I had reservations about filing bankruptcy.
So I did some research to find the best possible attorney. I went to his consultation and was very pleased and comfortable discussing my case. I hired him that very day. Ronda Larson Kramer wrote up POAs for health and finance for my older brother. We engaged her on very short notice, less than a day, and she was able to accomplish the needed work. She came to his residence with the completed documents (made easier by a prior document preparation some months before). My wife sponsored me for a marriage based green card, I also needed a waiver of concealing information on my DS160. My spouse had a wrongful eviction notice on her record hence not on a same rental lease. We hired Jane in August 2023, We submitted our filling to USCIS at the end of October 2023, EAD/advance parole approved mid December 2023, I130, I601 and I485 got approved on the same day mid January2024. A record 2 months and 15 days from the time of submission. I want to thank Jane and her paralegal Melissa for preparing and helping us through the process. Our green card interview was waived as well. She is the best attorney I have ever met, very compassionate and understanding. I'm glad we hired her.

When I first contacted Andrew Yi, I had planned on meeting with several lawyers so I could shop around and really get one I was comfortable with, since my previous encounters had been pretty terrible. I've even had a lawyer call me AFTER the case was settled, only to bill me over $100 for a follow up phone call that lasted five minutes. Needless to say, I was extremely nervous about going through all that again. But after meeting with Andrew, I knew I didn't need to talk to anyone else. Even though he told me exactly what to expect, he was still very reassuring and friendly. I never felt like I was just a client to him. He really seemed to care about me and my case from the very beginning. Not only that, but he showed incredible aptitude in the court room, and everything went so much smoother than I had imagined. He speaks the language of the prosecutors, and seemed to have no trouble getting what he wanted.
I certainly hope I will not need a lawyer again any time soon, but in the unlikely event that I do, I will be contacting Andrew Yi immediately.

I retained Harriet after hearing multiple times from others how my case could not be won. Harriet agreed that it was a difficult case but decided to represent me with my wrongful discharge tort claim from the State of Washington. To make matters more complicated, I was a probationary employee with no rights. I had only worked 4 months for my employer before they separated me from employment. I was impressed with the letters she wrote the opposing party arguing discrimination. They were, in essence, legal memoranda with the law cited and legal authority provided. At first, I thought that all I could get was the termination or separation removed from my file in exchange for a letter of resignation written by me to be placed in my personnel file. The bottom line was that due to Harriet's help, not only did they agree to change the separation to a resignation, they agreed to give me monetary compensation, provide neutral references if asked and to refer all future calls about my separation to the personnel office. All that after only 4 months of employment! Harriet literally worked magic!

I was on paid administrative leave for 10 months before hiring Harriet.
My situation was very complex with hundreds of documents and emails showing what had happened. Harriet was able get her head around the situation in a short amount of time. Harriet understood school budgets and school laws. Within three weeks of hiring Harriet, she wrote a 16 page letter to the district and their attorney which convinced the district that they didn’t have a case. Harriet worked tirelessly on my behalf. I would get emails from her at all hours of the night and day. she was always available to answer my questions. She ultimately brokered an agreement that allowed me to return to work. Harriet isn’t much for pleasantries or small talk. If you are looking for an attorney that is going to counsel you and make you feel good, she probably isn’t for you. If you are looking for someone who knows the law and knows how to deal with employers and their attorneys, she is a great choice. I would wholeheartedly recommend Harriet.

During the early 1990’s my father-in-law called a family meeting to discuss which of his four children would serve as his executor and exercise his power of attorney. My wife was selected by all to have this duty. My father-in-law read the San Antonio Express-News cover to cover on a daily basis and really appreciated Mr. Premack’s thoughtful articles. He asked my wife to set up an appointment to draw up a Will and such other documents that might be needed.
My wife and I accompanied her father to his appointment in with Mr. Premack to facilitate the interview, as her father was profoundly deaf. We were so pleased with Mr. Premack’s manner and the quality of his efforts, that Ramona and I decided it was time to put our own affairs in order.
Mr. Premack drew up our Wills, Durable Power of Attorney and Medical Power of Attorney in March of 2012. While in his offices, I purchased my first copy of The Senior Texan Legal Guide. Since that meeting I have subscribed to Mr. Premack’s articles for the San Antonio Express-News by email and downloaded his seventh edition of The Senior Texan Legal Guide Texas Elder Law.
Later I found it necessary to move my parents from Florida to San Antonio due to their failing health. As soon as practical, we made appointments for my folks to bring their Wills and Estate documents to Mr. Premack for evaluation and translation into documents that would meet Texas Law and secure their Estate wishes. Mr. Premack developed a Restatement of their Living Trust as well as Wills and Durable Power of Attorney.
In June 2017 we accompanied Ramona’s sister to have her Will, Directive to Physicians, Medical Power of Attorney and Declaration of Guardianship drawn up.
During these many years, Mr. Premack and his lovely wife Ruthie have patiently and courtesy answered all of our many questions.

Russell represented me in a custody case. Out of several attorneys I consulted with, he was the only one who understood the law as it applied to my case. He is very approachable and genuinely cares about his clients. Although I changed attorney's mid case, it is not a negative reflection of Russell. An attorney who was more suited to my opponents attorney seemed like a better approach. This was simply my own perception and Russell was completely understanding. My case was extreme and very complex. I will say he is the only attorney I've met who had the courage to stand by me while I made a judgement call and disobeyed a court order for safety reasons for my child. He backed me and when it was done the court agreed with us, but it was a risk and he took it with me. At the end of our attorney client relationship, he and I disagreed on a particular tactic and I was unhappy with that single outcome, and because of that he waived the fees for that particular hearing. I've never heard of an attorney doing that! It is clear he has integrity, is extremely knowledgeable on the law and I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

About three months back I hired Sarah Beth to help me handle a particularly difficult collections agency that I was having a lot trouble dealing with. I had been trying to reinstate my suspended license to fulfill a deal with the local county court. Unfortunately, I owed said collections agency an unknown sum of money due to delinquent court fines from some time back, and had to take care of the fines before the Department of Licensing would allow for reinstatement. Over the course of a few weeks I had contacted the collections agency by phone as well as a handful of times by email, and although I had requested a statement of my balance on multiple occasions, I never received anything back from them. Instead, the only feedback I could get was essentially that I just needed to pay them what they said I owed, and only a verbal confirmation of the total amount. I was told that they weren't able to negotiate court fines, and when I tried to inquire as to the name of the person I was talking to, or if I could speak to a supervisor, I was informed that anyone there could help me and that I needed to just start a payment plan with them to rectify the situation. I really felt like they weren't taking me at all seriously, and were willing to play a waiting game in the hopes that I'd just give up and fork over some money. As soon as I hired Sarah Beth, she and her staff got right to work contacting the collections agency and attempting to negotiate with them. Amazingly, they still gave her a good bit of run-around as well as a few misleading assertions, but it wasn't long before she and her dedicated staff were able to get a concrete statement of what was owed. The numbers seemed unnecessarily high, and the interest and extra fees were not explained. It took some time, but after numerous contacts with the agency she was able to talk them down to about half of the total debt, and secure a written contract expressing the terms of repayment of said debt. I am so happy with the work Sarah Beth and her team did for me, I have literally no complaints or criticisms. She had thorough and helpful advice when I asked questions, kept up frequent correspondence via email, and was just all around knowledgeable and professional during this trying and stressful time in my life. Not only would I hire her again, but I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone having trouble working though a similar situation. Her rates are very fair, and I get the impression that she genuinely cares about her client's well-being.
To close, I'd just like to say that I don't think I would have been able to navigate this situation by myself. The outstanding work of Sarah Beth and her staff didn't just save me money; it helped me through what was honestly a scary and uncertain time. Trying to work through the issue alone was very daunting, and the learning curve was pretty steep concerning my rights and what I could do in this situation. Today I have my license back, and I can drive my four month old daughter around in our boring minivan with a big old goofy smile on my face, and to me that's simply priceless.

Mr. Lieb took on my Workman’s Comp claim just weeks before the trial because I tried to do the work myself. Handing my claim over to Wayne and his team became my saving grace. I had fought with social security for over 2 years, being declined each time I submitted an appeal.
