I had to write this review after my experience with Mr. Wilson who helped me with my workers' comp case. I hurt my back badly while at my job and needed surgery...in the midst of the process, I was let go from the job and lost my insurance coverage! A friend advised me to contact Mr. Wilson and I am so grateful that I did. I felt understood, heard, and most importantly, hopeful for the first time in so long! He knows his stuff and was able to help me not only recover my out-of-pocket expenses but also compensated for my time out of work. At each step along the way, Mr. Wilson has patiently answered my questions (and I had a lot of them!), and helped me understand what was happening and what to expect. If you want a lawyer that you can trust, who is down-to-earth, treats you with respect, and works his hardest to represent you and to get the job done, I highly recommend Greg Wilson!

I hired the Wilson Law Firm to help me with my workers compensation claim. Attorney Wilson was very, very helpful and I was very pleased with the result. It was a long and frustrating process but I don't know how I would have done it by myself. I've had other attorneys in the past, but I'd rate Mr. Wilson as one of the best I've used!
The negative review sounds like very sour grapes from a former employee at the Wilson Law Firm. I nearly fired the firm over that employee on more than one occasion - once that employee left I decided to stay, and I have to say the service got even better!

Vernon has been absolutely amazing. A year and half after I had been injured at work and after receiving medical treatment, it was time to start the settlement process. I was given an offer and wasn't sure if it was good. I found The Sumwalt Group on Google and saw the 5 star reviews. I reached out to them to see if I could get some advice. Vernon was the one to call me and gave me some wonderful free advice on countering and what would be a good amount. He also looked over the settlement agreement I received to make sure it wouldn't mess up any potential social security/disability in the future. Vernon made me feel like he cared and like he wanted the best for me on this settlement and helped me to avoid having to hire a lawyer and drag out the process. After consulting with Diana about the many HOA issues in our neighborhood, the Board decided she was the right attorney for the job. With a neighborhood that was approximately 59% delinquent and inappropriate use of funds by the prior Board members, we knew it was going to be a challenge. With Diana's direction on demand letters, liens and court litigations, the neighborhood is back on track. We recovered the majority of money from the inappropriate use from the prior Board members, all past HOA dues are current with the exception of one, and many neglected issues have been corrected! It was a pleasure working with Ann and her team. I was hit by a truck while riding my bicycle. I was out of work for 9 weeks, had 3 surgeries, and no way was I in shape to tackle the insurance claims or any other pieces of this case. There was no way I could have dealt with the insurance companies without her assistance. From the start, she explained to me the process and what we could expect and she was dead on. She never set false expectations but stuck with the facts and did a very good job. There were no surprises and communication with Ann was constant. She made me feel comfortable all the way through the process. Her persistence with the insurance companies and knowledge of the law made everything seem so simple (at least to me!).
I hope I never need an attorney again but if I do, I will certainly be calling Ann for assistance. Everyone in her office was very responsive and eager to assist. They were all very professional and a pleasure to work with.

I hired Ann Groninger after meeting with her and her staff of professionals and knew that I would receive justice. Their first order of business was my health and getting me back to as close to being one hundred percent as possible, secondarily the took care of all of my medical expenses ensuring that I had no financial residuals as a result of my accident. From letters, to emails and phone calls informing me of the status of my trial dates too any new and unseen developments with my case they kept me abreast and completely involved, often asking me about my opinions needs and concerns as we moved forward. Misses Groninger never focused on the monetary portions of the case but more so the justice of the case as promised by the law and as promised by her and her elite legal team. Again no mailers no phone calls I was introduced to her and her superior team of experts from a pryior client. Would I recommend this talented staff of lawyers absolutely. So if you want justice hire Ann Groninger, if all you want is a settlement hire someone else.

Josh is a native Charlotte man who knows the area and people well. He understood my case well and helped me even though I was not the most rich or fancy client. Josh knows people and it makes him a good lawyer. He is honest, and I do not get a feel like he is trying to make money, but help me. His office is a little outdated and he is old fashioned (uses a fax machine) but he is more experienced and knows the law better than many recent graduates at big firm. Adam Tan assisted Woody Connette with legal documents/issues regarding my husband's recent death. I found Adam to always be very informed, compassionate, and approachable. I needed a Widows Allowance in order to sell my husband's truck. The bank holding the title and the car dealer (who was buying the truck back) did not appear to have knowledge of this document and what it represented. I would not consider hiring a lawyer besides Mr. Winiker. I spent nine and a half years in the Feds, the last six of which I was held indefinitely - without a release date. Over the years, several lawyers jumped on and off of my case. All of them were more well-known, far more expensive than Mr. Winiker, and they accomplished nothing. Mr. Winiker handled myself (I'm not easy to work with), my family, the court, and the prosecution with the utmost professionalism, attention, and competence at every step. Most importantly, he accomplished what many would have thought impossible. Mr. Winiker had me free in very little time. I spent nearly a decade reading cases in prison. I am doubtful that another lawyer like Mr. Winiker can still be found in the federal system, at any price. It is unlikely that my co-defendant and I would have spent a day in prison if we had known Mr. Winiker from the start.
