Robert Burford is amazing! I had a business issue and my lawyer from most respected law firms in Houston was handling it. This dragged for months and months: tons of aggravation, even sleepless nights, and over $100K in legal bills. A friend recommended to contact Mr. Burford. First he requested to send him all paperwork. After a week, Robert met with me and my partner on the morning before Christmas. His whole office was empty. He asked us what we wanted as the result of his involvement. He found our claim to be very reasonable. After he wrote a letter to the opposing attorneys and had a discussion with them, my partner and I got everything that we wanted. I'm always very thankful to Robert Burford.

Will knew every aspect of insurance law and helped me achieve an unexpected result from the very beginning of my large-scale apartment loss. My insurer said my loss wasn't covered, and Will ultimately determined they relied on provisions that didn't exist in my policy to deny my claim. He also determined they misapplied my deductible and tried to defraud me. Can't thank him enough for his efforts.

My partner and had our children ripped from us without warning. It was a complicated and not a common case for any attorney - especially in a conservative state and city like Houston, TX. I located Mark through Avvo.com. I was skeptical to pay $39 for 15 min of advice. It was worth every penny! If you are looking for an attorney who listens...REALLY listens to your concern and isn't in a rush he is your guy. I was arrested for possession of marijuana. Being my second offense, with a prior arrest back in 2007 for theft, left me really uncertain of what the outcome would be.The case took a lot of me, the DA told Mark, that because I've already had record he could not dismiss it. Mark was able prove that i was stopped without probable cause using the NTB off the police cruiser, which proved my story over the officers story which lead to a dismissal. I strongly recommend Mark, if you ever caught in a jam.

Marjorie is a no-nonsense, compassionate professional. She goes above and beyond to get things done and does it with such gusto you wonder what that tornado was that just passed you in the hallway!
An ugly divorce with a psychotic ex-wife and a beautiful child that was being used as pawn, she was filing for full custody.
Marjorie stood by our side, gave us the best advice and represented us even on occasions that we were unable to appear in court, due to being out of state.
We maintained custody of the son, we now have our legal visitation and even though we still have to deal with the psycho ex-wife, we keep it to a minimum and enjoy the time we have. We can't thank Marjorie enough for all the effort and determination she put in to help keep this family together.

I am a contractor for medical testing. A company I worked for owed me for testing I had done over a period of several months - but refused to pay. I tried over and over to work it out with them but they still refused. Finally I told them I would have to take legal action, to which they replied fine, we'll see you in court. Their attorney sent me several legal documents including a demand for the small claims court judge to drop the case. I didn't know what to do. I was afraid I would lose several months of my income. A friend of mine referred me to Byron Barclay.
Mr. Barclay was a great relief. He took the stress of dealing with the lawsuit and their intimidation away from me. We moved the case out of small claims into the big arena, and I was no longer on the defensive. Mr. Barlcay continued to press them for information and to justify their refusal to pay, all the while keeping me apprised of the situation and asking how I would like to continue. In the end, the company settled the case out of court and I was able to recover my lost wages in full. I was in an automobile accident in which I was hit from behind. I called the liable party’s insurance company to start my claim immediately, but knew based on the initial contact with them that they did not have my best interest in mind. I contacted Simmons and Fletcher where Rebecca Todd immediately began working on my case. She arranged billing agreements with medical providers which allowed me to be treated immediately and consistently without having to come out of pocket while waiting for the insurance company to pay out.
