We hired Kathleen over a year ago after our last lawyer failed at getting the job done. Kathleen and her staff are loyal to their clients. They go over and above to ensure your satisfaction. The Wisconsin court system is tough, but Kathleen is also tough, a very experienced and knowledgeable lawyer who keeps abreast of constant changes to the State's laws. Attorney Ortman Miller is a sensible, knowledgeable, fair, tough and responsive lawyer. She successfully managed two of my cases (divorce & child custody) simultaneously and the outcomes were in my favor. I had utilized two attorneys prior to retaining her and both were huge disappointments! She took over each case and was able to resolve several issues in one month that the previous attorneys were unable to do over a three year period. I highly recommend this attorney. As of a matter of fact I did and that case ended within a four month period and was successful as well. She was worth every penny!

Marcella worked hard to get me the best settlement from the insurance company. When the accident happened I worried about being able to take care of my family. She answered my questions, kept informed through the process and helped negotiate my bill with the hospital. There were times when I felt that the insurance company was dragging this out to get me to take any offer, she reassured me more than once that my case was good and to be patient. Ms. Thomadsen was referred to me by a friend who is also an attorney, but does not specialize in real estate law. We had a complicated property-line dispute with difficult circumstances around adverse possession. We were able to meet with Ms. Thomadsen fairly quickly. She spent more than ample time with us during our consultation learning about our situation, and then educating us about the law, and all of our options. When we decided to hire Ms. Thomadsen, she was clear in what we could expect from her and what she expected from us - when and how she billed, etc. With each exchange of information and updates as we moved through the process, Ms. Thomadsen would take the time to review scenarios and next steps with us. She never pressured us to choose one option over another, but instead provided information, support and her experience so that we could make the best decision for us. She spent as much time as we needed so that we were comfortable in with each step we took. She was timely in her responses, and she was fair in her billing. Our case ended favorably, and best as it could. Ms. Thomadsen was outstanding to work with, and I would recommend her to anyone that needs a real estate attorney.

Brenda helped me with my unemployment cases. UI refused to Pay some claims and just royally messed up other claims for no rational reason.
I have hired many attorneys for a variety of reasons and most are not worth their weigh in dirt. Brenda is NOT one of those,
Brenda helped me with many administrative hearing. She was always professional and prompt. She knows the system and the ALJ's well.
One hearing got lost. She fixed it.
She helped speed up the process and cut the red tape.
Out of 12 hearings we won all 12 hearings easy.
The UI system in 2021 - 2022 is one Messed up arbitrary system of over worked amateurs.
With Brenda's help I got all the money I was due. Late but I got it and I would never of survived the COVID years without those funds. I would of been homeless.
Brenda told me what I needed to know and how to present myself in the hearings. (Keep quiet, listen carefully and make your answers short and to the point.) Great advice.
Brenda is a problem solver, without compromise and does not miss a beat. She thought of many things and strategies I would of missed.
Though we never met in person, I owe Brenda a drink and A hug.

Peter Ramirez is a lawyer that I have personally observed to do superb work in the area criminal defense in the many cases I have personally watched him handle. In the matter, which he handled for me, it was a family law case, every lawyer's worst night mare. A very bad case, a once in lifetime case it was that bad, with most of the odds and many unfair factors stacked up against our position. Attorney Ramirez really showed his expertise, knowledge, strategic planning to be able to obtain what I believe was the most most favorable of all the possible outcomes that could happened to my surprise, which was clearly not a likely scenario. I and my children will be forever en-debited to him. Had I just went with Peter as my first Lawyer my case would not have spiraled out of control like it did. I give him my highest rating coming from a person that works in a related field. Peter was both compassionate, yet tough. Peter is a well respected member of the Milwaukee Latino Community.

Atty Kerr went above and beyond with my case. I originally had a lawyer that a friend recommended who managed to botch just about everything. I looked at AVVO and Better Business Bureau and decided to go with Miller and Miller (A+ rating) where Atty Kerr works.
She immediately spotted obvious problems with my case, went over everything in depth with me, and was available when I needed questions answered or reassurance. She was able to fix the many problems from the previous lawyer that almost cost my autistic son all of his money for the future.

My wife slipped on ice and fractured her shoulder at a local business. The business had ample time to take care of the Wisconsin winter conditions but neglected to do so. We were hoping to get the medical bills and ambulance ride covered but Thadd understood how much my wife suffered and explained how a settlement should work. While it is unfortunate that I needed to engage counsel for an action against one of the major brokerage and investment banking firms, I am very fortunate to have been introduced to Sean Sweeney of Halling & Cayo. Simply stated, Sean is an outstanding attorney!
Sean is smart, professional, methodical and tenacious, which is precisely what I need given the complexities of the case and who opposing counsel is. Additionally, unlike many litigators who come off as being aggressive and combative, Sean is soft spoken, reasonable and tempered. Recently hired Sean to review a business contract. We were so impressed with how thorough Sean was. When he met with us to go over the contract, it was obvious he has some mad skills. I would have thought he spent a week studying the contract for how well he knew in it cover to cover. He didn't miss a beat! We later needed his assistance to amend parts of the contract, which he took care of that day, although he didn't think he would get to it until the next business day. While building our new home we had to part ways with our original builder due to plans not being followed and finished the home building project with a second builder.
I talked to two other attorneys that were closer to my location but I chose Anthony even though I would have to work with him remotely because he was not condescending and got back to me within a day (usually hours) instead of days or weeks.
Anthony always responded to my texts, phone calls and emails very quickly. His attitude, approach, knowledge and professionalism was extremely helpful in getting to the end of a difficult new home construction that took 2 years, 2 builders and multiple legal letters. The legal letters were very helpful in getting people to do the right thing when their workmanship or service was poor.
Through multiple issues Anthony helped me understand the different options and then helped me execute the approach.
He also handled any of the difficult contractors that usually wanted to run over me until I started sending their communications through Anthony.
In the end the money I paid Anthony was well worth it and I was very pleased with the outcome (without going to court) regarding ALL of my construction issues.
I would recommend Anthony for any building or remodeling issues.

I had asked SEVERAL attorneys (including our closing attorney AND our family attorney) and most of them told me just to forget it. ONLY when pressed, the closing attorney (not my family attorney who I count on mind you) told me that we should take it to small claims court at least. All the other people in the transaction made us feel equally helpless and like there was no recourse..including the realtor the home inspector and a few friends, acquaintances and neighbors, etc...all we kept getting was like "too bad"..there is really nothing you can do..or "the same thing happened to us"...TY SOOO much attorney Murdock for letting us know that its not over yet! You rock! Have a great day! If you "remind" me later or I happen to think about it, I will let you know how the case turns out.

I've had other lawyers before and nobody compares. Attorney Brittain didn't tell me to take a deal because I would lose. Instead, he listened to me and told me we should fight and go to trial. He did a psycho-drama with me and it was amazing. After the psycho-drama, I understood how he was going to win my trial. He is a fantastic lawyer!

After being served with not 1 - but TWO garnishments from several years old debts and learning that I would lose 25% of my income from EACH check from the first creditor, and then the 2nd one, it made me realize that I had to do something right away. I called 2 different local firms after seeing their “ads” on TV and didn’t even receive a call back for days - but by then it was too late (for them)! Not only did Ryan return my call the same day AFTER business hours, but he met with me right away, explained all of my options, and then prepared all of the paperwork and filed a Chapter 128 for me literally within 24 hours of our meeting! The Garnishments were stopped and I’m well on my way to paying back BOTH credits at the SAME time on terms that are way much more easier for me to handle and I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend Ryan. If you have financial issues, be sure he is someone you talk to.

Ryan was awesome. I hired him a couple of months before Covid-19 hit. We had my initial meeting and everything went fine. I was collecting my documents when everything shut down including courts. My bankruptcy took a little over two years from start to finish. Some of that time was Covid-19 and some was me dragging my feet. When I was in need of a divorce attorney I contacted the Wisconsin Bar Association. They referred me to Attorney Singer and I never looked back. She took what could have been a stressful situation and made it virtually worry free. She is very professional, courteous , and trustworthy. A very nice quality in an attorney! Writing a review for an attorney is innately strange, I believe. Having said that, Terese Singer deserves some significant praise from me. I originally met Ms. Singer approximately seven years ago, under what were clearly not the most optimal circumstances. Throughout our subsequent interactions she was and continues to be a steadfast resource and adviser. She fought for equitable solutions on my behalf, kept me grounded in my expectations, and - without exception - explained any muddied points of law in layperson terms when necessary. Charles and the team at Murdock law is the best. They have represented me on multiple 6 digit construction and commercial finance claims and each time they far exceeded my expectations and recovery. I am very impressed by attorney Charles Schmidt. He is definitely the most professional and reliable person I have ever worked with. Alison Davis became my attorney for what should have been a run-of-the-mill divorce and custody situation.
