I hired Mr. Loturco when I was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor assault earlier this year. I had gotten into a fight at a hockey game with a man and he had decided to press chargers. He sustained injuries and I was facing 3 years probation along with payment of medical bills. Mr. Loturco assured me he would do everything he could to pursue the best possible outcome. After multiple court dates and a long trial, he got me the best possible outcome. I was found not guilty.
Mr. LoTurco’s incredible hard work and dedication to his craft made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. He updated me frequently on the status of my case and always kept me in the loop. He is extremely compassionate and genuinely cares about his clients.

In all truth, I bumped into dialogue with Counselor Houslanger completely by accident, under the erroneous impression that his firm was the latest to inherit an old judgment, presumed to be still in effect and in force, naming my mother as the Defendant, while in truth and in fact he was NOT the Counsel of Record. Nevertheless, he gave me an audience, he asked me for the Index #, he had the means and the desire to take some initiative in researching some basics about this old story, and as fate would have it, my mother's old judgment had been ordered to be vacated some five years earlier in a certain class-action matter. Counselor Houslanger then went out of his way to offer some basic instruction for the proper Pro Se steps to remedy the judgment in the Court of the first instance, which I imagine would have worked nicely if the Court staff at my mother's venue understood the procedure as well as he himself does. Bureaucrats seldom see beyond the scope of their own responsibilities, however. This attorney possesses a keen insight to the needs and concerns of ALL with whom he speaks, whether he's getting paid to listen and respond or not. And as long as he doesn't have any equity or interest in the other side of the case or docket, I'll call Todd Eric Houslanger before I call anyone, whether the matter to be addressed is a traffic summons, a criminal arrest, a debtor judgment, a divorce proceeding, a CBP Global Entry Reconsideration Hearing, a charge under the Espionage Act of 1917, or even a FISA Court matter. Regardless whether he'd be equipped and/or inclined to represent and/or to assist in the representation, this is clearly a man whose interactions are ALWAYS a matter of consequence. My only regret is that I encountered this man some seven years after my brother was crushed to death by a subway train. If there weren't so many liens pending in the current cause of action already, I'd fire all current counsel yesterday, and hire Todd Eric Houslanger today, without even checking his record of decisions in such matters. He knows the law; he knows procedure; and most importantly: he knows to treat EVERYONE well, and to speak to EVERYONE with respect, DESPITE the fact the ones with whom he speaks DO NOT have a title or even a degree. THIS one's an ATTORNEY people. NOT a fast-talking, used-car salesman with a license to practice law. NOT some JD who passed the Bar, and believes his license GIVES him license to be ill-mannered. I'm fully mindful that his fortes are in prosecuting debt collection, and in defending traffic-related and criminal matters. But once every great while, a man comes along who is so brilliant, so personable, and so well-mannered, that one truly cannot tell what is beyond the abilities of Todd Eric Houslanger's legal acumen, unless and until one discusses the matter WITH him, and dares to ask if he can help. Some 40 years ago I dared to debate William Rehnquist when I was a high school senior. Anyone familiar with that name should understand what I mean when I say that Counselor Houslanger is a genuine attorney, and a brilliant, well-mannered, and thoughtful gentleman.

If you want someone to screw you out your monies go to her I dealt with deformation and she sat there and allowed it everything I asked of her I get told wait for ops to expire guess what when ops expire she told me to do it myself no less the courts went to me the case is closed. I still don’t have my belongings and stuff I told her my sister’s manipulation of mom and sister’s intentions and guess what all my gut feeling no less proof was correct. Her going you don’t want to go to trial you’ll be embarrassed save your pride well I too when I could I contacted my nieces legal aid also had a nice chat she wasn’t thrilled my sister played her daughter a child I took care of since she was a infant to teens that live with me and mom on to hurt me I filled out a foil with family and children services found out even more lies told to me untrue. Thanks to a honest staff. At headquarters of family and children services telling me fill out a foil immediately. And after that year too my mother has had a fall and surgery and my sister walked just like she did when I lived there. Gosh on top my sister made sure other stuff was false all papers Natasha didn’t share with me just helped them scare me more and go I am happy you got your own place and move on with your life while my sister hovers over mom and controls her gains moms house when mom dies but while mom alive mom paying for all the food, the house costs as well the yard work even a electrical
Pole outside on mom and the town’s property was about to snap sister didn’t report it to make sure yard safe for mom to mom able to do everything she said she was too old to do when I lived there but not I ain’t there she doing it and sister is living on her and oh well where is the justice huh when my mother ends up in a wheelchair or worse and then people will go why wasn’t anything done. Natasha you knew the lies etc gosh even I had audio proof to clear my name no less the first police report and others could been fought since I lived in that house 7 months after first time sister attacked me and flipped the storyline to accuse me no one would have someone live in there home for 7 month after that accusation no less order the person to stay home with them the person would have been removed immediately and Natasha you know it. I would think after all this time you’d make things right for me I was even told no attorney charges a retainer fee for each op so you did more then lie you scammed me and even communication between you and other attorneys you pulled out my file on top she love canceling your appts with her last minute like 5 minutes prior so for me to drive in pain to my sister in law taking time off work to go with me lost her wages for that time to never available on the phone it is a tag game so she could charge me for the office to take the call for her then she get back when fits her to cause her staff would know nothing. I am putting it on here to arm people she destroys your life with those doing perjury. Like her saying the legal aid for my niece wants and doesn’t say all but see doesn’t even play the proof to the child’s legal aid that the kids needs help but Natasha does go to me something wrong with my sister year to call me crap since she pregnant with her child but leaves me caring no less for the child but the child to live with me 24/7 for me to take child out for me to have calls that she needs me to help the child’s doctor with medical cause I use same doctor to she calling it aunt days meaning I am to no only take child out to movies lunch dinner alone with me but to pay for it etc and no I will not be threatened to take down review you destroyed my life with the monster and lied to the courts and let me take a beating for stuff I find do like I said 7 months in that house something completely wrong no less what was done once sister thought court mediation was done no less I was mislead it was a judge when it wasn’t. Now see it I was lying then why she doesn’t see her grandsons like she did when I lived there seems to be my other siblings saw the truth

I'm not the best writer but let me give a try to describe the experience with Mr. Michael Jannuzzi as this website asks.
When I needed someone to defend me Michael took it upon himself to travel and personally vouch for me with the judge...who claimed to "know me" better than Michael did despite our years acquainted. I mean, the judge was clearly angry with me and Michael said "But your honor...I know this guy he is ok!" something like that...
How did we get to that point?
I think the first time we worked with Michael Januzzi was for our house closing several years prior where he clearly showed the sellers and bank representatives that we were well represented.
Next was for things that perhaps I am not proud to admit but Michael Jannuzzi will indeed defend you to the best of his ability, not only to the point that you "paid for" or try to make an easy deal with the district attorney or judge. He is NOT the type (and I'm sure we have all met the type) to say "send the money then we will talk" I believe that Michael looks for the good in people and feels that anyone can change, even if they are in some trouble in life. This is one of the things that helped me get out of the rut I was in and turn my life around.
I cannot tell you how good it feels...the relief you get when sitting in a jail cell, powerless to defend yourself then Michael shows up to let you know with straight talk what is going on, what the judge thinks and that he is there not only fighting but advocating for you.
I went from having a decent life and home to being down and out. Without Michael and others I may never have made it back to a normal life.
I got into serious trouble for not showing up to court nearly 2 years and was hauled in on a bench warrant. The charges were serious too. I already owed Michael so I did not call him or mention him. When I met the judge I was alone. I told the judge I needed public defender. She saw my record and that Michael Jannuzzi was my lawyer previously and asked why ("Michael" she called him) was not there to represent me. I told her that I did not want to bother him...She said well, "you are going to need him and I want to find out what your deal is so I will call Michael him in here myself." Sure enough the cavalry arrived and I nearly cried when I saw Mike.
All the while Michael never asked me for a dime or even made me feel uncomfortable about not being able to pay him while spending hours or complete days of his time on my problems. Always took my calls, always did his absolute best despite the fact that I even deserved to be punished.
Mike explained to me that the judge was determined to let me spend some time behind bars and that I should just accept that but he will make sure he does everything on his part to follow me along and didn't leave me feeling like I was alone. I think he had to go to court at least 3 times for this and Michael showed up and worked for my best interests each time.
I have tried a few other lawyers because I live outside NY now and had terrible experiences. If you read that someone was ripped off by a lawyer then it is likely true.
You will have a hard time finding a lawyer or a man who who you can trust like Michael Jannuzzi.
It is without hesitation that I recommend Michael as one of the best lawyers available to represent in whatever legal entity you require. If he says he can do it...let him do it.

When an attorney states not interested because a significant monetary gain is not involved, one is then forced to ask - why is that more of a priority than supporting and protecting the Rights of those who come to you for help - - like the oath doctors take, Do no harm. Mr. Goldstein represented me with respect to allegations of zoning violations and disputed claims of land ownership with respect to waterfront property. Resolution of the matter required research into very old land records and marshaling of testimony with respect to the age and use of structures erected prior to enactment of land and waterfront building codes. I was impressed by his knowledge of the law and his ability to focus on the critical issues. His representation of me before the zoning board was first-rate, as were his efforts on my behalf during the lengthy and difficult negotiations that followed the hearing. Michael Leavy had come highly recommended from a Real Estate Professional that I had worked with over the past several years. (Personally, I think that word of mouth is the best form of a compliment.) I called Mr. Leavy when we were refinancing our home and received time sensitive paperwork that needed to be addressed. I was very scared and confused but took the time to interview a few attorneys. As soon as I met Nina I felt that I had found a great attorney that I could rely on. Just from the consultation I thought that Nina was very knowledgeable and had a lot of experience. Just as important to me was that I could tell that Nina truly cared about her clients. The real proof came when we had a conference with my husband, his attorney, me and Nina. Before that conference, my husband was very angry and told me that his attorney told him that this would be a drag out fight. Nina out performed my husband’s lawyer during the conference. During the conference Nina even impressed my husband! She did her homework: she had all of the information regarding our finances and presented the reasons and law for the offer she had put together. She was so confident and convincing that after the conference, my husband questioned the advice his attorney gave him and we ended up settling on terms which were very good for me and our kids. Our agreement was fair to everyone and neither I nor my husband spent a ton of money. I highly recommend Nina. She gives on target, practical advice and got my divorce done quickly.

Friendly, honest, knowledgeable ... Mr. Fine is the only lawyer, (and believe me, I've called several) that was willing to really listen to me , not assume he had all the facts. He took the time to understand my problem, then explained my options making sure I completely understood everything he had to say. If I had any questions, and I can honestly say, I didn't have many, he explained thoroughly without giving me that annoying "I've already explained this" attitude you get from most lawyers. My Divorce was a real life test for me, over 4 years ago. Fred and his staff was an awesome team. They were professional, dependable and very trustworthy. Fred had a calm and stable personality. However he was no pushover in the courtroom.
He also was a great example for me as I went through a long painful divorce. Staying positive, focused and remaining calm is just a few examples that Fred set before me. There are too many to name.

Divorce is a very painful process, both emotioanlly and financially. Fred and his staff were always there for me in the years of proceeding, supporting me in all aspects, and afterward as well. It’s very difficult to walk a straight line in the grinder, but honestly, Fred’s ethical, rational and experienced advises, occasionally, over my bitterness and objections, kept me from losing sight of what’s at stake. Fred is personable, experienced, with a patience and humility that one could say like a teddy bear. But not be mistaken, he’s no pushover in the courtroom or negotiations. He knew what’s on the line.
