Nathan is a great patent attorney with great attention to detail in all aspects of patent law. He is easy to communicate with and has great ideas about how to approach a particular patent hurdle. 2 people who politely introduced themselves as the "New owners" of the building in which we lived later served everyone in our apartment with Unlawful Detainers & Eviction Notices although we had a lease with owner who too lived in the same building as all of us.
With ownership of building being disputed in court, still being threatened with Unlawful detainers and eviction, Scott advised us to continue to pay our rent in a timely manner to the "new owners".
Although another tenant & I had the exact same case, we chose Scott, our neighbor did not.
The "new owners" suddenly and without any forewarning changed their lawyer and ask us to pay all the back rent in one lump sum. No explanation even though past checks would still be honored.
Scott advised us to comply, our neighbor's attorney advised otherwise.
The end result, we were finally recognized as tenants whereas our neighbor still faced many legal challenges to come. (big mistake on his part)
Now that almost a year of harassing behavior on the part of the "new owners", was finally put to rest, the terms of the lease stated that the losing party would pay for the legal fees.
Our case was heard before a judge and at first, we lost.
With facts in hand, Scott knew it wasn't right so we appealed and had the initial judgment overturned in our favor.
From this past experience, lessons learned are that not all attorneys behave the same. Initially, some are like cheer leaders who are full of energy and give clients high expectations. As time goes by, many of those same lawyers either become "too busy" or lose touch with their clients.
Scott is not one of them. He is what you would call a truly "down to earth" type of person who is easy to talk with and to his clients, always readily available.
Legal representation and advice is always an investment and finding a competent, hard working attorney to work on your behalf is not easy in a sea of "lawyers"...

If you need a U.S. Patent, I recommend using Raymond Sun - do not try to file on your own. Raymond knows the way U.S. Patent Examiners think and he communicates in their "professional" language. I know this because I attended a phone call session to the Examining Attorney at the USPTO. She had questions about the application and everything went well and I was awarded a patent. I have referred my family to him as well.

Ms. Keller was suggested to us by a highly respected Federal Defense Attorney and currently a sitting Judge. Ms. Keller demonstrates a depth of knowledge and then extended extraordinary effort on our behalf, while, with Irish wit, and very straight forward lecture, reminding that no one is 100% right, and to correct what might be viewed as a more serious problem in the future. Ms. Keller's parting words "Hope never to see you in my office again" are sincere. Strange to give 5 stars to someone who is so honest? No, is what a client needs from a good attorney. Ms. Keller is what other attorneys should use as a role model.

Kate Hartman is terrific. She is handling my case and she is on-task, responsive, ethical and very thorough. She is also prepared and has always been early when we are scheduled to meet. I am a Plaintiff in a case and she has patiently listened to hours of details regarding my case. Kate Hartman not only understands the information provided to her - she is able to communicate this information in the depositions and when filing declarations, interrogatories, etc. Although I know Kate has other cases and work to do, when I call with a question, she is available to take my call and makes me feel as if I am her only client. She is able to listen without interrupting and after each meeting, phone conversation with Kate I feel confident that she knows what she is doing. I do expert testimony and spend a lot of time with attorneys and in court and I highly recommend Kate Hartman as a very qualified and proactive Attorney.

My first patent lawyer was very knowledgeable. However whenever I had a question, he would give me a brief and unfriendly response. As if his time was too valuable for me. Eventually, I switched to Danny for his services. Even though his practice is young, he is always willing to answer a question and re-explain a certain procedure. He returns phone calls promptly and happily. I feel like he's a consultant on my team. When he is not sure of an issue, he makes notes and gets back to me promptly, via email or a phone call. He gets all questions answered. In many occasions he goes above and beyond by sending relevant information that might be useful to me and my business. Danny has very strong social skills. For an attorney he is not intimidating. I strongly recommend Danny if you are an inventor, need a trademark or need any other of his services.

If you are looking for a hardworking, trustworthy, responsive attorney, then Kristin Godeke is the attorney for you. Kristin worked side by side with my attorney Michael Dawe on a "duty to defend" case against Liberty Mutual. Kristin held my hand throughout the entire case. We took the case through a jury trial in Federal court and were successful. Kristin kept me informed on an almost daily basis regarding any updates in the case from the time we filed the case all the way up to the start of the trial. Kristin assisted in handling this insurance case for me but she is also experienced in many other areas of corporate law. My mother and I hired Mr. Fieldsted after my father suddenly passed away. We needed his help getting properties not listed in the trust to be put in my moms name/in the trust. We also had him create a new trust for my mom. He was honest and up front about the cost and was very accurate about length of time things would take. Since we liked him so much he has since dissolved an LLC for us, advised us on property sales, had him create a unique power of attorney, and evict a tenant. I highly recommend Mr. Fieldsted.

It was my pleasure to be represented by Brett & Heidi.
Initially dealt mainly with Brett where I got my child back after a Fake DV order was filed and granted against me with weak evidence.
After we finished the first hearing I got 50% custody of my child, and Heidi took over from Brett at that point.
The other party does not follow our court order, and constantly lives in a where double standards is okay. Heidi is efficient in her wording to detail and highlight the issues in writing to opposing counsel, letting them know how their client is violating the court orders. Everything is properly documented with evidence of communication.
Heidi is busy, I can imagine that when you're amazing at what you do you'll be in demand but she typically gets back the same day or next.
I can't recommend Heidi enough, she is professional, swift, and gets the job done.

Mr. Whiteside helped me when the owner of the home I was renting tried to evict me on false pretenses. He worked diligently to find that the eviction was unlawful and that the owner just wanted me out so that they could sell the property. He worked with the property management company that was forced to act on behalf of the actual owner to come to a peaceful resolution. After two letters to the owner and property management company pointing out the grounds for which they were trying to evict me were illegal and we would pursue further legal action, the situation was resolved and I am currently still residing in the home until the end of my lease.
