Josh made a very difficult & emotional situation tolerable. Im from California and received an arrest warrant in the state of South Carolina. At first I was in shock and i couldnt sleep for months, I would stay up all night googling information trying to understand and make sense of it all. The federal laws are tough and I felt like my life was over, After retaining mr. harvey, he represented me in a way that I never had been represented before, He mitigated my sentence and was able to present me in the best light possible to the judge and got me the best result possible. This man got along with everyone that I came in contact with from my PO to my rehabilitation staff to the DA during sentencing and even the Judge. I went to Mr Harvey for help with a drug case involving several serious charges. There are a handful of attorneys in town that are the cream of the crop or 'top guys' in this area, and I chose Mr Harvey because he had previously gotten excellent results for a friend for a similar, slightly less complex case. He was not the first lawyer I called but he was the last because something in his voice and demeanor over the phone set me at ease and I trusted my gut instincts and met with him and retained his services in my defense. Probably the best decision I have made in a long time... Mr Harvey guided me through the stressful process with genuine concern and I felt like I had someone who got things done in my corner, that is what you need in my situation. In the end he got me such good results that I almost can't believe it... Myself and my family will forever be in his debt and I will be a walking, talking billboard for his law firm for as long as he practices law... Mr. Bell got to work on my case immediately after I retained him. He worked weekends and evenings and did whatever it took to achieve the best possible results for me. I faced substantial charges, but Mr. Bell had them dropped entirely. He is extremely persuasive in the courtroom and won't stop until he reaches the best outcome for his client. I am deeply grateful for the work he did on my case. Nothing ever fell through the cracks with him, and he pushed the prosecutor to move things along as quickly as possible. He was available night or day to address problems in the case. A top notch professional by any standard. Taylor Bell with the Jeffcoat Law firm did a great job for a situation which could have become much worse and result in criminal case. But Taylor provided effective representation and stood up to law enforcement that would not go down without a fight. Sometimes they get things wrong.

I fell off a ladder at work and injured my shoulder and back. The insurance company sent me for physical therapy and wanted me to go back to work. I hired Lowell, he got me to a top-notch neurosurgeon and an MRI showed two herniated discs. I eventually had surgery. After I recovered and was released by my doctor, I was awarded the largest amount possible for my injury and the ins company is on the hook for my future medical costs.
Lowell's paralegal and other assistants were wonderful throughout. Everyone there treated me like family. Highly recommend.

I had a tough case that most attorneys would have turned down, but Mr. Samuels is not like most attorneys. He knew what he was getting into would be a challenge, but he took it on and persevered. Just a couple months ago I needed an attorney pronto for a family law case including DSS. I was referred to the Mathews. Foster took my case. Ken represented me during my probable cause hearing and Foster thereafter. I will admit I had very little faith in him and was very concerned I would loose the battle. That’s the only thing I did wrong...was doubt him! That guy is the best attorney known to the court of law! I highly recommend them both! Elizabeth Franklin Best is an outstanding attorney. Betsy more than lived up to her qualifications and reputation! I knew from the initial phone call that she was the one.
She was honest and direct. She did not over-promise or confuse us. She listened and explained the options. She developed a strategy and followed it through. Elizabeth was thorough and did the leg work necessary to get my Uncle out of prison after serving 19 years of a 480-month sentence. She kept us informed of the progress and the outcome was Amazing! The motion was granted several weeks later.
Although my Uncle passed days before his release, Betsy was always available to answer questions and provide support and direction for anything else that came along.

My son was sentenced 50 years in SCDC at 19 years old and devastated the whole family, because he never should have been sentenced that harshly. Mrs. Best came to prison and spoke to him and gave him hope and life to fight for an appeal! All he remembers as we continue to fight is Mrs. Elizabeth Franklin-Best! We will never forget the words and compassion along with hope she gave to us! There have never been a lawyer in our experience that is generally concerned about justice. I've worked with other attorneys before but Mr. Protopapas has been the best by far. He's a straight shooter that helped me when I needed it most. Awesome attorney! Old school but he is amazing at creating new defenses. He's honest and will give you honest feedback. He represented me at a trial by jury. His defense was so tight that the prosecutor, the judge, nor the arresting officer even knew what he was presenting. But, it was legit and presented facts supported by laws. He literally had the prosecutor standing with her knees visibly shaking and requesting a break. He does his homework!!! I would never use anyone else.

I just recently had a horrible experience with a hospital. Jones Andrews contacted me right back, told me of his experience with this particular hospital, who he knew there, their lawyers, etc. He told me that I wasn't going to get a lot out of this case, but he was livid about my treatment and wanted to represent me regardless of the small percentage. He represented our family in a complex SC real estate limited partnership and estate matters that progressed over 5 yrs. He was fantastic in all respects as a lawyer in a difficult and complex series of what turned out to be frivolous litigations. Ultimately we prevailed on the merits and were awarded attorney fees and costs as the litigations were frivolous. This was affirmed by the Court of Appeals and was the only case at that time for which such fees were upheld on appeal. A plus in all respects.

Mr. Thompson took on a case after another firm mishandled it. He quickly brought himself up to speed on the case which involved several months of prior work done by a lawyer who was not actually suited for this type of work. I never actually met Mr. Thompson, but we talked several times on the phone plus corresponded via e-mail. It was easy to tell immediately that he had a calm and intelligent manner from the first conversation. I could tell from the initial discussion that I was sorry I had not had him represent me from the beginning. Throughout the ensuing months, I found him to be highly responsible and empathetic to my situation and gave very wise advice. It was dum luck how I first obtain free legal representation from Theresa John. She was a public defender at the time and I had just committed major felonies. It was my first time locked up and I was scared. I didn't know what to expect in any given situation; especially where my legal representation was concerned. A public defender is definitely not the first choice for anyone facing criminal charges. However, Therasa John had a reputation as the best public defender in the office; among all my fellow inmates. Every one wanted her and the reasons are simple:
1) She makes time for you; even though, she had a heavy case load. She answered your phone calls and that's something paid attorneys didn't always do.
2) She listens to your full story and then gives you real-life options on what she really can achieve.
3) And this is the best one. She comes see you with an agenda set in motion to achieve those option(s) you chose (if she had not already accomplished the task in her absence). After meeting, you really feel like something has been accomplished.
