Bosky answered questions for my grandma a few years ago. He was super helpful and talked to us like friends, none of the crazy legal jargon that no one understands (unless your a lawyer or in that profession). He is super friendly, nice and professional. I contacted Rhona regarding filing a partition/lis pendens suit against another family member. When i called her she was very helpful on the phone and answered all my questions. She was willing to talk to me for quit a bit in regard to the matter and explained the process and what i could expect. She was very upfront and transparent about how to handle the matter. I was impressed that when we were talking there was no rush to get off the phone. I made up my mind by the end of the conversation and set up a appointment to meet her and start the process.
We met, I paid the retainer and started process. She sent a demand letter to the other party shortly after outlining that I had retained her and how we would move forward with the partition if this could not be settled immediately. In short, The other party realized that things were going to get serious and agreed to list the property at a reasonable price, and the property sold thereafter.
This avoided a costly battle thru the court system. When this ended Rhona contacted me and said she would now close out the account she had with the retainer. Within i couple weeks I received back a refund on the amount not used with a breakdown of charged time.
I would use her services again without worry because she is honest, transparent and is always available if you need to talk to her.

My parents went to Nancy 20 years ago for their trust. Then recommended that my uncle get a trust as well thru her. My mom died 2 years ago, my dad and uncle died within weeks that was 6 months ago. I have Never spoke Nancy. Yaz is somewhat knowledgeable. I have had to do most of the paperwork and research myself!! I am quite knowledgeable in financial and legal stuff. I would never recommend her. The absolute worst in communication and guidance.

I am a Canadian, and Mr Manes assisted me and my wife in purchasing U.S. real estate, preparing a custom estate plan relating to the property designed to minimize our U.S. estate tax, while harmonizing with our Canadian estate plan. Bill is not only a terrific attorney but also a good human being. I met Bill in '92 when he handled a misdemeanor criminal case for me and won the case at trial before a jury. He also represented me in several PI/auto accident cases over the decades and got THE BEST OUTCOME POSSIBLE. I have also approached Bill on several other civil matters and he talked me out of filing by explaining that I had no chance of winning. I found another lawyer to file on one case Bill refused, lost the case, and got hit w/a $69K legal bill payable to the party I sued. I had to file BK to avoid paying the 69K and believe it or not Bill helped me with the BK for free.
If you seek an attorney, Bill is your best bet. He'll go to war for you and, if you have little chance of winning, or no case, he'll let you know. Bill only gets paid if his client gets paid, that's a fact.

Mr. Koontz was a terrible lawyer. The first meeting he seemed sincere. He came recommended hence why I blindly trusted him. I presented him with two problems/issues. One was settled about 1.5 years after I approached him. The other problem, I asked if he can handle it. He said very confidently, "yes." I kept asking about the second problem throughout the time the other case was going on. He said he was handling it. In the end... too much time has passed and I am no longer able to make a claim and I lost out on $1 million. He did not even mention the second problem/issue when a settlement for my first issue was paid. He just got his money and never looked back. This is one of many times he did not keep in touch with me about what went on. I could have asked another lawyer to help me if he could not help me. Secondly, I had given documents to him that I needed for a case in another country. He lost those documents. I guess I expected my lawyer to be responsible so I never made copies of the documents I gave him (also there were thousands of pages and I did not have the ability to copy every thing). Anyways, not having those documents has cost me a full investigation in the other country and now I have lost about $2-3 million from lack of proof.
This has been by far the worst experience I have had with a lawyer. I have dealt with about 10 lawyers in my lifetime and maybe 2 in the area which Mr. Koontz has "helped" me in. He lacks communication, responsibility, sincerity, and professionalism.

He really screwed me out of a lot of money and didn't accomplish a thing. I was out 10k and the bills were just racking up. Nothing was happening in my case though. I was paying him what I could, about 200 a month. I didn't have any lump sum money left to pay him after the 10k. Just before a court date his office informed me he was not going to continue representing me unless I paid him another 8k upfront. I told them I was paying him all I could, so he quit my case. He left me right where we started over a yr prior only without any money and without representation. I mean it, absolutely nothing had been accomplished in my case after all that money and ask that time. I immediately stopped paying him at that point. I had already paid him close to 15k and my case had gone nowhere. He spent all the time in court arguing with the opposing attorney or requesting continuance just to rack up fees. I really think he and the other attorney (Richard Gahn) had a racket going together to rack up fees for their clients. Now, his office continually calls threatening me if I don't pay him. I've given him ALL I'm going to give him for the lack of service I received. I will have to say, he is kind, seems to know his stuff or where to find answers, and he seemed prepared for court .He did seem to know my case when he got to court, which is more than most can say about a lot of lawyers.

Lisa and her firm handled my divorce. ..I got passed from lawyer to lawyer about 7...they all seemed to leave her firm....they dragged the case out until it cost me , yes $50.000.00 what a sin... not only dealing with my x and her lawyer. ...my lawyer and her firm overcharged me....they did not keep me informed very well over the two years they represented me.

This firm lured me in with a free consultation and a promise to relieve my support payments instantly by $10k/month. Elated I hired them on the spot.Afterpaying them $15k, I saw that they did nothing to help my case except billing me for every one in their firm to touch my file. And yet when I ask anyone questions nobody seems to be able to know my case or give any advice. When I said I’d have enough, they sent me another bill for $24k. I really don’t know how they sleep at night

Barry Mack likes to talk about himself and how he was a Commissioner at the Court. It appears he likes to talk about how amazing he is however, this is not the case. He drags his feet with your case and runs up your bill. So that retainer you pay of $5,000.00 is eaten up real quick. He is not aggressive with the court and fighting for you.He will even tell your judge, that he wore the same robe many years ago. Very weird. His paralegal staff is non helpful. He let my ex wife run the show who is not an attorney.
Don't hire this guy because you will get nowhere and he will drain your bank account and credit cards dry.

I am a realtor and I had a legal issue. I called Car legal hotline as we are supposed to. They told me there is a conflict of interest as the other agent working on the transaction called in to them as well. They told me to contact Monica as she is outsourced to help with these matters When there is a conflict of interest. She answered the phone and as our conversation proceeded after every sentence I said she gave me a very snappy and angry response. I continued to be polite. We proceeded with conversation, she was having an issue with her computer. My wife walked in the room to say goodbye and I love you to as she left for work (took about 3 and1/2 seconds) . She reprimanded me and said that She does this for free for you so you need to listen up and pay attention. I said ma’am you have been nothing but rude to me for no reason for this whole conversation and I have no idea why.. She said get somebody else to do it and hung up the phone. That is fine that she does this for free but I actually pay real estate dues for legal counsel. They outsourced her so what they have worked out as pay is between them. That is no reason to treat a client that way. Very upset, unimpressed and very disappointed in her service.

Lazy or incompetent!
We were very disappointed with the counsel we received from Robert J. Gilliland, Jr and Guralnick and Gilliland, Attorneys At Law. Our family was accused of Failure to Disclose in a home sale transaction and we were shocked at Gilliland’s lack of knowledge of the law in such cases. All he did was try to get us to accept the demands of the accuser and gave no indication that he reviewed the inspection report or other facts of the case. When we questioned his rationale, all he really said was “I’ve been doing this for 30 years.” Fortunately, we sought several other opinions from attorneys who thought the accuser’s case was extremely weak, if not laughable. The case eventually went away and we spent far less than what Gilliland encouraged us to pay. Also, he was the only attorney we talked to who required a $500 fee for an initial conversation.

I've used Mr. Jackson on several occasions ranging from matters as simple as corporation formations to intricate litigation matters. Mr. Jackson has always responded in a timely manner, provided excellent insight as to legal options and outcomes (in simple terms) and has always been fair with the stop watch (meaning he doesn't hit the clock with ever little question you may call him with).
With multiple businesses from retail to real estate to online and otherwise, I cannot express enough my gratitude for Mr. Jacksons calm, cool and collective approach to settle matters from the less scrupulous business people out there.

I would not do business with this attorney. I had an urgent situation with a problem tenant and was recommended to talk with Randall Jackson. I discussed the situation with him and he told me to send him a copy of the lease, a 3 day notice I served myself and statements that I had gathered from witnesses. I scanned the documents and called several times to start the eviction and never even received a return call. I have a solid case and he never even bothered to call even if he choose not to take the case. I can't imagine anybody doing business this way.

When you hire Ira, you get a trained professional with a good heart, a sharp mind and a focus on the bigger picture. Despite a highly contentious divorce with opposing council's three attorney legal team, Ira and his partner, Anthony Dunne, billed me for work that only needed to be done to protect my interests and that of my child’s, advance our case, and get through the divorce. While they could have billed considerable amounts by responding to the opposing council’s acrimonious efforts, they focused on getting my case resolved. We gave Ira Liss a 1200 dollar retainer to file a bankrupsy on a business. We decided not to file and asked for the retainer back and he has refused. This was at least 4 years ago.
I have the check with bank stamp and letter requesting the retainer be returned.

Denisha is by far one of the best criminal defense attorneys around she handled my case professionally respectfully and diligently although I served a prison term she got me many many years take it off of my sentence that I would have got with a public defender, there is no way I'll be out today if it wasn't for her. Was appointed this lawyer and when I finally got hold of her, all I got was berated, and I mean just tore into me, as to why I wasn't in court. After I explained to her that I was not made aware of where the court was located but still drove the 259 miles on 4 hours of sleep in an attempt to make an appearance, she berated me some more for not showing, like I had said nothing at all. She offered no assistance. None at all. No advice. No recommendations, except for trying to get me to find another lawyer, Nothing. She did more defending for the case worker that failed to properly inform me of where the court was being held then she did for me. Made me wonder.... So if you like your attorney to treat you like a hostile witness for the opposing side and want no help or advice what so ever, hire her. If you want someone to be one your side, RUN elsewhere! And yes, I have already printed a California Attorney Complaint Form in order to report her to the bar to whom I have already spoken to about this.

I was represented by Denise Shaw a few years ago when she was a partner at a well known defense attorney's office in my area. Ms. Shaw was very professional in her conduct with keeping me informed about what was going on with my case (a felony case including an alleged felony with a prior 1 strike). Ms. Shaw was able to get my felony reduced to a misdemeanor and I was given 3 years probation without serviing any confinement time or paying any heavy court fees. I will even be getting the record expunged when my probation period ends next year. Ms. Shaw was also very understanding in regards to having a $55,000 bail payment (10%) as well as the high cost of hiring a private attorney for a felony case, which was $20,000 at the time. Ms Shaw was so generous as to waive my remaining fees to her which was about $7,000 -$8,000. Thank you!

I hired this “man” to do services for me during my divorce. Took 7k from me for a simple divorce filing with custody issues and an emergency visitation order (total of two appearances for me ) and not once addressed what I needed addressed as per the divorce was concerned . When the divorce decree was finalized I told him he didn’t Address any of the issues that I wanted the courts to be brought to light on and that I wanted a half a refund on the money spent. He then continued to keep my money and told me that he would not be representing me blocked all my phone numbers and did not abide by the courts order to give me the divorce decree or any other court documentation on that court date. Now I’m out 2.5k for nothing . Still have to Address my wife flying on 2019 fiscal year tax return, my income, as well as our personal belongings that she took from my house. I believe him to have been in contact at some point with my ex wife and excepted favors from her in exchange for sabotaging my divorce.

I have in my 64 years hired more than a few attorneys but none quite like Martina Ravicz. Rude, obnoxious, arrogant is just for starters. Her blatant lack of communication ended up causing an unnecessary and aggravating delay in the appraisal process. I hired Ravicz in Oct. of 2021 due to an estate take over upon my fathers death. Martina's abrasive and obnoxious personality was the last thing I needed going through that traumatic period in my life. I really didn't appreciate that woman's whole Tiger Mom Vibe. In the end Ravicz did get me a small fraction of my fathers estate through mediation. I deeply regret ever meeting Martina Kang Ravicz. I feel Martina would be better suited defending drug dealers and white collar criminals rather than dealing with grieving families. Perhaps Martina should try to get along with the clients who are paying her fees and not make enemies out of them.
