Kendall Goetz did a wonderful job on my child support case. I went to her with only a week until final trial, because my original attorney in the case was not working in my families overall best interest (I felt). That attorney was costing me more then I truly believe it should have...time and money was being wasted while the case was getting off track from the original filing.
Kendall stepped in and turned it around from ending in a total disaster! I highly recommend her and will more then likely be needing her assistance again in the future.

When you get dragged into a family law case, I promise you that it is going to be one of the most stressful and devastating times of your life. You will be emotionally drained, financially drained, and mentally drained the entire time you endure your case.
Coming from someone who was dragged into a custody battle, please heed the following advice:
FIND YOURSELF A FAMILY LAW ATTORNEY WHO IS A STRONG LITIGATOR.
You may be tempted to hire your next attorney based off of their firm’s advertisements. I’m sure you have seen the firms that advertise they are the “the father’s rights firm,” or they “exclusively practice family law.” As reassuring as these marketing claims may sound, their extensive knowledge of the law should not be the selling point for you. It needs to be their extensive knowledge of the law AND LITIGATION that convinces you to pull out your wallet and retain them.
There are a lot of family law attorneys who know the law, but they are NOT strong litigators. Trust me because I had to pay for TWO lawyers who fell into this category and I was getting beat up without mercy in court. I literally had a meltdown because I was getting beat up in court so much with one of the other attorneys that I genuinely felt like I was going to lose my child.
I finally got wise, dumped my previous attorney, and hired my next lawyer from Justice Law Firm.
Anyone can know how the rules of a particular game work on paper, but that doesn’t mean that they know how to move and work their opponent on the court.
A LITIGATING attorney knows how the rules work on paper, but more importantly, they know how to move and work your opponent (opposing party) on the court.
You need a strong litigator because the family court is a place where lies abound. Expect everyone to lie about everything and if you have a strong, litigating attorney, he or she is going to easily expose just how much the opposing party is lying.
Had I not retained Justice Law Firm, a boutique family law firm with LITIGATING attorneys, most of the lies that the opposing party was trying to tell would have made into the court room and I could have potentially paid three times as much money fighting in court as I did.
My particular attorney, Marshall Jacobini, is a very strong litigator! In court, Marshall shut down the opposing party’s lies all throughout her testimony and during cross-examination.
His litigation style is structured, calm, collected, and focused, but irritatingly persistent. This litigation style made the opposing party reveal her aggressive, combative, and manipulative nature in front of the judge.
Marshall Jacobini is a very perceptive strategist. He is a lethal combination for the opposing party because of his legal knowledge, litigation style, and his candidness in telling you (his client) the truth about your shortcomings and strengths. More impressively, he came in and cleaned up in 3 days what my former attorney from another prestigious law firm in the area had messed up for five months.
He caught a number of errors in my suit that my former attorney had overlooked. The result was that Marshall got my case dismissed.

I hired Michael to represent my Grandson, who was jailed on a probation violation. My family had retained his services before when my son was arrested for DWI. He did such a good job with my son that it was a "no brainer" when it came time to find an attorney for my grandson. Michael is very professional and effective with his representation. I hired Michael to represent me for my charge of "interference with an emergency call" (more like a misunderstanding with my own sweet old grandmother). Great attorney, Mr.Shaw got the least probation time offered to me dropped even lower than the first offer. I honestly feel like i have another chance to do the right thing with my life thanks to Mr.Shaw for getting me the minimum time possible. He was a appointed to me by the court yet still treated me like a paying client and reached out to whoever he could to get me the opportunity to correct my life before it got alot worse. Mr. Shaw actually was my boyfriends court appointed attorney. Typically you hear about the fears of having a court appointed attorney vs being able to hire an attorney. Mr. Shaw displayed compassion, and i could tell that he cares about each case reguardless if he is hired by a client or assigned as someones court appointed attorney. I believe he fights just as he would if he were being paid by someone who hired him to represent them or not. He was wonderful, and explained everything to us to make sure we understood, and the outcome was great! I would recomment him to anyone without a flinch!

Jane Fowler handled the final settlements of a will/estate, and was a blast to work with. She brings a sense of common sense to the legal world that all too many lawyers over look. She has personality and passion and understands nothing previously done is ever totally by the book.
When there was a missing clause in the will we were putting thru probate, she found all the undotted I's and uncrossed T's, and was able to fix them (legally of course) before the court could ask why they were not done. In other words, she came to court truly prepared.
When it came to teaching us what needed to be done to make things run smoothly, she was clear and concise, and spent just the amount of time (and our money) telling us what was needed. She didn't simply pad her schedule to increase her billable hours.
In court, She has shown fantastic talent in getting the court to work with her, seeming like she has established a good reputation with the judge as well as their staff (the people who actually make things happen).
Our day in court when smooth, without a hitch, and I credit her for knowing the answers to the questions the judge asked, without ever looking like she was searching for the answer, or surprised by the question.
In short, she is far from the stuffy 'suit' that most lawyers become, or who feel like their doing you a favor to take you money.
Instead, she tells you from the start how she is going to earn your money, and then sets out and does what she says.
If your expecting someone to blow sunshine, or make you feel like your right, when your not, this is not the attorney you want.
Rather, she is the type to tell you that you screwed up, if you did in fact do so and then bend over backwards to see you get treated fairly.

I worked at a long-term care facility as a Medication Nurse. The Director of Nursing reported me to DADS for a allegation of abuse. I have worked in the medical field for 10+years, and I love it!!! In a time when my husband and I were left devastated by a crime that he had committed and while other consulted lawyers described his case as desolate because of his early confession upon arrest, Christy Jack and Letty Martinez provided perspective and comfort. They were both prepared to utilize his confession as a mark of integrity and we felt confident in their defense and plan from the beginning. Letty helped me with phone calls to get my wife out of jail on a blue warrant that was no-billed when the charge was no-billed. I contacted this office because it was recommended by Justin T Holt office (which they were great, they just don't handle minors traffic ticket). I called this office and response was slow to none I would have to make call backs to get an answer via text. I asked for a quote which never received. I called the office for an update and the individual answering the phones was short and slight of rude. I would be in mid asking question and she would interrupt answering the question she thought I was going to ask. I wanted to work with them, but if this is the experience, it's not positive.

Scott represented on an eviction, which He won based on the notice was not received only the summons to appear from the constable. He had to do an Exparte for a Writ of ReEntry due to the person not adherring to the Dismal of the Eviction. Today we had the hearing on the Writ of ReEntry which Scott and his partner Bryce won. He gave me advice in 2014 I didn't take, in a divorce I should have gotten. Now its 2017 and here we go again. I contacted Anderson Law Firm right after my car was hit by an uninsured motorist. They assigned me to Robert and I'm extremely happy they did. Dealing with an injury and then the unbelievable bureaucracy of the OWCP is daunting. After a quick check of reviews I picked Andrew Douglas without much thought. How fortunate was I that I did.
I paid a retainer and he filed my paperwork in a timely manner. He never seemed rushed and took his time hearing my case and preparing my case.
OWCP denied it time and again, seemingly without even looking at it.
Months and months went by and he still continued to contact me, worked with me on monthly payments when I was destitute and couldn't work.
I was ready to give up and he offered to file a shot in the dark appeal.
Over a year later they responded and granted it.
I'm still battling with OWCP over medical, but it's a lot easier now that I have the compensation I deserved.
His empathy towards me and tenaciousness with OWCP gave me the will to keep going with the case, and honestly helped to keep me from drowning in the depression of the physical, mental and financial ruin I was in.
I hate that I'm writing this after the case was resolved, as it was my intention to do it long before. I would have left the exact same review of his services even if OWCP had denied the appeal.
My experience is that OWCP cares nothing for us federal workers, but I have felt from day one that Andrew Douglas does.

Wade was really great and helpful ... while in jail and post jail he worked with me and my fiancé to resolve numerous descrepancies in a case against me. I was given a plea deal by the DAvand it wasn’t looking good for me but I wanted to continue to fight as I was innocent and he did his best to continue my fight in court. With all the documentation gathered we proved my case. He didn’t accept the plea deal fought for me and my case was resolved as it should be ... I am thankful for his efforts and willingness to work with my fiancé when I wasn’t able to because we beat the charges ... I didn’t get time (2 years in prison) but a brief reinstatement of my probation which will be completed in less than six months ... with no more reappearances in court and only once a month check ins to my probation officer. We hired Mr. Bush after over a year with a different attorney who simply did not communicate well and appeared to be tired of working on our case, and we felt like we were going nowhere fast. We had the opposite, most favorable experience with Steven Bush. Our situation was complicated as the actual "client" has severe Alzheimer's Disease and still does not even know he had a "sexual touching" charge filed against him. He was incapable of standing trial, yet the DA refused to drop the case and this created a very difficult situation for our family. Mr. Bush took over the case with grace, integrity and amazing respect for the delicate state of mind of his client, my father. He truly went the extra mile, spent extra time and never made us feel like any question or concern was stupid or not worth his time. He also was very fair with his fees, never ever taking advantage of the time needed to work on the case. We adopted our daughter from Ethiopia and hired Mrs. Boone-Costantino as our attorney for the re-adoption in Texas. I met her many years before when she was working while in law school and was our wedding photographer. I knew from that experience that she had great attention to detail and was very professional. I had every confidence in seeking her help with our daughter's adoption in Texas. I assumed the international part of the adoption would have made the process a bit more complicated...maybe it did, but she never let us feel that. Stress was last thing we needed as new parents only home six months with a toddler. She was very organized and clear in her communications with me regarding all the required documents and forms. Without much notice, my father-in-law flew in for a visit (from out of the country), and she was able to get us a court date so that he could attend. The re-adoption was of course emotional for us, but also for our attorney. (How many people can say that?) She was there when our lives began together and again for the adoption of our first child. (I did apologize for making her teary-eyed in front of the judge). Especially in matters of family law, I think it is important to have someone working with you who really cares.
