Patrick Wilson was introduced to me by the senior partner of the latest law firm that I had hired. I was informed that Pat is the DUI specialist in the firm and he would be taking the lead on my case. At this point I had already hired two other criminal defense attorneys and spent 3 years in county jail on a no-bond pretrial detention order. Pat came to see me at the county jail and I explained to him my situation. Right away he asked me a series of questions that the other attorneys never did. His experience in his profession and criminal defense cases shined through right away. During our consultations, he provided a lot of insight about my case. Unknown information is the greatest contributor to fear. Pat very quickly earned my trust because he was honest, hardworking, and unique. He did not make promises or give me unrealistic expectations and was not afraid to deeply dissect situations and entertain the possible outcomes. He made me feel less afraid in the toughest moment in my life because he gave me hard facts and not theories. I received more useful information through his consultations than I did with my other paid attorneys. The discussions were clear and the proposed outcomes were realistic. Which in turn created a bond between Pat and myself that soon turned into a friendship. The best thing about Pat is that he is the type of attorney I could trust— both in character and skill sets. At this point Pat and my legal team came in for a conference as usual. We went over depositions, expert witness preparations, and strategies. After an exhausting couple hours, I was informed that Pat had far exceeded the rate of growth that the firm could sustain and would be opening his own practice. As you can imagine, my heart dropped here. I am in jail and the shooting star of an attorney that was handling my case was leaving. Well, that was not the case because Pat assured me that he would see my case through to the end. Throughout the process of court, Pat was always by far the most enthusiastic and engaging attorney. This was true throughout the multitude of court dates. One court date in particular, Pat recognized an opportunity to speak to the ASA to negotiate a deal even if he felt at the time that it was difficult. He went for it anyways. His ability to sense and seize an opportunity is due to his experience and his confidence in his skill sets. Pat did not turn away from “difficult” and “uncomfortable” situations; he was able to land an unheard deal for me. Every dollar spent on hiring Pat was more than worth it. I cannot be more satisfied with his service. He is an honest professional who truly keeps his client’s best interest and outcome in the highest regard. Today I am able to live my life in full again because of him. I highly recommend Patrick Wilson.

I couldn’t be more grateful for Mr. Clark, Sharon, and the countless others that worked my case. Going through a divorce and a custody battle is not easy and took a lot longer than I would have liked, but Mr. Clark did an incredible job every step of the way. He answered every single question I had (and trust me, I had a lot) and he made sure that I understood everything that would, and could, happen throughout the process. My employer, Wildlife Alliance a 501-3c non-profit conservation NGO, hired Marcela and Pozo Goldstein to process an H1-B work visa for myself and associated H4 visas for my spouse and two children (a combination of UK and Cambodian nationals). When you're dealing with a situation related to immigration you will most certainly find yourself lost in the drudgery of research, dead ends, missed steps taken and absolute frustrations. Mr. Ramey has handled several traffic issues for me in the past - alleged super speeding, school bus passing, and red light violations (among other things) – and my charges have always been dropped or reduced (no points!!). I'm a busy girl with more to do than attend hearings, and I'd rather not admit guilt by paying the fine (and risk upping my insurance), so I always consult Mr. Ramey no matter how minor the ticket. (Rolling stop, fender-bender...I've called up his office at least a half-dozen times over the past ten years and have recommend him just as often.)
A girlfriend of mine recently got into a bit of trouble. Not to get into details, but the charge was more involved than my usual petty ticket, and I (of course) referred her to Mr. Ramey. Mr. Ramey was not able to work on the case directly, but his associate, Gregory Bianco worked magic and got all charges dropped. She could not be happier, and I'm just glad Mr. Bianco was able to provide the same level of service I promised her Mr. Ramey would.

I Contacted Mr. Larry McMillan As Well As Five Other Attorneys For Consultion. As A Result I Chose Larry Due To His Eager Interest In My Case. His Prepartion From The Beginning To The End Of The Case Was Phenomenal. I Was Looking At A 10 Year Mandatory Sentence Plus 5 Years Coming To A Total Of 15 Years. After Many Attorneys Told Me I Would Not Be Able To Get A Better Plea Then 10 Years. Larry Got On My Case And Faught For Me, I Ended Up Receiving Credit Time Serve For 12 Months Credit And Probation. I was charged for the DV injunction. it was the first time I had to go to the court in my life, so everything was not easy for me. I walked into his office and explained him my case. Cant say enough about Greg. He always had time for me, even when he didn't lol. On more than one occasion we spoke during a federal holiday, which at least for me, goes to show the level of commitment he has to his clients. Any questions or concerns I had I could always reach out to him, and know he'd get back to me as soon as he could. He was also quick to make sure I knew things as soon as he did, and I never once felt left in the dark. He also really made me feel like he was on my side, not like an atrorney, but more like a friend. That said, Greg was always extremely professional and never sugar coated things. As much as we both hoped for the outcome we ultimately got, he made sure I was aware of all the posibilities that existed, and educated me in a way that made me feel as in control as I could in a moment when things definitely feel out of one's control. Although I hope I never have to, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to friends or family finding themselves in need of his services.

Patrick was not only extremely knowledgeable, and realized the obvious case of mistaken identity from the arrest report immediately upon our first in person meeting!!
He was highly sensitive to the fact that it was proving to be a traumatic experience for us.

At the time, in 2008, I had been served with divorce documents and I found myself with nowhere else to turn and found myself overwhelmed with the situation and downturn of events. It was then that I was referred to Attorney Patrick McGeehan by an acquaintance. Attorney McGeehan took the adequate time to discuss what I was facing and clearly explained the options that were available to me. Eventually, the matter was confronted and resolved with Attorney McGeehan's expertise and dedication to my case. Attorney McGeehan was always prompt to answer and or return my calls or texts. Vanessa has represented me for about two years and I could not be happier with her service / counseling / support and why not... with our growing friendship.
I am a physician, but I had just finished my residency and money was a big struggle when I first hired Vanessa. However, my children'swell-being was a cause worth fighting for and investing my time, energy and limited resources. I read about Vanessa right here, at Avvo. Having had a good share of legal fiascos with previous "highly recommended" lawyers that only put me way deeper in debt with not real results, I was skeptical and afraid as my decision at the time was time sensitive and had no margin for error. I am glad I decided to hire Vanessa. She was considerate and very reasonable with legal fees and truly I felt she treated my case with the heart of a mother/father and advocated for my children as she would have done for her own children. She mounted a surprising case (at least to me) and recommended steps that no other lawyer had mentioned to me before and time proved to be the right strategy. Vanessa got my WHOLE case resolved in less than a year and pretty much I got every item I was hoping I could offer to my children such as: equal time share (50/50) with both parents, consistent and well structured time schedule, attendance to best possible school, common sense and fair things such as place for pick up/drop off, among other things. Vanessa was against an experienced and thought lawyer... and she shined.
I must tell you that I did my homework and had everything ready at every step, saved emails, receipts, text conversation, etc... I did this over a period of time and I'd advise you do your work as well. Finally, after many years of back and forth visits to court, my case was resolved... and the legal cost at the end was not significantly different from our first calculations. I imagine every case is different, but Vanessa really try to help client's cost by deferring much of routine interaction to her secretary and/or paralegal which were both really nice, courteous and very professional and cost a fraction of a lawyer's fee.
Even better and unexpected news... I believe Vanessa (maybe indirectly, too complicated to explain here) also helped to improve my relationship with my ex which has been a blessing. My kids' mom and I just celebrated our son's birthday party together for the first time and it was a blast. I am very thankful to Vanessa for what she has done for me, my children and my family.
Note: I usually do not write reviews, mostly due to lack for free time, but this review is truly important to me. It is a way to show gratitude to my lawyer and equally important possibly help someone desperate for help (as I was) to make the right decision. I believe Vanessa has her heart in the right place, something difficult to find nowadays.
