As I searched though the 'sea' of lawyers... I choose Halorin, over those with, maybe, more past case experience, etc., with mindset that she would give my case the special attention (& time) it required.
Halorin did exactly that!!

Halorin and her associates recently helped me in a very difficult criminal case which was finally settled in my favor. Halorin took her time to learn about and understand my case from my perspective and was instrumental in what I consider a successful conclusion.
These matters are never an enjoyable experience, and that is why I felt it was important to express our satisfaction in the way Halorin handled our case. She didn’t treat us as simply a client, but rather, as a person undergoing significant strains emotionally, physically, and monetarily. Often, it seemed as if she was truly concerned with the stress we were going through and it was truly remarkable that an attorney could have the empathy which she showed us during our ordeal.
Professionally, Halorin examined, researched, and analyzed every facet of the case and advised us at every step of the way what our best course of action should be, and she was correct each time. Our non-profit was in tax trouble and suspended by the Secretary of State. We also had a patron that wanted their donation back. This attorney resolved all of it and returned the balance of our initial retainer. She resolved the issue with the patron over dinner and got us a compromise offer for our tax troubles. She was tough and gave us great advice about letting go of our Executive Director which was better for us in the long run. We are healthier today as an organization and even though she will not join our Board of Directors, we admire her and would recommend her if your having compliance issues.

My husband and i used Michele Dobson Wilson for the preparation of our Living Trust that that was somewhat complicated. Michele was very professional, extremely knowledgeable on these types of legal documents, answered all of our questions, and made recommendations.
In addition I also have first hand knowledge of Michele's legal expertise and professionalism as I am on the board for a non profit and Michele represented our non profit in a wrongful termination suit brought forth by an ex-employee. She was excellent in reviewing all of our documentation and confirming to the court our non profit did not wrongfully terminate this employee.

When my father passed away, I was 22 and was named trustee. I was silently freaking out, and thanks to Sam's reassurances that I was doing everything correctly and his ability to guide me through the process of administering my father's estate we managed to close my father's estate fairly quickly.

I own a small software consultancy and we ran into a significant problem with a client that required outside legal support. While we've engaged with many legal teams in the past, this was the first time that we needed a litigation firm that had technical experience.
When I reached out to his firm, Charles immediately shared his personal contact information. They explained that they did not use paralegals to contact clients but only for drafting paperwork, so when you speak to them, you always speak directly to an attorney. They explained their billing procedures and ultimately provided detailed billing statements, both of which which were marked changes from prior experiences. They requested a reasonable retention amount up front and sent a bill each month to replenish any used amounts.
Throughout the process, Charles was both a brilliant tactician as well as a bold negotiator. He provided a strikingly accurate analysis of the situation and suggested a well-reasoned course of action. His plan was bold and flawlessly executed. There were points where I second-guessed his judgement, and he turned out to be correct at each stage.
It was a remarkable process. Charles suggested that I draft responses to each of the proceedings, and then he completely rewrote them. A few potentially inflammatory things he would take out, and instead insert absolutely stunning rejoinders. In many ways, law is a battle of words, and Charles has a marvelous precision and complete mastery of caselaw, legal precepts, and the English language.
I've never worked with such a quality attorney and only rarely with a man of such integrity. Each side was probably ready to go to trial, but as Charles pointed out, trial is often a case of diminishing returns where only the lawyers get rich. This litigator advised against litigation.
Once appropriate actions were taken, Charles contacted me and suggested refunding the still-substantial balance remaining in the retainer account. The very next day, I received a check via overnight mail with a nice note attached with a full refund and a final, incredibly detailed statement.
Things transpired exactly as Charles had predicted. It's certainly not that he took a lucky guess; he's more of a chess player and psychologist, and knew exactly what pressure to exert in the right place. The other side would have to choose our desired outcome because that was the desired outcome for them as well.
I'm pleased to have come to know him through this process. Charles, simply, is an amazing lawyer, a brilliant strategist, and a man of honor and integrity. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Over the last nine years Charlie and his colleagues have comprised the legal team which has thoroughly, professionally and compassionately represented my aggrieved group. Henry "Hank" LaTorraca is an extremely competent and caring attorney. Hank aggressively represents his clients in litigation matters. I have had the pleasure of working with Mr. Naylor for the past 13 years on different cases.
I first contacted Mr. Naylor shortly after my husband suffered a work related injury while working as a formen on the waterfront. Sadly our case escalated from a work comp. injury to a wrongful death case within days and needless to say, reaching a settlemet not just with the employer but with one of the big three auto manufacturers took time.
He was prompt to inform me of our rights under work comp. laws and made sure our benefits where in good standing at all time.
He was engaged and sought assitance from other coucil when needed and remained the liaison when ever needed between, the employer, benefits office and any other council involved.
In all my years of working with attorneys, both work related and on a personal level, he is one of the most reliable and honest attorneys I've had the pleasure of working with.
His staff is polite and very efficient and always willing to help when Mr. Naylor is not available.

I had an ex-girlfriend who was stalking me and making my life miserable. One day, she was banging on my door for hours. When I tried to leave, she chased me in her car and ended up rear ending me. I got out of my car and was trying to pull her keys out of her ignition and some witnesses saw that and called the police. They arrested me for felony domestic violence. I hired attorney Joel Hoffman and he immediately called the court and had it reduced to a misdemeanor. At the hearing, he was able to have the charges further reduced to misdemeanor trespass with minimal fines and no jail time which I was very happy to accept, considering what it could have been. This was a very stressful time for me since I had never been arrested before in my life but Mr. Hoffman really helped me through the whole nerve racking process. His fees were very reasonable as well. I highly recommend Attorney Joel Hoffman.

As a college student, I had no idea how the legal process worked when dealing with a car accident/personal injuries. Ryan was extremely helpful in making this process as smooth as possible for me. I have worked with James a few times in the past on work related to medical cannabis. I have also had the exciting experience to see James in an actual trial. Here's how it basically went down: the prosecution was dumbfounded by James's preparedness and quick thinking, resulting in the Judge dismissing the case on grounds that the prosecution was basically unprepared. He played a complicated procedural trick and it worked. It was super cool to watch it unfold.

Jee helped us recover a large sum of money that was taken during the break up of a trust. Another trustee took the money even though they knew the money was ours.
