Gail Kenowitz is extraordinary! I divorced in 1991 and, at that time, I was too stressed to even think about the future. I remember telling her at that time that I did not care about his pension and wanted nothing from him. I remember her standing in her office with her hand on her hip saying
“I will not allow you to do this - you may need it someday”. Move forward to 2018. When it was time for my ex husband to retire he had to give me part of his pension. Although I am in a better place today than all those years ago I decided to take it so my children could benefit from it. I am very grateful to Gail for having the vision so many years ago!

I was in heavy litigation trouble i was dealing with a family court battle like not many people could ever go threw my sons rights were in jeopardy being ripped away from him forever.

I had some very bad lawyers represent me in my prolonged divorce case. Needless to say I carried much disdain in my heart for divorce lawyers. The opposing lawyer was a lawyer straight from hell. After 13 years in the special education system - my daughter went undiagnosed as being on the Autism Spectrum - After my child old me she had contemplated ending it all - because she just did not fit into her school.... in desperation I sought out an attorney to help me. Lisa asked to meet my daughter - after 30 min with her ,she told us she was on the spectrum - and strongly urged us to have an independent evaluation . After the evaluation came back that she had PDDNOS - Lisa fought to get my daughter the correct placement - in less then 4 months she was able to get the district to allow her placement where she flourished and received the support she needed. Lisa saved my daughter from a life of misery - Once we know what was "wrong" we were able to fix it - Now she is maturing and advancing - My family will always be eternally greatful to Lisa - She did what 15 years of dr and 13 years of education could not do = evaluate my daughter properly and get us the help she needed -

Lisa was on top of everything from the moment we spoke. Educated us on the rights of our child and made sure he was correctly placed and all services were given to him as my child with ASD deserved and was not receiving. Would definitely recommend to any parent who has a child with special needs and can't get the school district to listen. Lisa will not give them a choice, knows the rights of children and genuinely cares and gets innolved. Lisa goes after the school district as if it was her own child.
