I have been a practicing attorney for a few years and recently I received a complaint from a former client. The former client made a number of unfounded allegations and demanded a large sum of money to settle the claims.
I called my malpractice carrier feeling nervous and worried; shortly after that call I met with June Laird. She was professional, compassionate and intelligent. After reviewing the complaint, facts and documents with June I felt much better about the case.
She wrote a concise, thoughtful and easy-to-understand letter to the Attorney Regulation Counsel. She explained why each of my former client's claims was without merit. June kept me in the loop as she wrote the letter and regularly sought my input.
Unfortunately, June was injured during the course of my case. Despite her injury, she still kept me well informed. She told me that she was in the hospital and would be working on my case and still met the deadline.
Shortly after submitting the letter in response to the complaint, we received a letter from ARC informing us that even if the client were able to prove his/her claims, they did not represent a violation of the law or the professional rules of conduct. It felt good to have a third-party neutral validate my feelings.
June was exceptional - as an attorney I hope to provide the same level of competence and commitment to my clients.

In September 2023 I was wrongly accused of a crime which involved the Denver Police Department undercover officers. This was an extremely traumatic experience for my husband and children. Mr Lazarra was recommended to us by an acquaintance. From the beginning of our first consultation, Mr Lazarra was patient, understanding, professional, knowledgeable, confident and very well experienced. He was upfront and honest about what we should expect in the months to come. He was very reassuring and much of the anxiety and fear that I and my family were experiencing was relieved and we were far more confident that we would get fair justice in the end. And what a blessing that was to us. It was a long drawn out process to say the least, but we were prepared for it because Mr Lazarra was always there to answer questions and address our concerns. That meant so much to us. We never felt in the dark, neglected or forgotten. Mr Lazarra was never too busy to talk with us. He was always on time at the court house, never late for appointments and knew the prosecutors which made things move along more smoothly. Mr Lazarra knew exactly what to expect so there were no surprises and he was right about everything 100% all along the way. I can’t tell you what a relief that was to me and to my family. Yes it was a long process that only recently in July 2024 was resolved with a dismissal. I don’t think anyone can understand what a blessing it was to finally have this painful burden lifted off our shoulders thanks to Mr Lazarra. I did a great deal of research weighing who/what kind of attorney I hoped to work with on my divorce/modification case. I can honestly and emphatically say that I *cannot say enough wonderful things about Laurie Joe*. She (and her team) worked tirelessly on my case even in instances that she had other cases to attend to. There were even a few times where she was out of the office around the Holiday season and she still replied/called me in response to any emails during that time out. She answered all questions completely and if I still needed more information beyond the detail she provided, she willingly consulted others in order to get that information. She was an excellent sounding board for anything I needed and was very patient with me throughout the entire process. Laurie also kindly and honestly answered the dreaded "what would you do if in my situation" question, even if I did not like the answer. She also worked with my ex in a fashion that kept our situation as de-escalated as possible while maintaining the nature of what I wanted to accomplish. If you're on the fence about an attorney, working with Laurie will make you so happy you had her in your corner.

She was sympathetic to my problem, but had no suggestions at this time. She did have some concern over an FMLA issue but didn't expand as my problem is complicated and ongoing. So time ran short. I wish I could just sit down for an hour and discuss where I'm at in a LTD/EEOC situation.

After Diamond Reagor - a supposed Christian company spent $10k doing a terrible job. I was incompetent for the initial hearing & Chris knowingly agreed to a child support figure that was fraudulent. Today was the case that Diamond Reagor started & couldn’t continue because they failed to protect my finances. The court date was today & they DID not ensure I was notified or that my # was in the court system. I have a daughter & son now stuck with a woman who is abusive… Maybe my turn to file a lawsuit for the mess they failed to protect me from. CLOSE DOWN PLEASE!!!!

Our previous landlord wronfully kept our deposit. We had pictures and documentation as proof that everything was in order. However, we continued to receive threatening messages from him that not only stated that he was keeping our money, but that he was also charging us for "damages" (there weren't any damages). I called Bolor and she immediately gave me advice and took my case. She knew that we were unjustly being harrassed. She fought tooth and nail with this greedy person. She never gave up the fight. This man was constantly sending emails about "new findings" and she saw right through them. This man went as far as researching where our new home was, just to continue the harrassment. He even threatened Bolor during a court presentation! Still, Bolor never backed down, She fought with courage, strength, integrity and class. I admire her resiliance and her passion for ensuring that everyone is treated fairly regardless of their status.

I was referred to Bolor by someone I know. In 2013 a lawsuit was brought against me by a former employer. I was an independent contractor and had left his company, then went on to another company and brought in a huge roofing contract to this new company. When the former employer got wind of this, they tried to sue me for the amount of the contract, saying the work should have been done through them. They didn't have a leg to stand on or the law to back them up, but they figured I would settle and go away. That's where Bolor came in.
She immediately knew what they were trying to do and wanted to help me.
Because of her tenacity and knowledge of the law, she beat their attorney into the ground until finally after almost 3 years, they dropped the suit.
Bolor never once wavered and never quit fighting, even though I was in the arrears with what I owed her and her firm.
I am glad to say I was able to pay her firm the balance of what I owed them a few months ago, which was significant.
Bolor saved me a ton of money.
I will always hold her in the highest regard and I now consider her a part of my extended family.
