I was looking to buy my first house and reached out to Michael. He was very calm and composed and explained me the complete process of home buying and made me feel at ease. I decided at that point itself that he will be my lawyer. The home buying process is lengthy and complex but Michael was always there to explain each step in the process and guided me whenever required. Also he provided great insight which really helped me and negotiated on my behalf with the seller so I can get the maximum sellers credit. He and his team really made the process smooth and kept me on track to close the house much sooner than the offer closing date. On the day of closing there was last minute issues that came up but Michael was quick to identify a solution which really helped me to close the house.

I was naive to the judicial system never even caught a jay walking ticket but yet the initial counsel I hired wasn’t acting in my best interest So w/out going into detail I had a criminal case in Municipal court going to court every month for a year I was deflated Until I fired my lawyer & hired Mr hudnut

My attorney fought for my freedom as if it was his own. He constantly stayed in contact with me, kept me informed about my case and what he was discussing with the prosecutor. I was facing 7 years in prison while being represented by previous council. When I hired Jacob he immediately told me that he would get that reduced. Our first court appearance he spoke with the prosecutor and pointed out every flaw in there case, said if they can’t work something out he’d be filing motions to have everything dismissed. I walked into John's office one day after finding out that my landlord was charging me more than the legal rent-controlled rent. John was incredibly well versed in landlord-tenant law, rent control in particular, and immediately filed a lawsuit for treble damages under the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act. We ultimately prevailed and I recovered more than three times the amount that I was overcharged, plus all of my attorney fees. I first contacted John when I found out that my landlord had overcharged me for my rent-controlled apartment. He was very well versed in rent control law, and advised me to sue under the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act. In less than one year, the landlord paid me three times the amount that I was overcharged and all of my attorney fees. Carolann Aschoff was my attorney in my recently completed divorce. Although my divorce was extremely amicable and my ex-wife and I had pretty much decided and agreed on everything prior to the papers even being filed I felt the need to have an attorney review our property settlement agreement to ensure that I was protected and I chose Ms. Aschoff. I contacted Koles, Burke & Bustillo,L.L.P because the firm I was using prior had made so many mistakes on my case.
I couldn't get appointments with physical therapists, doctors or anything else - the firm wouldn't even get back to me when I called, this went on for so long and i had enough.

I can't speak highly enough of Aurel. I told my client to call Aurel for his services for the sale of his property and am beyond happy I did. The sale started off pretty easy and quickly turned into a nightmare due to a lot of unforseen circumstances. It took us three times to get the property sold and Aurel stuck with us the whole time. He is an absolute professional and knows his craft in and out. Not only is he an excellent lawyer but he is a down-to-earth, great guy. He didn't heavy hand us because he was the lawyer and we weren't, he spoke to us with respect and came from a place of wanting to do his best to help. Matt handled my divorce proceedings simply and efficiently. Over a half a year ago I was charged with a fourth degree felony due to simply being at the wrong place at the wrong time as I never looked for trouble my entire life. In my case, I found myself in a situation where trouble found me. Never having worked with a criminal defense attorney, I wanted to make sure I found one of New Jerseys most reputable. My search ended with the Tormey Law Firm and an opportunity to have attorney Chirag Mehta work on my case. Attorney Chirag was extremely dependable and showed up for all my court appearances on time and when he could not for good reason, which happened only once, he made sure I was in good hands with another one of his fellow attorneys. Attorney Chirag worked hard and was very knowledgeable and kept me informed throughout my case. Whenever I had a question or concern he was able to answer with confidence and provide me with reassurance. By the end of my case Attorney Mehta was able to drop my case down from a fourth degree felony to a boro ordinance, which is an extremely huge jump!
