I engaged Robin Beattie to represent me when my ex-husband filed a motion to terminate the maintenance he had agreed to during our divorce proceedings. My attorney had since retired, and I reached out to Robin for representation. She gave me realistic expectations when we first met...what this would cost if it indeed when to court, why considering a settlement had merit, what my chances of prevailing were, and what to expect on this journey. Everything she told me in that initial discussion turned out to be spot-on. During this emotionally-charged and challenging journey, Robin was a voice of professionalism, expertise, compassion and wisdom. She made thoughtful decisions around how/where to spend my money to provide the best outcomes, always knew the details of what was occurring in the lead-up to court, kept opposing council accountable for what they were to be doing, and built a legal case with great merit.
Robin’s level of preparation for my court case was beyond impressive. Several weeks before my court date, she had prepared her entire case, enlisted feedback from her team at the firm, worked with me to clarify points and ensure my comfort with it, and explained the variety of strategies she was employing for my case. Robin Beattie...best Lawyer for family law. I never had to retain her. I "consulted" with her about 4-5 times over a couple years on how to proceed with my ex. She didn't want me to waste my funds because she knew I was a single parent only receiving $150/month child support. She didn't just teach me the law and help me represent myself to the courts, she taught me how to speak and present myself in a way the courts will listen. She helped me to stand strong and keep fighting for my girls. Which I did. In the end I had a Decision Maker dismissed, a Child Investigation Report thrown out that stated they should live with their Dad and, the best part, standing up to a narcissistic and abusive person defeated him and he signed over full custody with the snap of my fingers. I'm a shark because of her. I not only won against the ex and the courts, I carried all of the skills I learned from her into my business and day to day life. I might not be a lawyer, but I sure do know the law better than I did. The most important lesson I learned through my time with Robin was that the courts do not care about how you feel. Not at all. They care about the law so you have to speak to them like you're a law book.

When one goes through a divorce, it's easy to let one's emotions drive the train. Robin managed to be completely empathetic to my feelings while still keeping things in perspective as to what ultimately mattered. I think a lot of attorneys stay detached so they can stay professional, or they get too emotionally involved in their clients situation. I'll scenarios are completely understandable in my opinion , but Robin does neither. She's warm yet professional. I can't recommend her highly enough

I have been working with Travis for 8 years, and he has been an incredible lawyer, advisor, leader and (unknowingly) therapist! I have been holding out and saving my review for Travis and his team for when my ex wife stops taking me to court! Unfortunately, that has not been the case! What I do find to be reassuring is that I know Travis always has my back and is always fighting for what is in my son's best interest, my best interest, our best interest. Travis always listens and ensures he understands what it is I am feeling and needing before developing a plan. He is very strategic in everything he does, and wastes no time getting where we need to go. Travis will take the risks worth taking and when he takes them he does so with a huge heart and great passion. Travis is true and pure and I am a better person having met him.

In July of 2020, I was falsely accused of Domestic Violence.
I had no idea what to do here. I was given Maureen's name by a friend of mine. Since I had never been in trouble before I was totally clueless on the way the courts/justice system worked. Maureen explained everything to me basically holding my hand throughout the whole procedure. I didn't realize that a person can be thrown in jail for DV. After this happened to me Maureen was able to get me out of jail very fast. Maureen is a very good attorney that she is easy to talk to, understands the legal system, and can stand up for her client. Maureen was able to convince the prosecuting attorney that there was not enough evidence to go to trial.

Maureen J. O'Brien Is the best choice in lawyers I could have asked for. She is a very knowledgeable Criminal Lawyer and very good at translating and explaining law to this laymen. She helped me with a DWAI and traffic charge. She was very supportive when I was feeling the weight of these charges. When children are involved - especially when the safety and care of those children - it is a challenge for a loving parent to see anything but red. Amy's calm guidance and understanding of process, law and advocacy has been incredible.
I'll add that while some attorneys seek frivolous actions or motions to pad their fees, Amy's careful stewardship of not only the individual but the funds which go to support the children in question is commendable.

I cannot do justice to Craig and his staff in the limited space available. I have known Craig for 35 years. He has represented my wife and I in 2 separate instances over the years. In my circumstance, communication was very important and challenging. Due to a head injury, my wife suffers short-term memory issues. I was always able to reach my personal injury attorney, and my questions regarding my motor vehicle accident claim were always answered timely. My dad's employer refused to provide his insurance benefits. I contacted Robert and he helped him through the process. My wife and I hired Mr. Damschen to defend us against a complicated lawsuit filed against us by a reckless and negligent hardwood flooring contractor. Mr. Damschen initially provided us with free phone consultations and then we hired him to represent us.
Mr. Damschen is personable, cordial and easy to speak with as he does well to translate legal jargon into common English. He was always well prepared and did considerable research to stay on top of the case.
He was successful in getting a number of claims against us withdrawn or dismissed and ultimately put us in a good situation to address the true matter at hand which was complicated by the contractor's frivolous claims.
In the end Mr. Damschen was able to get us in a position to make a very reasonable settlement offer to avoid further legal costs.
We would highly recommend Mr. Damschen to anyone who is dealing with a construction defect or a contract dispute.

Darrell did an exceptional job of determining all that would be required and making contacts with all necessary players. He kept several of our people in the loop not just me. He guided the proper funds resources needed for the bidding process. He acted as our representative in the bidding process at the county office. Rose has had many years of experience with elder law and services for the elderly, including estate planning, and with how laws work in Colorado. She did my will for a reasonable flat fee, which made me feel at ease, not on the clock, while i asked numerous questions and she answered them patiently. Rose was meticulous and detail-oriented going through various options and scenarios, and gave me some good suggestions and warnings about what not to do. Her staff is efficient, too.

My wife Jennifer and I had a very warm, professional experience working with Kathryn and her staff.
Jennifer has a terminal brain tumor and we needed help updating our wills and had several other questions that we needed answers for.

Rachel Oliver is the best attorney I've ever had. She was working for the Jefferson County Public Defender's Office at the time. This was my fourth DUI in a lifetime , My last DUI was 20 years ago. I went to AA and treatment and I have been sober for over 2 and 1/2 years. She believed I took responsibility for my actions and I was ready to take the punishment I deserved. I was also looking at a extensive jail sentence, but I ended up with a much shorter sentence. I have had other attorneys over the years that I actually hired and paid. I have never seen or heard of a public defender attorney fighting so hard for their client. I know they are so overwhelmed with clients.. but despite that she spent a lot of time meeting with me and treated me with respect and courtesy. Rachel really cares about all her clients . I feel I owe her so much. I would hire her for anything at any time. I have recommended her to anyone I know that needs an attorney. I would never hire any other attorney except for her! A year and a half ago, my 19-year-old daughter was arrested and initially charged with 18 charges, one of which carried a mandatory sentence of life without parole. I am so glad we hired Rachel. Clarke Dray was wonderful to work with. The advice he provided me saved me a large amount of time and money, saved me a massive headache of legal trouble, and got me out of a few sketchy programs that were not helping me. Guess what else? I didn’t pay him a dime. Clarke Dray provided this information to me in order to help me through a difficult time in my life, despite the fact I may not be using his company’s services (I got a lucky break from a generous family member). I don’t leave reviews often, but if you aren’t going through this company for legal advice with bankruptcy, you should be.
I know how hard it can be, and how stressful everything may seem. However, Clarke Dray made me feel like I could get through everything with an honest approach. I am absolutely grateful. Even after I mentioned I no longer needed help, he mentioned he was happy to help anyway and even reminded me to fill out a specific form I would have otherwise forgotten about. Bastion was fantastic! I was in a car accident in April of 2015 and couldn't get any help from the Insurance companies. I reached out to Bastion in 2016 after spending over $20,000 of my own money for medical treatments. I am self employed and do not have medical insurance.
