Rose has poor communication, follow up, strategy and execution skills. I would not recommend her to anyone for family law. She is nearly impossible to get a hold of and does not dedicate enough time to be effective in managing case.

Divorce was over but attorney fee issue was still there. She dropped me with that important issue unresolved. She was paid in full. Also asked her to do some things like seal the file and seek removal of a parenting coordinator. She did neither.

In my honest opinion and in my time talking with This attorney I can say that he and his firm is a complete joke, a clown house in laminate terms. I was referred to him by another firm in which we had a scheduled consult for April 27th 2022 between the times of 8am and 9:30am I as well during time of scheduling I gave my case number so the attorney could at least review my complaint so he has a understanding on my case. So he had all of last week to review my case and leading up to this week but with such incompetence and arrogance and ignorance he didn’t in which I was left having to explain to him a very complex case and in which he made such comments that were not logical as well when I made a comment that I may be the first to have a case that May Initiate a new law in Florida and he laughs like a clown. I don’t find child abuse funny, I don’t find children who are hurt and can’t get help because they don’t know where to go and they are surrounded my a blind system funny, I don’t find the tears of children funny, I don’t find any hurt an adult causes to a child funny. So as stated since I was a child in the situation of the case and I was mistreated and I was surrounded by such a blind system and no one who would understand or care to help you know I’m speaking up for myself and not just me but the children of this world and as well adults who were children once and May have went through similar experiences who’ve never had a chance to be heard so with my case i feel and know it will cause a domino effect and eventually that’s how new laws and what not come into place but again for this attorney to find harm done to a child at that psychologically for him to find it humorous is completely disgusting and horrendous. Callousness behavior. I found nothing humorous but yet he did. No “professional” “ethical” would do that. He had no right to act the way he did. This is my honest review and opinion.

I was referred to Attorney Joseph Flood by another attorney to help with an health insurance denial. Mr Flood and his assistant Lesley Woodstock were outstanding! Lesley was instrumental in my case assisting Mr Flood. They appealed my case for me and were successful. I can not tell you how thankful I am to Mr Flood and Lesley. We met with Brian more than 2 years ago regarding an auto accident. When you do get to speak with Brian, he has said for the last 18 months that he will file suit; however, still has not filed. An offer from insurance had expenses that were incorrect. He said that because my daughters car was uninsured that would be a problem, however, it was explained that my daughter was a passenger in that car and that it did not belong to her. Stated he would file suit, but the county to file was incorrect, and no suit ever filed. Told my daughter that she would receive weekly updates, however, there is NO communication. This is still an active case and we haven't heard from the attorney or his staff in months. It is our belief that he is hoping that we just walk away. We've discussed this case with other attorneys that said because too much time has passed that the power of getting the insurance company to pay now is very slim and that this attorney has failed us.

They had my case for 5 years and in the end when it was finally going to go to court it was thrown out because one of the partners quit and the hospitalist they had (who was very old) died. All they could say was oops sorry we can’t do anything more.

Well I love how Mike in above review said about her being professional with her customers. What a ton of lies. Wrong and Very Wrong! I have "pleasure" speaking with her as a client. I was outraged, angry and fact is I fired her and got proof of it. She talked disrespectfully. There was no politeness or sympathy from her. I can't believe how she's managed so far but probably it's because of who she is. Ruthless attorney looking for bigger piece to bid! Client Health or Personal life does not Matter at all. I describe one episode with her from many - the opposite side wanted discovery questions answered in certain period of time. Karen waited till no time left and then ordered me to answer these questions in writing/not typed. This was absolutely inconsiderate since English my third language and it's impossible for me alone. She wouldn't offer any help or invite me to office and answer them together. She's a horrible person who thinks people are working for her not other way around! Do Not Hire her! She cost me my case....

My preconceived beliefs that all lawyers are all pompous and truly don't care about their clients were dispelled through my experience with Karen. Karen is very professional, courteous , and proved to be a strong advocate for me and my case. I attest that without Jennyfer, I would not have gotten the successful results I am receiving now. To paraphrase, Karen clearly provided representation with my best interests as the main priority, not her personal agenda but mine. I exhort others to have the same positive lawyer/ client relationship that I was able to enjoy without hassles, judgements or attitudes . I am thankful for her representation.

My wife and I met with Mr. Pilcher at the direction of our Investment Advisor. He "appeared" to be honest and knowledgeable as we discussed the development of a trust for my wife and I. After the initial meeting, and a down payment of $1,600, Mr Pilcher went AWOL. Countless emails went unanswered as time passed. After a final email to him four months later marked URGENT requesting that he respond ASAP went unanswered, I sent an email terminating his services followed up by a phone message that also went unanswered. I have little hope of ever seeing that $1,600 again. He is why attorneys have such a bad reputation. I rated his service as one star because there was nothing any lower.

Finding David has been a godsend. I think I would had quit been a trustee a while ago if it weren't for him. He is everything I needed in a lawyer. The moment I step into his office my troubles seem doable. By the time I leave I feel 100% confident. He has a very calm demeanor, but he is very proactive and takes great care of you. His advice is top notch. He leads you by the hand every step of the way. He is very thorough. Go for this guy. You can't go wrong. He even speaks Spanish so my Mom can speak with him.

I used Serena Kurtz for two incidents regarding my rental properties and she was very incompetent! She didn't show up for my hearing's for both issues and now I have two judgements against me for a total of $5350 due to Ms. Kurtz not doing her job and not communicating to me what was going on! I was absolutely shocked when I received papers that were served to me regarding these incidents as Serena told me "the papers were never filed with the court"! Four months later I was served papers with the two judgements against me! Now I have to pay for these two judgements because Ms Kurtz didn't do her job and didn't communicate the status of these complaints. Look elsewhere for a real state attorney!

Our experience with Sean and SSDI was great! Sean walked us through the entire process. He always kept us informed of what was going on with the case. This case was complicated with years worth of documentation to sort through. But in the end, the judge approved the SSDI. Sagorski is always honest, empathetic and consistent in his efforts to further expand the already phenomenal knowledge he posesses when it comes to crimininal defense cases. The results are the ultimate statement of satisfaction and as a witness to multiple cases handled by Attorney Sagorski, you couldn't ask for any better outcomes. Fees are fair and appropriate. I would not and have not hesitated to recommend Attorney Sagorski to others who are unfortunately seeking legal counsel. At least, he makes the process bareable.

This "attorney" is by far the worst attorney I have ever retained. I should have know from the first time I walked into his office. He has no secretary, and gave me a photo copy of his business card . The only reason I chose to retain him was based on my financial situation. He never returned a call, text message, or did what he said he was going to do. The only time I heard from him was when he need a payment in which I tried to extend based on his performance representing me, which was complete incompetence! I withdrew him as my attorney being that he did nothing on my behalf and he declined my request of refunding any of my money and I never heard from him. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra on a good attorney because this guy is as bad as it gets! He will mislead you and is not about his clients best interest, only the money. Save yourself some time and money!

I used this firm as my closing company for a personal, residential purchase. I was charged $550 for closing fees as the buyer of a house, about twice the fees one would expect for a house this price.
I requested an invoice of what was included in the closing fees. After a heated discussion, Ostlie replied that he doesn't question what I charge in my profession for my services, though he isn't a my client.
Finally, he asked if I was looking for breakdown of "ancillary costs and the wire charges and the cost of staffing the closing and calling the lender." I replied that indeed, that is what I'm requesting, to which he replied, "Well, I'm not going to do that."
The seller was assessed no closing cost, as it was the sibling of Ostlie. Clearly passed the buck to me. Nepotism at its finest.
Thankful that his paralegals were punctual and helpful, but I would not recommend his services.

I applied to have a seal on my record, and was denied so I called Ms. Hale. Her motion that was filed in my defense was nothing but amazing. She basically told the judge that she isn’t doing her job by the statute law, which was right, the judge denied my seal based on a case that was relevant to my case. She called out every error made by the judge! She said this case was a no brained at least twice in the motion, it felt great to have someone with authority, tell the court they were wrong. This was the biggest victory I have ever had in my life, and it’s because I hired this lawyer. Altough, after a seal is complete, I wish she would have told me I had to send the order to all background check companies to remove it, because I wouldn’t have a clue about having to do that. I wish all lawyers would guide you to do that after, it only takes a few minutes.

I would never recommend this attorney to anyone. She is just a paper pusher. She is not proactive at all. After all, she is a defense attorney, so I guess that's my fault for hiring her before I actually researched her. If you need defensive help, she might be good. If you are fighting for something IE; a child, time sharing plan, etc, I would steer clear away from this lady. Think three or four times (not twice) before you give your money to this lady.

David S. Cohen was referred to me by Alper Law and his legal secretary made all kinds of promises and claims that he gets the money back for his clients. So, set up a consultation with David S. Cohen & had to pay $200 upfront & had a 28 minute phone call with him & everything he claimed he could & would do, did nothing. I spent $200 for nothing. This guy must make his money off consultations by the phone. Do not waste your time or money on this guy out of Orlando. Will contact Alpers Law and let them know not to refer him

I began using Mr. Cohen after I was the Plaintiff in 2 separate lawsuits a few years apart and he represented the Defendants in each case. I was amazed at how he representd them and constantly had my hired attorneys on their heels trying to deal with his knowledge and presentations to the Judge. After the second time dealing with this I decided to hire him myself and he has been my business and personal attorney ever since. I am in a business field where I deal with occasional lawsuits as the Plaintiff and wanted to make sure I was represented as best possible. Aside from his knowledge and polished approach in the courtroom one of the attributes I like most is his ability to review the facts you give him about a case and seldom having to go "research it", or go "talk with co-counsel" like most attorneys tell you.... always ending up in increased consultation bills. Mr. Cohen's rates are not cheap but they are within industry standards from what I have found, and the best part is he is so knowledgeable he doesn't waste time needing to go "research" most issues when you speak with him based on his legal experiences. I have also found (based on my frequency working at the courthouse) that many other local attorneys use him whenever they need assistance, or need someone to mediate their cases.
If you want someone who understands all aspects of 'contractual law' and 'real estate law', and want him/her to give you the best represenataiion possible, give him a call. On the other hand if you are looking for someone to stroke you and make you feel good about your case, no matter how bad it may be, you're probably better off using someone else. Back in 2011, Mr. Garcia represented me in a case where I was accused of cashing a forged check. The person I worked for scammed me by paying me with the bad check. It wasn't until a year later that I found that out when I had to suffer the embarrassment of being arrested and then extradited to Florida. I was scared and had heard a lot of bad stories about public defenders. But I was innocent and wanted my day in court. On the day of trial the prosecutor said he was going to ask for jail if I lost and even the judge said I could go to prison. I've never even been in trouble with the law before this! I don't think I would have gone through with it if my lawyer hadn't seemed so calm (showing me the law he was going to use helped too!). Mr. Garcia was much better prepared than the prosecutor. The judge ended up dismissing the case. Because of this man I got to keep my freedom, my good name and a felony off of my record.

I had a contract dispute case that Mr. Garcia took on contingency. A few weeks or so into the case he got an opportunity with a larger establishment and told me he wanted to drop me to give his time and attention to them. I ask that he not do this as at that point it would be extremely difficult for me to start over, to which he threaten that he would take me to court if I did not dismiss the case to release him. I didn't even know that lawyers could do that and speaking to the FL Bar Assoc it seemed like there was nothing I could do. Since it would be silly to hire a lawyer to go to court against my current lawyer, which in doing, would not help me with my original case, I dismissed it. As I had already paid Mr. Garcia funds I was unable to get another lawyer for my original case and as such never resolved that and am out thousands of dollars to this day.

I have called every single day for the month of February and have talked to his secretary about 6 times. It is extremely rare for them to answer the phone. All that I need is a simple payoff for a property in order to buy it. This payoff is the only reason we have not been able to move forward with the closing. The seller needs to know what it's going to cost because the house is going to foreclosure. But honestly I have never seen someone move so slowly with a simple payoff.

We used Mario Garcia for a closing through TD Bank. The day of closing we waited for half the day in the conference room while his assistant was still typing up the closing documents for the closing that day. The documents were then correctly recorded with the clerk two months after the deadline. We found out later that it was also rejected multiple times because of silly mistakes like documents not being notarized or/and unclear communication with the clerk.

I was blindsided by a divorce. Frank was helpful with the initial paperwork. Although, he wasn’t concerned with accuracy, stating that it could be changed in the future. Following remote mediation, he stated that his case load was too high and he could no longer help with my case. Fast forward 1 year, still no trial date.

I hired Patricia, or "Trish" as she called herself, several years ago to represent me in a difficult and complicated child custody case with my ex-husband. Without going into a long and tragic story, suffice it to say that I did not at all receive the steadfast, thorough and competent legal representation from "Trish" which I was led to believe that I would. By the time I found out that she was clearly out of her league in my custody case, it was way too late and the damage was already done. I just hope that her current and future family law clients get better legal representation out of her than I did.

During a very, very difficult time in our lives, this person was not only insensitive, but rude as well. She did not respond to our questions, lent no support and was extremely unprofessional. Consulted with her about my case, she advised to file a Ch 7 BK, gave her money and hired her ($2000). SHe then required another $3250 to buy back my own clothes etc that went to the court. she was to remove 2 judgments as liens on the house and failed to do so. She never responded to one phone call. I called over 40 times over 9 months. I had to recently hire a new attorney to try and fix the mess she made. The case is still open and was file the summer of 2013! Do not hire her for any reason.

In Oct. 2010, I gave this atty almost $2000 to handle an annuity, and 401k QDRO for me and I NEVER heard from her again. Its that simple.I called to check the status of my case and her assistant said she would call me back and No one ever did. She also gives an outline of a timeline to her clients dishonestly claiming how her cases can take up to 18 months. Its simply not true after consulting with other attorneys and eventually hiring one to do what I paid Amy Boohaker to. Look elsewhere if you dont want to end up n small claims court trying to recoup your money from her.

I was living in Canada and relayed this information to hime and his Judge assistance three times. Hired this attorney for a serious crimanal case. I could have done better with a public defender. He was arrogant, promised he was an expert, and after continuing the case for years, only filed 1 motion, when it went to trial, it was obvious he never even looked at the case. I admit, my experience with the judicial system was limited, and I should have asked better questions, but his assurance was slick. He looked like a complete fool at trial, and of course lost a extremely winnable case. An embarrassment, as well as horrible communication skills!. Stay VERY far away!

Started my case with Miranda due to a accident I was involved in. Met with her gave her my case files and she seemed very responsive. After sometime passed the communication became really zero to none. Her assistant Madonna was a very sweet lady that tried to assist me whenever I called. But during my complete experience with The Good Lawyers I felt It was always me reaching out for updates and communication about the status of my case. Which became really frustrating. Around December 2018, I’m guessing her assistant Madonna employment ended and I wasn’t notified so I had been calling the legal office for about 3 weeks leaving messages and sending emails with no response. Somehow I got in contact with her assistant Madonna and she advised me that she was no longer employed with The Good Lawyers and she couldn’t assist me anymore. This was a shocker and very trusting process to have to deal with. So finally around The end of January I finally got a call from Miranda the attorney and she apologized for the inconvenience which I decided to than pursue my case with her. It is now June 2019, I haven’t been updated or called on a status about my case. Last time we spoke in January she stated she was going to reach out to the insurance reps and start finalizing my files. I called her office on May 29,2019 in regards to questions about my case and I was notified by her new assistant that she would be returning all my files and dropping my case and on top of that send me a invoice of fees! I called twice to have a conversation with her and she has yet to return my call and I’m consistently reminded that my files are in the mail headed to me . I am absolutely stunned that she would handle her clients in a such unprofessional way. I will not recommend her services to anyone and i would absolutely recommend in the future she learns how to handle her customers with compassion, good customer service and respect. I’m am so disappointed and dissatisfied with Miranda Jackson of the Good Lawyers LLC
