I was referred to this law firm after I slipped and fell on ice outside of a restaurant and broke my elbow. From the beginning they handled everything with class and honesty.
I was unable to travel due to my injury and they handled everything digitally which alleviated a lot of pressure on me and my family.

Craig is a man with with a lot of resolve. He skillfully navigated between the prosecuting ADA's blockheadedness and my own. He is smart, clever, and compassionate. Facing 3 felonies and an enhancement charge facing 40+ years in Waukesha jail she got me 2 years probation is a miracle. Mindy was incredibly knowledgeable about my situation and explained everything clearly about my case, always keeping me updated throughout the process and putting in incredible work which gave me a huge peace of mind.
I was fighting a lot of felony’s and facing major time as I was already a recent prior felon. I recently found myself facing DV criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct charges because of false allegations brought by a vindictive ex-boyfriend. Due to my immigration status (I'm here legally, but I'm not a citizen) I knew I needed a highly-skilled criminal defense attorney who ALSO had a good understanding of immigration law. Thankfully, that is EXACTLY what I got with Marc Christopher!
From the very beginning, Marc did an excellent job of walking me through ALL of my options and discussing the possible defense options for my case. Ultimately my case went to trial and I was acquitted of both charges! At trial, I and others in the courtroom were extremely impressed by my attorney's competence and skill which I wholeheartedly credit with my being able to beat both of these charges. From the moment I met TJ, I was confident justice would be served. He is calming, professional, confident and knowledgeable about OWI / BAC testing procedures and police conduct. I can't say enough good things about T.J. I consulted with many lawyers and once I talked to T.J. I knew he was the one. He was compassionate and was very prompt in getting back to me. He took my unfortunate DUI incident and helped keep me calm and informed of what was going on and what was going to happen. I had a ton of anxiety over the course of my case and T.J. was kind enough to be understanding of my situation and went above and beyond to help me. He was able to get a Judge transfer and I ended up with a very light sentence. He was able to file a Post-Judgement Motion to get me the Good Time Credit that was not granted at the time of the sentencing. I was able to shorten my already light sentence even more and was released 3 days earlier than I expected. I was extremely pleased with this Lawyer and absolutely 100% would recommend him to anyone. I was charged with my 2nd OWI back in 2021. John handled my case for 3 years. It took a year for my trial/hearing for the first ticket I was issued. John fought non stop to have my case dismissed due to lack of evidence, and witnesses. The case was indeed dismissed w/out prejudice. The ADA a few days later reissued my ticket. John did not hesitate to continuing handling this matter, and yet again fought endlessly to have this case dismissed due to lack of evidence and witnesses. John was very thorough and caring during this matter, due to myself also going through a serious DV Trial which was the reason for my “OWI.” John worked diligently on my case until yet again, it was finally dismissed with prejudice. John also helped me in navigating how to have this removed from my criminal record/fingerprints. He shared all evidence/information with me, kept me updated, along with always being available to call, text, email. I highly recommend John and his law office, he will fight for you! I usually don't write reviews, I either forget, or am not invested enough to take the time to write my experience, or feel that the review platform is just for hearing my own voice. HOWEVER, I feel it important, this time, to write a review of Atty. Payne. I found myself in financial "hot water" this year and felt that I was stuck in a situation that had no end. I initially consulted with Atty. Payne and after spending an hour of time with me, I had not only a "road map" to solving my problem, but an increase in my knowledge about debt and debt collections and the bankruptcy process. He listened and offered advice based on my own situation, NOT some cookie cutter solution like you see on TV at 2 am. I suddenly had a plan, and steps to take to get out from under crushing debt and a pretty horrible situation. Atty. Payne helped me understand the plan, the steps, my options and was incredibly skilled in advising me without forcing me into a situation I wasn't comfortable with.

My accident resulted in injuries including multiple rib fractures and a totaled car. We tried for over a year to work with the at-fault driver’s insurance co thinking we didn’t want to involve attorneys. There was so much back and forth, and the insurance co wouldn’t even make themselves available before 8:30 or after 4:30 because it wasn’t convenient for them. They assigned different reps ranging from ‘Claims Generalist Associate’, ‘Claims General Int (does this mean intern?)’, etc. So frustrating! Then they gave me a lowball offer saying they wouldn’t go higher. I asked close friends for the name of the attorney who had successfully handled their case decades ago – Attorney Fehring.
From the first contact with Attorney Fehring and his paralegal Shannon, they handled my case respectfully and professionally; advising what they thought and outlining options. In the end, they were able to secure far more than we were while they handled all the interactions.

Laurence Fehring has my unequivocal and enthusiastic recommendation. I have a difficult time envisioning an individual who chooses Mr. Fehring and comes to second-guess the decision.
My knowledge of the Milwaukee legal community runs broad and deep. A car accident at the end of calendar year 2012 -- caused by the negligence of another driver -- left me with injuries, bouncing around from physician to physician and from one physical therapy session to another. Mr. Fehring's name found its way to my "short list" of lawyers for a potential representation.
After one preliminary consultation I knew he was the lawyer I wanted. In our initial meeting he manifested kindness, authenticity, amiability, strong listening skills, and more than a measure of wisdom. As time unfolded he proved to be especially -- in some circumstances nearly instantaneously -- responsive to all inquiries I posed via email. No less important, the team of assistants with which he works consistently struck me as every bit as diligent, skilled, and caring as Mr. Fehring, bespeaking (I am speculating here; but I'm comfortable doing so) the talent he and his partners have for training others.
My claim against the insurer of the negligent driver settled out prior to any complaint being filed -- as Mr. Fehring had indicated in our initial meeting is the case with more than 85% of the representations he undertakes. I was pleased it did -- even though, at times, my anger at the negligent driver engendered in me the desire to tell my story on the witness stand.
To repeat, to my mind Laurence Fehring is both an outstanding lawyer and a terrific person. Having the two rolled into one makes for a can't miss choice.

Our brother died unexpectedly and shortly afterwards his long-time caretaker and the caretaker’s attorney produced a will that left our brother’s entire estate to the caretaker. My sister and I were surprised that our brother would not discuss such a big change in his estate plan with us beforehand and after talking to some of our brother’s friends, we were told that this will was suspicious and we needed to retain legal counsel to look into it.
Thank Goodness we took their advice and were very fortunate to choose Trevor Lippman of O’Neil Cannon as our representative. My sister and I cannot say enough to praise the hard work and professionalism that Trevor demonstrated. As this was the first time my sister and I had ever been involved in a legal action, we needed a lot of support and explanation. At first it seemed like a typical estate dispute, but we knew that here was something wrong with the fact that my brother would change his will so dramatically without letting us know.
