Attorney Lex Gardner is extremely trustworthy and knowledgeable. He is thorough and honest with his clients. If he doesn't think it will work, he will tell you but he also looks at other options available. I went to him for Bankruptcy and was worried about judgment. I had gone to another attorney for a consultation and was treated like dirt. Mr. Gardner was a true gentleman. He understood my situation and was there for me from start to finish. Whenever I had any questions, he or his team would answer quickly. I would recommend Lex for anyone going through the stress of debt and bankruptcy.

I spoke to a number of lawyers in Charleston, Georgetown, and Myrtle Beach before finding gold! These first communications were rude, short, and couldn't help me. One claimed they could but only if I paid a ton of money. I looked online and found Mr. Cheevin "Lex" Gardner. I called and was greeted by a friendly voice who took my information. The paralegal who spoke to me was understanding and extremely friendly. She acknowledged I had a difficult immigration case but it was not hopeless. Less than an hour later, Attorney Gardner called me back. He asked questions none of the others thought to ask and was very respectful. When I met him at his office, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They even asked if I minded the company of their therapy dog. She was small but oh so much comfort for my wife. We are still working with Lex to get our immigration issue settled but he has walked us through everything and kept us very informed. We are just waiting on the government now.

My husband and I hired Mallary during our recent real estate closing. Mallary and her staff were able to get everything in order for our closing in a short amount of time. She kept in constant contact with us and kept us up to speed on how things were going. Since then, we've hired Mallary for personal injury/automobile accident. Mr. Wells and firm handled my seperation case. Mr. Hughes contacted me right away and met me at my house within a couple days. He assured me Berger's office does work all over the State of SC.
Immediately, I knew I was in good hands. Mr. Hughes questions were stop on and lots of information was exchanged in the next few days.
I was assured I could contact Mr. Hughes at any time, for any reason; something I did often.
Mr. Hughes took over, allowing me the time to heal and recover. He did all the heavy lifting, all the calls, organizing of medical records, all the negotiations. I was always kept informed. My input was asked for. My settlement was my decision. I was never pressured.

Truly a fantastic law firm. Being out of state I was not sure how to handle my ticket violation. When I called I knew full well they had bigger issues to resolve, I explained the situation and they took my case. Everyone I spoke to was extremely professional and they put my mind at ease. Axlerod Associates took care of me. I was treated unfairly by State Police, after I had a car accident, where the officer asked me to do a breathalyzer, and I told him several times, I'll try my best, and due to my breathing issues, it showed incomplete sample. I asked him to take me for a blood test at the hospital, and the officer refused to do so. He put me in jail overnight, to be arranged, about I'm 18 hours later, stating that I refused the BAC , when I clearly did not.
I contacted the Axlerod Law firm, and they took care of everything.
In the end, I ended up with a fine, and a minor charge for reckless driving, rather than a DUI

I have used attorney Foltz for real estate. Wills, etc., and found him to be very knowledgable of area and South Carolina law. Trust me there is a difference. When dealing with some one less informed and then engaging this firm you may find times when he will say you can't do that, but it's better to do it right the first time.

I was considering pleading guilty to a serious traffic offense which could have called for jail time, but I subsequently decided to hire the Frederick Law Office. I was interviewed by Bobby Frederick and Lacey Lee; they walked me through my charges and talked about how they would proceed to defend me.
Everything was expertly and efficiently done, as they said it would be. Not only was my charge dismissed, but they were able to have it reduced to a lesser offense. Also, thanks to their counsel, I was even able to retain my driver's license for the long waiting period...inherent in this type of case. Bobby was very knowledgeable trustworthy and committed to my husband's case. With all the charges that kept getting stacked against him, I never thought we would get out of it, but somehow Bobby got him a great deal. He never really considered going to trial, not that I am saying it as a negative thing, but it seems to be in contrast with the multiple other reviews stating he is a fan of jury trials. Maybe he just considered my husband's case not jury - compatible, but reading all these reviews it seems he kicks butt in trial, so I think he probably would have won. But I digress, I am sure he knows better than me. Either way, a great attorney!

My family member was facing a ridiculous but very serious charge. We were foolish and waited until it was time for trial to find an attorney. After several phone calls we called Bobby Frederick back. He never tried to force anyone to plea he just gives you your options. If the prosecution offers you a plea it's his job to tell you. We weighed the options that he gave us and ultimately took it to trial. Someone's life hung in the balance and it didn't look good. He won that trial. A unanimous not guilty verdict. I am so forever grateful. I sincerely love everyone in his firm for all their effort and hard work. I can't say enough about these people. I would earnestly recommend them to everyone.

After a life and career in Pennsylvania, and then months of researching where we wanted to retire, my wife (Elaine) and I decided the low country (specifically Pawleys Island) was the place for us.
Having really no personal or business connections here, we started at the outset the search for a reputable real estate agent and legal counsel representation.
Long story short, we received the name of Julian DuRant from the one couple here we were just starting to get to know. They were friends of good friends we knew in Pennsylvania who relocated to Myrtle Beach 10 years ago. Our new friends here asked their attorney who he would recommend for us -- and Julian DuRant was at the top of his list.
We first met with Julian DuRant in his Myrtle Beach office in April of this year (2024) to meet face-to-face and to explore the possibility of working together.
In brief, we were VERY IMPRESSED by this young man. He was most welcoming, interested in our story, and fully present in our conversation. He was obviously intelligent and accomplished, yet very humble.
During our first visit, we also had the opportunity to meet his father, Attorney Frank DuRant, and Maryellen Drew the firm's highly experienced Paralegal Professional. They were equally impressive as well.
