I consulted and hired Michael in 2012, after I was in a multi-car accident. This was an extremely difficult time for me as not only did I sustain injuries in the accident, but my 6 year old daughter was also in the car with me and I was 6 months pregnant. I was unsure as to what I should do with regards to my own health, how it had effected my unborn child and also what lasting effects this would have on my 6 year old. The entire situation was very emotional for me and when speaking with Michael he was always very sensitive to my needs as well as those of my children. Whenever I had a question he would always take my calls or get back to me as quickly as possible. He communicated with me effectively throughout the entire ordeal even ensuring that I was doing all I needed to not only for myself but my daughters as well. Michael basically held my hand through all the legal matters and assisted me in preparing mentally for each testimony I had to give. If it was not for Michael's guidance, compassion and dedication to ensuring that me and my family were taken care of I do not believe I would have been able to get through my ordeal. I was involved in a horrific automobile accident whereby I suffered serious injuries and an interruption in my professional endeavors. Initially I was beside myself; I was in constant pain, unable to walk and required surgery (two times) .The excruciating pain left me always in an agitated and uncooperative state of mind. I suffered from Depression and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as well. Throughout the ordeal Mr. Acker was able to maintain a rapport and keep me at ease, while acknowledging the urgency to mount an effective legal defense.
He was never dismissive, was oh so very patient and understanding. Robert was honest, reliable and offered available alternatives to resolve my personal injury suit. He educated me about the legal process, and did keep me informed every step of the way. He also accompanied me to various medical appointments. Mr. Acker was very professional with a varied skills set. He was methodical and thorough paying attention to detail as he advocated on my behalf to secure a very large settlement.
In the advent of a technological society, compassion and human kindness appears to be becoming a lost art in industry and client care. I was very impressed (and it takes a lot to impress me) with the exceptional service which was afforded to me by Mr. Acker and his staff. I have sung his praises to my colleagues and family. I had gotten into an accident where a meat refrigeration truck made an illegal turn, failed to yield, and cut me off. The insurance company was willing to settle for 80/20 stating that it was 20% my fault when I had whitnesses who saw the accident state that it wasn't my fault at all. John worked his hardest and persuaded the insurance companies that it was 100% the truck's fault. He was always available to answer any of my questions and got back to me in a quicker-than-expected timely manner. Working with John was a pleasure. He knows the ins and outs of car accidents and helped me to receive the chiropractor services, massage therapy, and acupuncture therapy that I needed for over a year after my accident! He was so on-top of my case that often, when we would both recieve letters from no fault, he would contact me before I had the chance to get in touch with him to see if I had any questions. God forbid I ever get into another car accident you can rest assured that I will absolutely reach out to John again!!

Gail Kenowitz is extraordinary! I divorced in 1991 and, at that time, I was too stressed to even think about the future. I remember telling her at that time that I did not care about his pension and wanted nothing from him. I remember her standing in her office with her hand on her hip saying
“I will not allow you to do this - you may need it someday”. Move forward to 2018. When it was time for my ex husband to retire he had to give me part of his pension.
