To the law office of Jocelyn Stewart.
After a 26 year long stellar career as. Green Beret, I was facing 7 felony charges from my ex wife. These charges were all false allegations provided by my ex wife to my chain of command. The Army never once had my back. The Army labeled me a criminal from the first time my ex wife made these allegations. I went through a 3-1/2 year long process that was harder than any military deployment. From the first time we talked to Rob, there was just something about him that was different. He wanted us to do our homework and read his bio before we made a decision to hire him. My outlook on the Military Justice system was very low. I do not trust lawyers or the Military anymore. Rob had my back from day one. His passion, dedication are unmatched. The way he handled my court martial trial was second to none. His heart was in it from the start. He gave me his all. Although I knew in my heart I was innocent of these false allegations I still faced 7 felony charges from the Government. I was scared, I was worried and faced 40 years in prison if I was found guilty. After a week long trial and Rob’s heart felt and passionate closing arguments. I heard the words Not Guilty. My family and I can not thank him enough. I can finally retire with an honorable discharge and all my benefits. Thank you Rob!!!

James is one stop shopping. Reasonably priced, stop by his office and make the payment with credit card or cash and he handles everything else with the courthouse. No appearances, returns for payments, etc. He handles it all. That's true legal representation. He has handled many moving and non-moving violations for me and for my friends and family. My daughter got a speeding ticket that should have been considered as reckless driving (>30 mph). What should have been 6 to 8 points on the insurance with a 130%-180% increase in insurance got reduced to 1 point. He even gave her a huge break on price despite my suggestion to charge what most other lawyers would charge for this type of violation as a life lesson. He literally saved me $1000s per year on insurance costs. Worth every dime. 15 more to go.

Bruce Armstrong is hands down the BEST lawyer/legal professional I have ever dealt with. He takes a personal vested interest in every case he deals with and established a great client relationship immediately. He was able to break everything down for me very plain and simple and promised me he would work as hard as he could to minimize the charges I faced. I faced some pretty heavy charges, so I never thought he would be able to get them all dropped, but sure enough, he did just that. He was in frequent communication with me before the trial and asked me for information to show my character. He knew exactly what he was doing and was with me every step of the way. He always made time to talk to me on the phone and answer my questions. I would recommend to ANYONE to seek him out if you are in need of legal assistance. He is by far the most competent, hard-working, and skillful lawyer in North Carolina. Here is a summary of what I went through for those of you who wish to continue reading:
I was traveling through Fayetteville, NC for work and received an outstanding traffic ticket, coupled with aggressive/reckless driving and driving to endangerment. I was faced with loosing my license and was so terrified and stressed out I did not know what to do. I called around to a few different lawyers that had the best online reviews, and each one of them was going to charge me over $800 for a starting fee and the receptionist wouldn't even let me speak to the actual layer himself. Additionally, they basically told me those types of charges are near impossible to have dropped and so I was most likely going to have to pay hundreds of dollars more for various fines. A friend recommended Bruce Armstrong to me, and so I called his office and immediately noticed a difference. Right off the bat, his receptionist was super friendly and understanding; She listened to my entire story and took down as much detail as possible. Then, she told me that Mr. Armstrong would call me right back, and sure enough, less than 2 hours later I received a call back from Mr. Armstrong himself. He spent time getting to know me, my background, where I came from, what happened, why it happened, and then walked me through a sort of game plan he was thinking of. He did not blow any smoke and was completely transparent and honest the entire time. His fee was over 50% less than other lawyers in the area, yet the service he provided was 100 times greater. I am SO thankful for finding Bruce Armstrong, and would not go with anyone else in the future.

I can not say enough about this firms professionalism and performance. Like many, I was caught in one of the infamous North Carolina speed traps on a Holiday weekend. To my surprise, I was inundated with mailings from local Cumberland County attorney's wishing to represent me. Unwilling to accept solicitations, I went on line and extensively researched Cumberland County area lawyers and selected Matthew Plyler based on his outstanding reviews, years serving in Cumberland County, and UNC law education (trust me, this matters)....all of which go a long way to securing intimate knowledge of the local legal system and its players. The result was a complete dismissal which was more than I could have hoped for. When Mr. Roberts was still with the Legal Aid, I was referred to him by the county because I became the victim was a very serious DV/criminal case. I honestly did not expect too much from a legal aid attorney from the stories I've heard, however he did not only work so hard, but he has given me so much emotional support while being extremely professional and he fought very hard against this awful judicial system that seems to be built around the criminals not the victims. Camille stole $3500 from me. She neglected my case. I would text her questions and she would take days to respond to me. She did not ask for my witnesses until a week before my hearing and one of my witnesses that I could've used was out of state. So I never even got a trial because I was scared that she was not prepared. I had to settle and sign an agreement under duress. I recently read the she was already reported by the BAR. I will also be reporting her. Please DO NOT waste your time hiring her. She has poor communication skills and she will try to charge you about $200 an hour to talk to her even after you have paid the retainer fee.
