From start to finish we had a terrible experience with this office and our realtor Sharon Breslau, who pushed us to work with them, not disclosing a personal and financial connection with this law firm.
They are so disorganized and disrespectful it’s astounding. We were bounced from assistant to assistant, the proper paperwork for our closings was not collected which meant we had to run around finding notaries and sending documents multiple times when they simply could have had some forethought or cared at all about us and our experience as clients. The day of the closing they called us for documents they should have known they needed when we had already moved abroad - what?!?!
My wife and I each used them to sell a property at the same time and repeatedly told them we were a married couple. Adding insult to injury they repeatedly referred to us as sisters - again… WHAT?!?!
This office is absolutely terrible.

Antony is an amazing person who will collaborate with you to plan your will and estate. He listened carefully to our needs and concerns and answered our questions in a thoughtful considered manner. After the will and estate plan was created, he went through the document with us, answered our questions and made some edits to the final documents. Afterwards he met with our children individually and went through the documents with them and answered their questions.
I have been happy to recommend him to some of our close friends. Their experiences have been very positive and similar to ours.

Michael represented our son through his SORA nightmares first in the Ulster County Court in Kingston and then in appeal in Albany's State Supreme Court. He won the downward departure motion from a level 2 (moderate risk) to a level 1 (low risk) on appeal based upon the psychometric testing of Dr. Megan Wright and the profiling provided by Chris Farrell. This is a very important decision because it specifically holds that psychometric testing is an independent ground for a downward departure. Michael was brilliant both in the Ulster County court, where the judge chose to ignore everything Michael presented, and in the State Supreme Court where wiser minds prevailed. We would hire Michael again in a heartbeat.

Michael Pollok is not only an excellent attorney, but he is a compassionate and principled human being and I could not recommend him more highly. Michael was an excellent attorney. One of the biggest complaints with attorneys is failure to communicate. The day we called his office we received a return call that day. From then on he personally answered all of our questions promptly. He was on top of the case up to and including the arraignment. He was able to negotiate a plea deal from a DWI to a DWAI. We are so thankful for all of his hard work and would definitely recommend him..

We had a personal family crisis when my dad was injured badly and my family was devastated. We'd heard great things about Mainetti, Mainetti and O'Connor so we called them. First of all we got a real person, even thought it was 8:15 pm at night. We met with Al Mainetti the very next morning, and he reassured us that everything was going to be okay. His manner was soothing and put my very upset dad at ease right away. Al walked us through tthe process and he even brought in his other lawyers to get their opinions too, which I thought was great. They are a real team. The whole office is calming! It's not like a regular law firm where everyone is stuffy. This put my dad's fears to rest. Al Mainetti and Joe O'Connor wound up getting my dad money for his injuries and it was over super quick. I love this firm and they did right by my family. I would trust them with my life in a heartbeat.

When I was charged with a felony DWI I need a lawyer who listen, care for and defend me to the best of their ability. Having children and a career, I knew that loosing my license would be detrimental my children's lives because I could potentially loose my job or need to quit my job. I had initially hired a larger firm, with the mindset that "you get what you pay for." After a few weeks, I found myself to be utterly disappointed with my decision. I signed the contract and payed the fee, but nobody would return my calls in regards to my case, or call me to update me on my case. I felt like I was in the dark. Then when I finally did receive a call, instead of the lawyer talking to like their was hope, he talked to meet like I was just another case in their case load. I was utterly disappointed in my decision. I then began saving money to seek out other representation. A coworker of mine suggested I meet with Attorney Melanson. After meeting with him for a short time, I realized he was the person I needed from the beginning. He made me feel like he had my back at a time when I desperately needed someone to. Attorney Melanson returned my calls almost immediately, was honest and upfront about my case from the beginning, and treated me like I was his most important client. He made sure I knew the worst possible outcome but fought incredibly hard to get the best possible outcome. In the end, my case was reduced significantly. I used John Dunne of Ryan Roach & Ryan to represent me in the purchase of my new home. We were dealing with a very challenging seller and a process that was drawn out to 5+ months as a result of lots of delays and small issues from the seller and their attorneys. John, Teresa, and Terri were the right balance of persistent and calm. I applied for asylum and consulted with Dan Green to help me prepare for my interview at the asylum office. Dan worked with me as a good professional of his job —he was very focused on my case, becoming quickly familiar with my situation. Beyond that he also explained that my particular injury was obvious and really didn’t require anything more than having the proper paper work filed. Last week my company needed legal advice with an issue that could have easily gotten out of hand. I was referenced this law office by a friend when I was being confused with the amount of paperwork I kept receiving from the workers compensation board and New York state insurance fund. I made the call and received a call back within 15 minutes. The receptionist took my information and had everything ready for my appointment then next day. I walked into the office and didn't have to fill out any paperwork. It was all handled for me. I was early to the appointment and Rebeccah was on time. She sat down with me for a little over a hour and explained to me every paper I brought to her, She explained in detail everything that she would be doing for me. She is extremely helpful and patient with all the questions I had. I can't stress this enough but she seems to be a very motivated attorney and I'm happy she is working with me.

Met this attorney for a consult. Smart and straightforward. For example, attorney explained why the case was in the current state and gave a honest reason why a consult was the only course of action - at this time. I came away with the impression that this law firm remembers its about their clients. I know I received excellent information. Moreover, I go to a lot of offices, this practice is buttoned up - example the receptionist had documents prepared and when I arrived there was no "here's a clipboard come back when complete" this receptionist handled the startup and got the ball moving quickly. I truly regret not coming to this firm earlier.
