I would definitely recommend this lawyer. He took the time out of his busy schedule to meet with me. I did not have an appointment with him and i was in desperate need to meet with an attorney at the time. He was the only one that to actually said he could meet with me. I greatly appreciate the time that was given to me. Every other law firm i called was very rude and as I look at it very unprofessional. I must say Mr. Bartimole was professional and has great. He gave me great advice and information i needed.

Stephen was personal referral from a friend. His communication, promptness and the experience he came with made me feel like my case was in the right hands. Honesty with no sugar coating was my favorite thing about him. As the client, of all the decisions I had to make along the way I never felt persuaded to lean one way or the other, Stephen really showed me he worked for me and backed all of my decisions and really fought for me when I couldn’t. He’s a great attorney with an excellent team (Diane).

Going through a divorce was the worst thing I have ever experienced. I was referred to Lingle Legal Services by an attorney in my office who had worked with Stephanie when he was a prosecutor, he said that she had a lot of trial experience which was important to me because I wanted to take my ex-wife to the cleaners. Attorney Lingle did an excellent job of keeping me updated about the particulars (laws/procedures/timelines/what I could expect next) of my case). She was quick to respond to my calls and emails. Most importantly she was a voice of reason at a time when I was understandably a little irrational in what I wanted to happen. This ended up saving me a lot of money as she was able to negotiate a settlement that cost me significantly less than a trial would have even though she would have be the main person to benefit from my case becoming protracted. Because of this I can honestly give her 5 stars for trustworthiness, what other lawyers give advice that gets them lower fee bills?

Since the first grade I had constantly battled my daughter's school over her IEP. Teachers not wanting to follow her IEP. Teachers constantly saying something to my daughter about taking medication for her ADHD. Both of which are illegal. Teachers would make fun of the children with IEPs in front of their classmates. I am a strong woman and a powerful voice for my daughter. For years I was able to get the school in line on my own. At one point I did threaten legal action. They definitely take notice with that threat. By the time she was in the 12th grade I was beaten down. I still fought, but I was tired of fighting alone. I called Renee. She was exactly what my daughter and I needed. She was in the fight with us. The school already hated having to deal with me, but once an attorney was involved they knew this momma meant business and the fight was over. I had zero issues once Renee was involved. I honestly wish I had gotten Renee earlier. Not every child has a parent that has the voice I have. I understand battling a school system is difficult. Knowing the laws surrounding IEPs can be confusing. I understand a lot of parents aren't as confrontational as I am. This is when you need someone like Renee. Even if you have been successful with your battles having Renee in the fight with you takes a load off of you. The IEP your child has is a legal binding agreement. The schools must follow it. My daughter graduated this May. It was a long, hard road getting there. I am so thankful that Renee traveled the last few miles with us. If I had it to do over she would have been with us for the entire journey. I am giving Renee 5 stars. I would give so many more but that's as high as the rating goes.

His work was always of superior quality as evidenced by my review and the review of other attorneys in the corporation. Peter is also very personable and a pleasure to work with. He is consciensous to a fault. His work was always timely and I had complete faith in his judgment. I felt that I could trust him to do an excellent job , even with the most difficult inventions.

Matt Rolf was able to meet with me under short notice, and different circumstances. Matt traditionally practices in real estate law, however, when I had a question about a family divorce, he gave me excellent legal advice. Matt was able to get me the money I was entitled. Yeah, It sucks when the attorney the cut of money, but when you step back and look at the work he put in, he was definitely entitled to it. He is a business oriented man but paid special attention to the emotional aspect of my situation. I would recommend him to anyone. Matt even got in my car, went to the bank with me, and did all the talking to the bank manager. Thank you for your help!

We (my spouse & I) consider ourselves extremely lucky to have hired Robert Edelstein, Esq. for a landlord-tenant dispute. Our tenants - whose financial history turned out to be significantly worse than what we'd been provided when we signed them on & whom we'd had to evict for nonpayment of rent left us with more than a big bill for their unpaid rent: they left us with an uninhabitable house due to damages. Robert was honest with us from Day 1, warning it was highly unlikely we'd collect the full amount based on the other party's financial track record if nothing else. Getting us a trial date & then working out a settlement agreement for 2/3 the unpaid rent, fees, utilities & damages in ~17 minutes(!) huddled with the previous tenants' attorney worked out really well, since the cost of a trial + the additional court/legal fees would've increased our costs & offset the judgment to almost what we're (contracted) to receive, plus we were able to avoid the added hassle of a trial. I particularly liked the fact a settlement was his goal from the start since he knew a good one could be financially better than a long trip through the courts. Foremost was the fact there's never a guarantee a judge will see things the landlord's way despite the evidence presented. Second is that in a settlement should the other party fail to make every payment they can be held responsible for the full amount due, a not insignificant fact. Not only that, but because of his experience and familiarity with real estate system & landlord-tenant law he brought us to a conclusion in record time. We knew of other landlords' horror stories where they'd had to wait 6 months to a year or more just to bring their cases before a judge & then were delayed by multiple continuances (and after that some failed to get even a fraction of their requested amounts.). Robert got the tenants & their lawyer to agree to a settlement in a fraction of the time we had any reason to expect. If you live in N.E. Ohio I doubt you could find a better legal rep than Robert Edelstein to handle your landlord-tenant affairs.

I would highly recommend this law firm to anyone considering divorce! Integrity, Compassion, Professionalism are just three adjectives I would use to describe the entire team at Zoller/Biacsi. I was already a year into me divorce process and was extremely frustrated when I hired them to take on my case as it was not progressing. Hiring them was most definitely the best decision I made! I had a very complex case and a very uncooperative ex which made it difficult to get anything accomplished. The entire staff at Zoller/Biasci took off running on getting the information we needed to build our case. They helped me stay focused on the goal as the stress levels were off the charts. I think that for most of us, making that final decision to file for divorce can be very scary and you feel very alone. From our first consultation, I knew right away that they would always have my back which was a huge comfort and load off of my shoulders. They truly care about their clients and getting them the best possible resolution. They are very good at what they do and are extremely detail oriented, organized and conduct themselves with class. Unfortunately my case was settled without going to trial as I was really hoping to see Mary and John in action in a trial setting as they are the dream team of lawyers! A big huge THANK YOU to John, Mary, Kirsty, Lisa and Landon - you all helped to give me back my life and I will always appreciate the extremely hard work you did on my case! Lori

I ran my own business in Ohio for twenty five years and worked with many a attorney. I have been retired for years due to health and needed some legal help and now do not have a lot of money. Then a Godsend happened and a friend told me of a super star attorney like no other. His name, Nicholas Panagopoulos 11. I have now been with this attorney for over a year and he is like no other attorney I have ever met. His is honorable, knowledgeable and has gone to great lengths to help me. He has even written the President of the United States on my behalf and the letter he wrote was like no other letter I have even witnessed. This lawyer has been a winner for me and will win for you. My name is Thomas Pattison and my phone is 440-943-2302. Call me and I will tell you about this lawyer. I believe in him and that is why I am writing this.

Anyone who is looking for a on point, diligent attorney who works steadfast I highly recommend Mr. Lawrence Rich. From the time that I hired Mr. Rich until the end, he worked hard and what seemed effortlessly to make everything go as smooth as they possibly could. Working with him has been an absolute blessing! I've dealt with a lot of attorneys and Mr. Rich is by far the most caring and informative attorney I have had the pleasure of coming across. All my questions & concerns were answered & handled. I never once was left in the dark or was left wondering. Extremely professional and again highly recommended.

I love this guy!!!. Found myself in a legal haystack in multiple area locations for something I was wrongfully accused. Atty Porter worked with me for several months, and I will be honest, I thought his softer approach was going to bite me in the butt on many occasions. He was right, and I was wrong. Listen to him, he knows what he's doing. After all that's why you're looking to hire him in the first place. Mark is the guy you'd love to sit and have a beer with after its all said and done. Has great moral fiber, an overall good man. He plays it very smart. I learned that in our legal system, you don't want a screaming yelling atty, I learned that the system looks at the atty as being a mirror of the clients personality. He's served his country, and I found him to be very fair and balanced in his words and actions. He is the glue you need if you need litigation done.

Marilyn was genuinely interested in a case that was both ridiculous and below her pay grade. As a painter/plasterer, I was given a job to fix a ceiling. I was accused of destroying it-despite the fact that it was constructed in '87----1887. Despite the fact that a mouse could have farted on that "ceiling" and caused it to fall. If they can sue for this-they can sue for anything. Then home repair is done. And maybe I should quit. But not because of Marilyn. She did her job. A desperate society did not do its

Top Questions to Ask a Lawyer

When meeting with a lawyer for the first time, it's important to ask the right questions to understand their expertise and determine if they're the right fit for your legal needs. Here are some top questions to consider:

  1. What experience do you have with cases similar to mine?
Ensure the lawyer has relevant experience in the specific area of law pertaining to your case.
  2. How do you charge for your services, and what are the estimated costs?
Understand the fee structure, including hourly rates, flat fees, retainer fees, and any additional expenses.
  3. What potential outcomes can I expect from my case?
While no lawyer can guarantee results, they can provide an assessment of possible scenarios based on their experience.
  4. What is your approach to handling cases like mine?
Learn about their strategy, whether they prefer negotiation, mediation, or litigation.
  5. Who will be working on my case?
Find out if the lawyer will handle your case personally or delegate tasks to other attorneys or paralegals.
  6. How will you communicate with me throughout the process?
Establish expectations for updates, preferred communication methods, and response times.
  7. What is the likely timeline for resolving my case?
Get an estimate of how long the process may take from start to finish.
  8. Do you have references from past clients?
Testimonials or references can provide insight into the lawyer's professionalism and effectiveness.
  9. What are the strengths and weaknesses of my case?
Understanding potential challenges helps you prepare and sets realistic expectations.
  10. Are there alternative ways to solve my legal problem?
Discuss options like mediation, arbitration, or settlement to resolve the issue efficiently.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  1. Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing.
  2. Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case.
  3. Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association.
  4. Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, or Google to gauge client satisfaction.
  5. Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field.
  6. Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation.
  7. Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  8. Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  1. Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as contracts, correspondence, legal notices, court papers, or evidence.
  2. Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and involved parties.
  3. List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, or the lawyer's experience.
  4. Financial Information:
If applicable, bring financial documents like pay stubs, tax returns, or bank statements.
  5. Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case.
  6. Personal Identification:
Bring a valid ID for verification purposes.
  7. Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points.
  8. Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations.

How Much Does a Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring a lawyer varies widely based on several factors:

  • Fee Structures:
    • Hourly Rate:
Lawyers may charge anywhere from $150 to $500 or more per hour, depending on experience and location.
    • Flat Fee:
For routine legal services like drafting a will or handling an uncontested divorce, lawyers might offer a flat fee.
    • Retainer Fee:
An upfront payment against which the lawyer bills hourly fees.
    • Contingency Fee:
Common in personal injury cases; the lawyer receives a percentage (typically 25% to 40%) of any settlement or award.
    • Monthly Retainer:
For ongoing services, businesses might pay a monthly fee for a set number of hours or services.
  • Factors Affecting Cost:
    • Complexity of the Case:
More complex cases require more time and resources, increasing costs.
    • Lawyer's Experience:
Highly experienced lawyers may charge higher fees.
    • Geographic Location:
Legal fees can vary significantly by region or city.
    • Additional Expenses:
Court filing fees, expert witness fees, travel expenses, and administrative costs may be extra.
  • Estimating Total Costs:
Request a detailed fee agreement outlining all potential costs.
Discuss any additional expenses that may arise during the case.
  • Negotiating Fees:
Some lawyers may be willing to negotiate fees or offer payment plans, especially for clients with financial constraints.
  • Pro Bono Services:
For those who cannot afford legal services, some lawyers or legal aid organizations offer services at reduced rates or for free.
