He doesn’t care! He sees dollar signs and tells me I should sue my past attorney for what she failed to include in my divorce. Doesn’t even want to look at the bank statements and my husbands Quicken account with my son’s savings account numbers, and my account numbers, set for download and transfer… which he did. He doesn’t care that my husband abused and stole from my kids and I, prior to our marriage. This attorney is book smart. Immature at life. Talks down to me as if I’m a child; I’m at least twice his senior. Arrogant firm; arrogant attorney.

Ok, so I hired her for my Divorce because she presented well at our first meeting and showed empathy for my situation. However, that changed and she became very apathetic once we got under way. She also hired an incompetent QRDO person in which left me at a 250k loss. Not a positive experience at all. Choose very carefully.

She did an exceptional job handling my case. The moment I consulted with her, I knew my case was in great hands! I went through divorced and Mindy was recommended by a co-worker. Your vacant lot is filled with tents, dogs, human excrement, and needles. Because it is private property, nothing can be done. Maybe fence it off? Lots of people are trying to actually live and feel safe in this area and the derelict property has a growing population of houseless folks living in squalor - I realize you live in a nice area and all, but you need to do something about this.

Mr. Dawson was hired as a personal injury attorney, but I had numerous problems.
1. He overstated and oversold his capabilities. The final outcome was much less that stated.
2. After two years on the case he did not have a single medical expert to testify in court for a permanently injured client, leaving no good options.
3. Lack of transparency was a serious issue. Mr. Dawson withheld critical documents from my review and approval, then expected me to sign agree to unsatisfactory terms.
4. Mr. Dawson threatened lien(s) if the case was not resolved, even though the demand letter was rushed out-the-door without my personal review.
5. In the end I felt very strongly the attorney was more concerned about collecting fees for himself than the well being of the client.

I was in a pretty bad car accident recently. While recovering, I received word that the other driver was not accepting reponsibility. I was referred to the Dawson Law Group by several sources...some friends, some family. I contacted Bryan Dawson specifically and explained my situation. Mr. Dawson wrote an effective letter to the insurance company and it wasn't long before they had accepted fault. My case was complicated because it involved a natural disaster. When a case gets complicated, often both sides just agree to mutual fault. In my case the other driver had been negligent and operated his vehicle in my lane. Mr. Dawson made it clear that disregarding standard driving safety laws are not excused by inconvenience...especially when you cause damage and bodily harm to others.
During my case, Mr. Dawson exhibited kindness, compassion and effectiveness. His secretary and associates were helpful when he was unavailable assisting other clients. He was punctual in returning my calls and he listened to me when decisions needed to be made. I highly recommend Bryan Dawson and his whole law group. Randal assisted my family with a very complicated lawsuit revolving around a neighbor dispute/nuisance claim. Although I am a licensed attorney myself, I knew I was in over my head. I googled a question to begin, and the Trierweiler name was in the list. I was impressed with the fact I could chat with someone and ask a question, then before we were done getting my contact info for a call back, my phone was ringing. Jerry was on the other end, he helped me understand the issues I am experiencing. He was kind and very helpful, within minutes I understood my problem. We hung up and I set my phone down only to have it ring again with the same number for the Trierweiler group, I answered the phone, only to find that a very sweet paralegal was returning my call from the chat. Filing for bankruptcy was the first time in my life I had ever needed an attorney, and Todd's team made the entire experience extremely smooth. While his team still helped with odds and ends throughout the process, Todd himself took the time to explain in great detail what to expect, and in a way that made sense for me and my wife. Do not choose this firm to represent you! They failed time and again to contact me with pertinent information as they said they would. It took me calling and leaving messages repeatedly before they would get back to me.
On January 8, 2018, I was told by Nicole (the paralegal) that a letter they wrote on my behalf would be finished by January 12th, and that she would contact me. She didn’t finish the letter until February, and I was the one to contact them to get the details.
Again, on February 2, 2018, I went to their office to sign documents and was told my check would be availble March 8th or 9th (and of course that she would contact me). I called the 7th, the 8th, and 9th, left messages, yet received no response. On the 9th I received their answering service. I was told that Nicole was in the office but only taking messages. I went to their office in person at 3:00, and noone was there.
Zeitz is conveniently out of town until April.
I’m wondering if they are even going to give me my money due to me.
This list of the ways they were incompetent isn’t even complete, but do you really need more to decide NOT to hire them?
I am contacting the Oregon State Bar to report their practices.

Brett counseled me prior to and during all of my divorce proceedings. He was great at helping me understand what was vital versus minutiae when it came to finalizing the parenting plan and divorce decree. He was prepared and also had me prepared with all of my financial, business, and personal documents needed for the mediation.

So incredibly glad that I stumbled upon Colin Hackett on Avvo when I did. Long story short, I had gotten a worker's comp claim denied by Saif because of a poorly conducted IME, even though I had several doctors who knew what was going on with my wrist, and also agreed it was work related. Colin was able to get letters from the doctors I'd seen, and was able to make a good case for me. And in doing so, I got a good settlement out of it. I needed a lawyer to represent my brother and I in a dispute with our Father’s estate. Mark was recommended to me by another family member who had great success with him in the past. Mark met with me very shortly after I contacted him. We had a discussion of the issues and he said it sounded like we had a strong case. I gathered as many documents as I could find and handed them over and he went to work on the case. Mark was very knowledgeable about estate law and after many communications with the estate’s attorney it was decided that we go to mediation with a judge. This was during quarantine so these mediations happened over internet conferencing. Mark was awesome in court. He had documentation and great arguments to refute all the opposing attorney’s claims. We were awarded everything that we were fighting for. I have never been involved with court cases so it took longer than I originally thought it would, but I am very happy with the results. I have been sent to him by the Oregon Bar a few times. When I contact him he agrees my case is horrific and awful and people should not be treated this way and my case is strong, etc. However, he refuses to accept the case saying he is too busy. When the truth is told my case will not bring him enough money (according to other lawyers). He only takes rich cases and leaves the rest of us to rot.

Paul Bovarnick started out as my lawyer and as the case went I made a friend. He was always honest with me and talk to me often about the plan. Paul always called and questions about the case, more importantly he want to know how I was doing.
