Ms. Navarrete helped me win my case a few years ago. She listened to me, answered all my questions and concerns in depth and never made me feel like I was a bother. Despite family law not necessarily being her niche field of expertise, Yolanda took on my child custody case. I had to leave the state just days after meeting with her due to military relocation. Other lawyers told me it would be just about impossible to resolve the case if I was in the military and out of the state. Yolanda agreed to be my advocate in the state and fight for my right to gain custody/visitation with my child. I paid my initial retainer and she quickly set me up with the proper documentation to begin the process. Even though she is busy, either her or her staff were always available to ask questions or follow up with. She dealt with the defendant in the case directly, as well as her representation. When the case went to court the judge decided not to hear it and and sent the lawyers out to agree on terms. We could not agree on custody/parenting terms in 8 years so why would that day in court be any different? When we could not come to a mutual agreement, the case was dismissed by the court. I was devastated and it seemed like every door was being slammed in my face. Yolanda did not give up. She re-submitted the motion to the court the eventual resolution was legal joint custody of my son.
I could not have done it without her help. This case took over a year to resolve. She submitted more than one motion to the court and spent countless hours over the course of the year. Yolanda made me a promise to see it through when she first took the case, and that's exactly what she did. Although she could have easily done so, she never charged me a dime more than the initial retainer we agreed to. Other lawyers have charged me $75-150 for an initial consultation just to tell me there is nothing they can do! Yolanda showed a genuine interest in helping me, and that's exactly what she did. I owe her a sincere debt of gratitude and appreciate her for not being like a lot of the other greedy money-hungry attorneys out there. Yolanda and her staff could not be more honest and caring. Thanks again for all of your help.

Mr. Sterlin is one of the most impressive and well rounded attorneys I have ever come across. In 2017 he assisted us with my wife’s immigration from China. The federal immigration policies are confusing, drawn out, and frustrating to say the least. However, Mr. Sterlin made the process seamless and he kept us well well informed on status of the case. He also does a great job at explaining the intricacies of the law in a way we could understand. When I was purchasing a home in 2019, I asked Mr. Sterlin to be my attorney. Once again, I was impressed with the quality of effort he put into my case. The sellers attorney was certainly a stickler, but Mr. Sterlin was still able to achieve all the requirements I was seeking in the purchase. Due to his success, I felt comfortable to recommend him to my sister. From what I understand, their case had a positive outcome as well. I write this review with my case still on-going. I feel that no matter the end result, my daughter and I received the best representation possible. I had a previous divorce attorney before hiring Mario. After exhausting my entire retainer and always feeling like they worked for the other side, I started my search for a new attorney/firm. I hit the jackpot with Mario and his firm. I know everyone involved in divorce believes that they are right and their ex-partner is wrong. I now know the difference when you hire an attorney that also believes in your rights and fights for your best interest without ever over-promising.

AWESOME!! We had the opportunity to work with Jeffrey on our first house purchase. Needless to say, we had all kinds of questions and when we ran into an issue just before closing, Jeff jumped through hoops for us to get the deal closed! Jeff was always super fast to respond to our emails and very patient explaining what was going on during the process. Ms. Shishkin helped me navigate an employment law issue. She was professional, responsive and helpful. She was able to communicate the law and likely responses from my employer in a way that was very helpful. Arthur Raynes was referred to my husband by a neighbor who worked for an attorney. My husband had an employment issue that had to be addressed. The attorney who our neighbor was employed by did not handle work related law. That attorney referred us to Art Raynes. Lucky day for us!
At the initial meeting with Mr. Raynes he made us feel very comfortable. He listened to what we told him and was very honest with his answers. Ours was not a big case for him but he decided to accept it anyway. Another lucky day for us!
During the following negotiations and mediation we were kept informed every step of the way. Eventually the case went to mediation and we went there with Mr. Raynes. There is no other attorney that we would have wanted to spend an entire day in a mediation room other than Arthur Raynes. Again, he was supportive, concerned, and caring.
The entire staff at Art's office were so easy to work with- always polite, friendly and helpful from day one.
We would highly recommend Art Raynes to anyone. He is definitely the first person that we would call if we need legal advice again. Most of all, we feel that Art Raynes not only became our attorney but also a friend during a difficult time.

My interaction with Art Raynes came in a circuitous fashion. I encountered a situation with my employer that resulted in the suggestion that I consult with a lawyer and financial advisor. The financial advisor was easy. I had been working with a man I trust for a few years already. The lawyer was another matter – especially for this specific situation. Through a recommendation from my financial advisor, I contacted an attorney who advised me that he only represents corporations, not individuals. I asked him if he had any recommendations for some one representing “the other side”. He immediately gave me Art’s name, firm, and location. He commented that Art and he were on opposite sides during a recent encounter. He added that Art represented his client well, was fair, and reached a satisfactory result for that client. This was, in my mind, one of the best recommendations for an attorney I could receive.
Art’s advice and guidance throughout the time of my situation with my employer was clear, honest, supportive, and, at times, comforting. He helped me to maintain my perspective, composure, and wits when it seemed to me that all was being violently tossed about in space. His no nonsense approach worked well for me; and, it was a pleasure to observe him employ his skills on my behalf. All of this was in evidence from my initial handshake and conversation with Art until my last conversation and handshake.
I am pleased that this episode in my life is now in the category of a experience along with lessons learned. I am pleased to have had Art’s professionalism and empathy on my side from beginning to end. I am also pleased that I am able to offer kudos and thanks for Art Raynes and his work on my behalf. My only regret is that I cannot give Art more than 5 stars. I just cannot say enough good things about Art and his team. He and his associates are professionals in the truest sense of the word.
I was terminated from a job after I complained about sexual harassment by another employee. I went to another lawyer first who asked for money, wrote a couple of letters, let the insurance company manipulate him and then told me he needed more money. I was very frustrated, didn't want to give up, but didn't really trust him to do the job.
I found Art through a search of 'Jury Verdict Review and Analysis'. I found a case that seemed similar to mine and Art was the plaintiff's lawyer. Most lawyers would not let me walk in the door or even talk to me over the phone without handing over a ton of money. Art talked to me. He listened to me carefully, looked at all my documentation and got back to me promptly. He did more in the first month than the other lawyer did in a year. He explained everything that he was doing, asked for my input, and was always direct with me. If you've ever dealt with a lawyer who takes the case but then barely seems to remember who you are, you will find Art a breath of fresh air. Art FOLLOWED UP. Constantly. My case would never have settled as quickly as it did without Art and his firm.
First of all, Art filed the lawsuit right away (which my other lawyer neglected to do) and he did it in a way that really got the attention of the defendants. The defendants dragged their heels every step of the way and Art stayed on them like a pitbull. He deposed EVERYONE that needed to be deposed. He did not cut corners. He did not allow the defendants to push me around.
I would also like to say that I am not the type of person who is easily impressed. If I go to a doctor I'm the type to Google a diagnosis, research a medication, get a 2nd opinion, etc. The situation I went through with my wrongful termination and harassment caused me to mistrust more people than ever. But I honestly would trust Art and his firm completely. Not only did Art get me a very nice settlement but he and his firm really gave me back my life, and I don't say that lightly. If you are lucky enough to get this man or his associates to represent you, you can sleep well knowing you have the best on your side.

Brooke Hern handled, and won, my disability case; he is an excellent attorney! He took the facts of my disability and made the private insurance company understand that I was, in fact, not able to work. He did this with a determined focus, never letting up. He communicated with me on a regular basis, making certain that I was informed about what he was doing, and why, and what he expected to happen. This alleviated my anxiety that I would be denied the disability. He talked directly with all of my physicians; this helped immensely by assuring the physicians knew what the status of my application was and how he was approaching the claim. This encouraged the physicians to respond in a meaningful way when Brooke needed information from them. Each of my physicians commented to me that it was a pleasure to work with Brooke. They said it was always clear that he had my interest in mind, and commented on how professionally he approached his work. I hit 3 parked cars and flipped my own car landing on my driverside door all right in front of the Hoboken Police Station so as you could imagine all the cops came to see!. I was charged with a DWI and Since this all happened in a company car I knew i was going to lose my job. Not only did Robert prolong my case for about a year giving me enough time to find a new job, but I only got 3 months loss of license and the minimal fines. Amazing lawyer, if he can pull this off then he can do anything.

We used Mr. Brazza for our new building lease. He went above in beyond negotiating our lease, it's terms and other issues. This was my first non-residential lease experience. Businesses leases are much more complicated (and longer). I wish I had hired him for my recent residential lease as I do not recall my other attorney being so thorough. I will certainly consider Mr. Brazza in the future should I require his services.
