I feel lucky to have Dori represent me during my case. She led me through a very emotional and unexpected child custody issue. Dori was very attentive, knowledgeable, and honest. We adopted our daughter from Ethiopia and hired Mrs. Boone-Costantino as our attorney for the re-adoption in Texas. I met her many years before when she was working while in law school and was our wedding photographer. I knew from that experience that she had great attention to detail and was very professional. I had every confidence in seeking her help with our daughter's adoption in Texas. I assumed the international part of the adoption would have made the process a bit more complicated...maybe it did, but she never let us feel that. Stress was last thing we needed as new parents only home six months with a toddler. She was very organized and clear in her communications with me regarding all the required documents and forms. Without much notice, my father-in-law flew in for a visit (from out of the country), and she was able to get us a court date so that he could attend. The re-adoption was of course emotional for us, but also for our attorney. (How many people can say that?) She was there when our lives began together and again for the adoption of our first child. (I did apologize for making her teary-eyed in front of the judge). Especially in matters of family law, I think it is important to have someone working with you who really cares. She is a very bright, capable and compassionate person, whom I highly recommend.

My son,had got himself in trouble with drugs and started to run with people who you would say had questionable character,and of course they did . I am his step dad,and have been in on and consulted with his Attorneys and have not been left in the dark. They were susesfull in getting him a redused sentence,from a very conservative Juudge,and had the State charges droped . Mrs. Decker is very knowledgeable, personable, and efficient. She professionally guided me through my divorce, and made the entire process a smooth and less stressful experience than I anticipated. Her staff went above and beyond to support me. One thing that really supported me was getting an itemized bill each month with very reasonable fees. I was never shocked or felt cheated when I received a bill. Also, when I call or email Mrs. Decker or her staff, they respond immediately, and they are all very helpful. Brian represented my daughter in an unfortunate felony case. What most impressed me about Brian was his compassion and knowledge. From the first conversation I could tell he really cared about my daughter's case. At the same time he was very realistic and informed me and my daughter of all the options. My daughter's case was eventually dropped to a misdemeanor for which she is serving probation only.
He also assisted her with anothe problem that she was having with an old relationship. He was under no obligation to do this but I think he did it truly because he cares about his clients.
Brian is truly an exceptional lawyer. I highly recommend him.

Brian Bouffard defended my son in a criminal case approximately 2 years ago, after having been highly recommended by another attorney whom I greatly trusted. He was absolutely incredible in my son's defense with an amazing trial presence against the DA, who was literally blown out of the water and even laughed at by the jury. My son was indeed innocent, but had a look-a-like, who used his vehicle in a criminal mischief act. Brian was kind, concerned, methodical and brilliant in trial, as well as before in hearing evidence, as well as thorough investigation of the evidence - THOROUGH! A police officer who handled the case walked into the courtroom strutting and left with his head hung low after he committed perjury about the case, which Brian called him out on. I could not more highly recommend any attorney. Brian is absolutely incredible and a brilliant defender!

Mr. Huston has rescued me on two seperate occasions. When i signed for prison time i was terrifed and he made sure i was able to acquire all of my back time and told me i wouldny serve very much of my prison term. Mr. Huston is a phenomenal lawyer and worked incredibly hard on my case even though he was appointed to me, not hired by me. He got me misdemeanor time on a state jail felony case that I was originally offered a year on. He went even further and fought for me to have my time served on the weekends only, in county jail, and everyday I am there counts as two days. he made sure that I was able to keep my job and be at home with my wife and daughters the majority of the week. He recently went out of his way and got the time pushed back that I go into the county jail, while still getting credit for that day, so I could pick up an extra shift at work, which he did not have to do. If I ever were to get in trouble again this man would be my first call. I would highly recommend him to anyone with a criminal case. He's highly intelligible, easy going and hard working. If he did this good of a job on a case where he was appointed by the court, he's obviously worth every dime someone would be paying him.

My Son was facing serious felony criminal charges which could have resulted in multiple years in prison. In all honesty in Mr. Poe being his court appointed attorney we really were not expecting much. Sadly this wasn’t my sons first time in trouble and our experience with both hired and court appointed attorneys hasn’t been the best. They’ve often been difficult to reach and we’ve found ourselves to be just another case file. This wasn’t the case with Brian Poe. Not only did we find him extremely knowledgeable in federal criminal law, he was compassionate and treated my son and our family with respect. He took NUMEROUS calls from my son and myself and always took the time to explain every step of the process. Brian actually would take the time to message me when he would meet with my son just to let me know that he was doing okay. He’s genuinely just a good man. In our experience with Mr. Poe we found him to be a dedicated, knowledgeable attorney with a great working relationship with both the DA and the courts. I e- mailed Jarrod King about a problem I was having with and ex-landlord who is threating to sue me to collect damages he said we cause by pet urine on floors. We never had a pet but still felt we needed someone to help us work with this. Mr King called me with in 5 minutes of receiving my e-mail to tell me he did not do this type of lawyer but referred me to someone who does. Shirin is amazing. She went above and beyond to get my citizenship done. It was a very hard case since I had a parent that was fighting against us doing this. Even though my parent lied and would not give correct information,Shirin would not give up. she kept on digging until she got exactly what we needed. I had the honor and pleasure of using John Allen Chalk as a lawyer when I went into the oil business in the early 1980's and then from 2000 through 2007 I practiced with him as one of his law partners.
