My husband and I attended an information meeting sponsored by Attorney Gill’s group, and we were so impressed with the clarity with which he explained the benefit of a family trust. Since that time we have set down with Mr. Gill and created a trust which we think organizes and protects our assets. We very much want our family to understand this process, and Mr. Gill has been kind enough to share the same presentation about trusts with our son, and help him understand the process. It is so very comforting to have provided each of our children with Attorney Gill’s contact information and to know he has a copy of all our powers of attorney (health, etc.) If ever we should experience a medical emergency, each of our children carries one contact card—Attorney Gill’s. We know that Gill’s office would fax to anyplace in the world, papers that are pertinent to our care, and they have established a relationship with our children. His materials have also helped us organize contact information regarding our property, insurance, etc, and provided a way we can communicate to our children about our end-of-life wishes in as non-emotional way as possible. Meanwhile, we are blessed to be active and healthy at 70+, and we intend to stop by the office often to keep our records up to date and to be responsible with the resources the good Lord has provided. Leaving St. Thomas More Church in Chapel Hill I was unaware of the posted speed. I received a citation, was to appear in court two months later. I was unable to attend, I live Cape Cod Massachusetts. The citation caught up to me two years later, on the renewal of my Massachusetts driving license... I contacted Attorney Goldston. He returned my email promptly and reassured me not to worry. Not only did he reduce my speeding violation, he stop my suspension. Thank you Attorney Goldston for your professionalism.

I met Mark by chance outside the Durham County courthouse the day before my traffic violation court date. We had a lengthy conversation about the case and, while waiting for him to conduct other business, I had a chance to observe the goings on in court. I hired Mark and he immediately got to work, even working into the night (the 1:30 am text let me know). The outcome achieved in court was, I believe, the best possible. I will recommend Mark to friends, and I will retain his services if needed in future.

I first retained Mark Simeon 15 years ago, referred by my auntie. He handles all the traffic tickets for my whole family. We all knew he was an excellent lawyer, but after what he just accomplished for my fiancé, I must say he's the absolute BEST!!
Long ago, some people in town started calling him "Houdini" because he can make license suspensions disappear off drivers' records. Now I see why -- my finance's license was suspended PERMANENTLY, several time over, and now, all the PERMs are gone! It took some time, and honestly, more money than we can afford, but it was so, so worth it. Simeon has a system, and it works.
I hear he recently started a nonprofit law firm for NC driver license restoration so that he can help people who can't afford him. Let's hope they get the grants and donations they need to stay afloat because it's too many people out here driving on revoked licenses because they just don't have the money for lawyers like him.
Anyway, Mark Simeon gets my top vote. I'd give him ten stars if I could!

Jack Rockers was a godsend. My husband and I initially contacted two other attorneys to help us navigate the process involved in changing my husband’s immigration status from TN to green card, and we were feeling demoralized by our experiences. The first attorney was nonresponsive; the second was ill informed and exploitative. Soon after we had consulted the second attorney, an acquaintance of mine recommended Jack. He was the perfect fit for us: friendly and accessible, professional and easygoing. His fee was reasonable, and being able to rely on him in helping us prepare and submit our application eased the stress and sense of uncertainty that my husband and I were feeling. We placed our trust in Jack, and he did not disappoint. Our initial meeting with him was on May 22, our application was finalized and mailed by June 12, and my husband was granted his green card on September 10. With each development along the way, the support staff at Hatch Law Office kept in prompt and constant touch. Moreover, Jack was honest with me when I asked if he thought my husband and I needed him to accompany us to our interview at the local USCIS office. He said that because our case was straightforward and we were so well organized and informed, he did not believe we needed to spend the extra money to have him accompany us. And he was right. Mr.Koenig was knowledgeable and professional as we reviewed policies
on home ownership rights and problems. The need to possibly change
or transfer the deed, the pros and cons associated with any change;
the other possible options: refinancing or sale of the home. He provided
specific facts and costs of each options, facts of NC law relative to each option, and positive and negative financial and/or personal consequences related to each of those options. We reviewed local housing levels of care options for seniors, from rentals to assisted living.
Lastly we reviewed the NC law on tenancy; the right to rent out a room
to either stranger or family; when and how one might evict if necessary.
Mr. Koenig provided dates of upcoming appropriate information sessions. He explained a remedy to an incomplete Will and Power of
Attorney. I surely will recommend him to others and will return to use his
services as needed.
