Hal and his team are amazing!! His firm has handled 2 cases for my family over the last few years. Mark actually listened to what I had to say, never tried to cut me off or prejudge my case, was willing to look at any material I brought to support my position.. absorbed what my situation was.. I must have talked to 6 or 7 attorneys in the last few months... most are only interested in telling you what their fee's will be, not what they think they can do for you..
What a breath of fresh air. Open and candid, not any sign of ego, so down to earth. Definitely talk to this man before you make a decision on hiring an attorney, wish I had of found him 8 months ago.

I fought the VA system for 10 years. When Ron filed for his benefits he didn't doubt the VA, he had no idea the ride I was in for after his death. He lived long enough to receive two expedited denials. Before he died during his last rounds of chemo, he would ask me if we could afford an ice cream cone from McDonalds. This man whom i loved with all my heart knew i counted change for his ice cream. As all who watch their loved one give up their fight. This was my hell. I continued what he had started. Fighting the VA.
In desperation I called Chris Attic law firm. I've had lawyers who actually laughed and said lots of luck with your case. No one can win with the VA.

Chris took my VA claim in April 2019 I got my c- file August 2019, had my claim awarded in my favor December 2019. This atty did more in 8 months than any VSO did in the last 7 years. Like many people before me, as soon as I found out I would need legal representation for my case with the VA, I dreaded the idea of dealing with a lawyer. I had never had a satisfying interaction with a lawyer in my life until I spoke with Chris. Over the course of a year he represented me with class and dignity. Neither he or Jennifer Steel ever made feel like a case or a number. They were always friendly and attentive. I always got my questions answered in a timely manner. In September my daughter and I were involved in a motor vehicle accident. After the accident we sought treatment for the head, neck, and shoulder injuries we sustained as a result of the collision. I found myself dealing with the insurance company of the party whom was responsible for the wreck. At first this seemed to go fine and it looked as if all of our medical bills would be taken care of without needing to involve an attorney. Then the insurance company stopped communicating with us and there we were, stuck with outstanding medical bills. I realized I needed at least some advice from an attorney so I decided to call Michael Phillips. Over the course of our conversation, I realized that I needed more than just his advice, I really needed his help. He understood how things worked in these cases in a way that I did not. In the end, my husband and I decided that hiring Michael was the best possible choice. This choice took the stress off of us. Michael did everything we didn't know how to and the results were much better than if we had continued trying to resolve matters on our own. We couldn't be happier that we hired him! He is efficient, experienced, knowledgeable, and he was able to explain things in a way that my husband and I could understand. It did not matter that his practice was in Central Arkansas and we were 2 hours away in Northeast Arkansas. Michael was able to serve us and do everything a Northeast Arkansas Attorney could do. I hired Ms. Lockwood, when my previous lawyer was just pocketing/swallowing my money and had no interest in my case. I really wish I met Ms. Lockwood sooner - then my case wouln't have become as chaotic and drawn out as it was, because Ms. Lockwood would've stayed on top of it from the get go.
She was a God-sent at the 11th hour, and was able (and willing!!!) to turn things around for me in my case. She stood up for me even if it meant taking 'heat' from my previous and the oppositional lawyer. She listened carefully, believed in me, and came up with a perfect (!) and workable plan. She involved me 100% and worked nights and weekends if she had to.
She made herself accessable and available, she responded to all my e-mails and text messages the same day, if not immediately.
Ms. Lockwood is calm and collect, very professional, and extremely kind.
You will not find another lawyer like her: she goes out of her way to make this experience as pleasant as it can be and always looks out for the best interest of the children involved and her clients.

Mr. Digby is the best, most ethical, personable, professional, attorney my husband and I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only did he take our case no questions asked, but he completely changed our impression of the profession itself. I was fortunate enough to be represented by Peter Miller in a case that involved a motorcycle accident. I was traumatically injured when a driver collided with me while I was driving my motorcycle. This event eventually resulted in the amputation of my right leg below the knee. This was just one of the several injuries I suffered as a result of the collision.
My family was unsure where to turn because we were not from this area. Several people recommended Peter to my wife. After a brief phone conversation Peter came to the hospital to visit with my family. During this time he displayed great compassion and understanding.
