I recently reached out to Jackson and Jackson, almost not expecting a reply because of the insignificance of the claim involved -- only to have Mr. Gary Jackson himself call me within minutes. He not only advised me on how I could handle the claim myself, Mr. Jackson also took the time to educate me on the process involved in submitting my claim and even clarified several points on which I had been misinformed and misled in my conversations with Worker's Compensation. He informed me that, to my surprise, I was actually entitled to a fixed settlement amount in addition to the bare minimum I had been led to believe I could collect. I am certain I never would have learned of this on my own.
I am beyond grateful for Mr. Jackson's invaluable counsel, but I find the kindness and respect with which he treated me, knowing he would not be representing me, simply overwhelming. Mr. Gary Jackson is the absolute best in my book, and I highly recommend his firm.

I hired Jen four years ago to represent me in what was turning out to be a VERY nasty divorce. I didn’t know at the time but it was the best decision I have ever made. Jen not only handled my case professionally but she went above and beyond, paying attention to every detail. My previous lawyer dropped my case due to my financial obligation in the middle of Trial. I consulted with Mr. Gold for my divorce case and he was able to work with me on a reasonable fee. Considering my case was up for Trial in 2 weeks, I was shocked he took my case last minute. The day of Trial, he and his paralegal made me feel at ease and put some personal attention to my case. I was able to get 50/50 custody and support and finally after 4 years I was divorced and now living a happy life with my children. Thank you so much Mr. Gold.

I called him for a consultation just before Christmas weekend. I let him know that I would call him if I wanted to schedule an appointment. After the long weekend he sent me multiple texts insulting me about the problem I had asked him about and then proceeded to threaten me for not hiring him as my lawyer. When consulting me he was very unprofessional and even asked if I had a friend I can pin it on.
Do not hire him!!! I'm glad I didn't! He is a very sketchy man. Very unprofessional. Very rude. You can tell he just wants your money.

I was on probation with my DUI case and foolishly drove under a suspended license. I am young and cannot afford a lawyer, but afraid to appear in court alone. I met with Mr. Jeffrey Gold and he gave me free consultation. I told him immediately, I don't have much money to work with here but would appreciate any advise you can give me. He went through my paperwork and said you need to do blah blah...and come back to me before your court date, I will help you. I was shocked he took his time to review my case without asking a dime. I came back to him 2 days before my court date and he still remembers me. He kept his word and appeared in court with me and only charge me for his time in court. The Judge greeted Mr. Gold as if she knew him, so my tension calmed a bit. In the end, I was so lucky I was given only 14 hours of community service. I swear i thought I was going to jail.

Willam Haywood sometime ago has rented a room from my 95-year-old grandma. We did not know it at the time, but William is a drunk that likes to get overly intoxicated and become belligerent with the caregivers that live in the home to take care of my 95 year-old grandma, since the time that he has been there, it has been an ongoing fight from broken windows to him going in and out all hours of the night slamming doors, keeping people awake and refusing to pay rent during the Covid pandemic. Bill sat in my grandmother's home for over a year and refused to pay rent and hide behind the system and he claims to be a man. He owes money to everyone and if you do your own research on Google, you will see that he has multiple liens against him for taxes, and some of his license are actually inactive due to lack of payment, which it will tell you on the Google search. Unfortunately, it would not allow me to attach a photo. He is currently in the process of hiding his vehicle due to being worried that it's going to be taken from the IRS for back taxes he is not a good person at all, and is all I can say to anyone that might hopefully read this review. Please do your research before hiring this person, thank you all and have a great day.

I had to make a few calls to find a lawyer who takes my civil case. While Bill doesn't work on the type of case I was seeking help for either, he was, after 6-7 calls, the only one that actually spent a few minutes to hear about my case so he could guide me the right way, and he did! He seems very knowledgable. We had a nice chat and I asked him for a link to his review page so I could leave him a review after he was so kind enough to help me, despite knowing my case doesn't make him a dollar. Every call before him took 10 seconds and I was told "sorry, we dont take these cases". no time wasted! Bye!
Many lawyers are motivated by the financial part of their job only. Few lawyers actually care about helping, and Bill is one of them. I highly recommend him, and if I need help in the future, I know who to call. Again, thanks Bill!!!

I hired Bill off of a craig's list ad claiming he could send a demand letter for $150.00
After insisting upon upfront payment ONLY in a money order (a bit suspicious) he began dragging his feet for weeks. It should have been a simple letter probably less than 1/2 hour of work - my demands were clear and obvious
Instead he actually had the gall to write that I was "the least of his priorities right now" and that he simply had better things to do.
I understand attorney's are busy and tried to be patient but my landlord/tenant issue was time sensitive. After waiting weeks I insisted he either send something in writing or simply return the materials to me.
Then came quite a few angry emails that were, quite frankly, absolutely juvenile. It's hard to believe this person is a lawyer. I have filed an official complaint with Calbar.org. Would definitely not recomment this attorney.

This attorney is a joke. She's never available or returns calls and seems to be unprepared for cases in court. After we hired her and lost our case we later found out she had been disciplined by the state for unethical conduct. Wish we'd done our homework before hiring her. She was/is a total embarrassment. How she passed the state bar is beyond comprehension. Learn from our mistake and find someone else.

Terribly rude people. Mr. Foz told me when I was talking to him about my case to pay attention he didn't want to have to say it twice. He did not want to have to repeat himself again. I've never been hurt and needed a lawyer why I tell you what it was not that long for him I would not recommend wasting your phone call absolutely terrible customer service and the reviews I see just a terrible law firm.

BEWARE !! This law firm Lyle tried to force us into an early settlement. I said I'm not even released from my doctor or had my surgery yet. My wife questioned him in regards do they have our best interest in mind or are they broke and have their own interest in mind. Become very defensive and rude and then withdrew from our case causing much more problems for us. So don't make our mistake and hire this company that will quit on you. Stay away. I wish I could publish the emails that they sent me. Do Not hire this company

I used to work at a big company for over 17 years.. got injured and need an attorney... what I did was asked some of my fellow peers to recommend a attorney which they did... most of them at the company used this 1 workman's comp injury attorney so I called the attorney and explain my case.... and in about 5 quick seconds I was told "I didn't have much of a case and there was nothing there that he could help me with"... so what I decided i'd do was to go on workman's comp lawyer site and explain some of my case and send it out to several attorneys and what I got back was "screening services" if you don't know what a "screening service" is... those are the employees that work for the attorney that get the case basics on these sites...then give the person in need of services a call and have them explain the details of the case... then what they do is tell you "we'll give this to the attorney and will call you to let you know if you have a case" so several of these attorneys "screening services that actually called me back... ALL basically said the same thing "you have nothing there... there's not much of a case?( can you believe this)... and then I got a call from ONE attorney... I REPEAT ONE actual attorney Lyle Foz... he took the time out of his busy client schedule to listen to me go over the case.. I told him detail by detail as I did the others... he stated to me that he believed there was something there and he with my permission would like to take my case on.... I said "you know you're the only one that actually called me back personally"...I give permission to take my case and I never regretted it... what I got was a "genius of an attorney" not only does he work for the client (common person) but he also works for the defendants(big companies) so he has the expertise in both areas and avenues of what happens in day-to-day work comp case on BOTH SIDES.... I was extremely blessed and fortunate to have him on my side.... not only did he practically take apart the defense... he even got a lot of big obstacles moved out of the way so my case was settled And over in 1yr & 8mths... whereas when little people take on big companies.. cases can drag out for over 5 years... he was right on time(thorough) very personable and extremely extremely knowledgeable... so if I were you.... I would definitely PAY HEED to this review and give Mr. Foz a call... you'll WON'T ever regret it!!

In the beginning, it was great. He was eager to help us and everything seemed to be going well until he signed us up. It took him forever to file the bankruptcy case and repeated emails/calls for status updates were ignored. It's as it was one way communication attorney... he wouldn't respond to any of our requests for updates; he only re-contacted us at the end of the process... not happy with the lack of updates and help after the case was over, but he did win the case in the end.

I hired Mr English for a divorce. I liked his no-frills website (which no longer exists) and that he is a vet. My case was a little unusual but he assured me he could help. I gave him $3000, and he got back to me with a case # right away. That was basically the last I heard of him. Phone calls went unanswered and unreturned. Emails were replied to with "I'll get back to you" and he never did. I even sent certified mail to his 3 addresses and no response. I ended up getting a new lawyer almost 2 years later. When I told him I was firing him and moving on, his response was "let me make this up to you". Unfortunately, making it up to me didn't include returning any of my $3000. So he got $3k from me for about an hour's work. To this day I don't know what happened.

Michael was recommended by a friend of the family for a divorce case. He might be good for other types of law but definitely not for divorce. He passed almost all of the work to his sister and only showed up to court. Instead of being offensive, his approach was to be defensive. For over a year he represented me & did absolutely nothing for me or my case.
One day we had a hearing; he decided that he shouldn't bother to go & told me not to go either. Thank God I went anyways & stopped my ex's lawyer from pushing the case back even further. Even before that day I was planning on firing him. Once he heard that I had gone to court & spoken up with the judge he sent an email telling me that since I don't need him he wants out from the case. What a joke!
I believe his goal is to only stretch the case to charge the client as much as he can. Hired another lawyer who helped settle the case in 4 months. Definitely DON'T hire this guy for a divorce case.

I hire Mr. Cote to represent me on a custody matter. Once we paid him, getting in touch with him was nearly impossible. He had major issues maintaining his staff and there was constant turnover in his office. Sadly, his own staff complained about this work ethic. Mr. Cote also threaten to remove himself from my case until I warn to report him I would report him to the state bar. I fired him shortly after…he is a very arrogant man. I would not recommend this attorney.

Unless this is something simple and easy; then your okay; but if you have major issues then she is not the one. She does not fight for you and the research and advise is not the best. She is a low cost; no thrills and will get the basic things done; but that's it. Does not do email or any technical tools to keep you up to speed. I always had a hard time reaching her and getting answers on my case.
