of his word. I've worked with Brian for approxiametly 10 years. I owned a real estate brokerage firm at the time and did most of my closings with Brian. I also did real estate flips and worked with investors, banks, the courthouse, etc. Brian has a wealth of real estate knowledge and was easy to contact to get advice, documentation, etc. I've referred Brian to several builders and realtors and they all let me know how much help he was.
In the last couple years I hired Brian to help litigate a lease / purchase conflict that went to trial. Brian provided great support for this case which was eventually dismissed. He could not act as the lead attorney given our relationship, but his research and input greatly helped.
Even though Brian has a Duke education and often litigates for national banks, he is very approachable and easy to talk to. His focus is not on counting the minutes he can charge, or in any way self serving. Brian will listen and will talk through key issues I need to understand.
I highly recommend Brian and his firm. If you want a down to earth, intelligent, creative advocate, then it will be worth your time to talk to him first.

My initial consultation with Brown and Assoc was by far extremely comforting. Back in 2014 I was in a horrific car crash by a drunk driver. Hired him to get out of a new construction residential contract after shoddy workmanship by the builder and was getting the run around from them Fred was quick to review the contract and contact and he noted that the contract was not properly ratified by the builder under state law - after a letter went out the builder, we received a full refund of our deposit within 30 days. We will definitely use him in the future! Fred was a true gentleman and very strategic in getting us the best result possible with a minimum amount of time or cost incurred.

We have an ongoing issue. It's complex because there are several parties involve and we're going through a juggling act.
We're waiting on Licensing board investigations but they are delayed and we have no time table as to when they will be finished. Yet the company that caused the issue is trying to push it to court before the investigations are finished and you really don't know what or when you are going to need the attorney. You come up with important decisions where you just need 2 questions answered.
Around here, you call just to try and find an attorney. Most won't even have a conversation long enough to make sure you're comfortable with their experience. No matter what your issue is they tell you they can do it and some even talk about money you can go after but you'll find out it was irrelevant.
These same attorneys are more interested in getting your credit card to get money right away versing making sure they can help you.
I had found one other lawyer on here that dealt with larger issues but he took the time to speak with me and told me what to do and when I needed to bring a lawyer in.
Today is that day so I started my search again. I was so fortunate to find Will DeVore.
Again, he answered several important questions today, advised on what to do next and when to bring him in.
It's so comforting when you get somebody on the phone that's interesting in hearing your problem and concerned about helping you versus hustling you out of your money.
Do yourself a favor, if a lawyer asked you for your credit card to talk to you or schedule an appointment to come in, walk away. Give somebody like Mr. DeVore’s office a call.
The prove they care about doing what’s best for everyone instead of just what’s best for themselves regardless.

I engaged Jim after a major investment firm froze all of my father’s assets, and subsequently the assets that I had with the firm as well. At 100 years of age my father had finally begun to succumb to a number of health issues. With diminished capacity as well as significant memory issues, he was declared incompetent. It was a very tough time for the family as you can imagine. My father had a revocable trust in place, and had removed the major investment firm as successor trustee the year before. The investment firm chose to ignore the provisions of the trust, and was not only cavalier about their actions but became virtually non-responsive. Jim engaged directly with the firm’s General Counsel and very appropriately got straight to the matter. Jim also engaged other members of his firm to assist, Christian Perrin specifically, and together they provided our family with excellent counsel and resolved all matters. The investment firm made things very complicated, but Jim resolved matters within 45 days. Jim’s approach was measured and extremely professional. His firm operates as a team, and we felt extremely well represented. Another member of the family is now likely to use their services for estate planning as well. I highly recommend Jim and the firm.

Mr. Lezman helped me file Chapter 7 and stop the lawsuit I had. Other lawyers said I would lose my car and money but Jack told me that I would not lose anything.
