I was trying to complete the Naturalization process for my three kids and the USCIS were giving me the run around. First I filed the N400 which was the right process since they were minor when I became a US citizen. They rejected the application for reasons best know to them. I waited for them to be adults and they filed the N600 and USCIS said the kids were not supposed to file N600 and they should go and file the N400. This got me really frustrated, we know they don't refund and we know how expensive these applications are for three kids and a struggling immigrant. It was eating deep into my lean purse. I decided to go online and look for an immigration lawyer that covers my county. I called a few and they wanted me to register before they could do a virtual meeting for to discuss my problems. I wanted to talk to someone and the I found the office of Igunbor with office in Poughkeepsie and Newburgh. I called and he gave me an appointment the following day without a few. I went to see him and told me there was nothing wrong with what I done, but he he would do one or two things differently and my kids case will a forgotten issue. Five months later all my kids are now naturalized citizens via the N600. I kept to his words and he did what he said he was going to do. The fun part of it is that, I am even the one chasing him so I can pay up the balance 😀😀😀. I will recommend him to anyone within the NYS that help with immigration lawyer.

Beware Sharon in collusion with my wife’s attorney miss represented real estate holdings and my rights under the law. My ex is by far the charming of us two. Due to chronic migraines I’m not that sharp but I taped our conversations. I vetted transcripts of her statements with an attorney who agreed to the above but said she pays her dues the bar will do nothing. And so it goes I’m handicapped and can no longer work and my wife got 250k more than the provides.

After having a nice conversation with Kelley on the phone, I agreed to hire her for a moving violation matter. She seem competent and pleasant. She emailed the retainer documents right away. I had a question about something pertaining to the documents, and emailed her back. No response. Tried again. No response. I called. No response.
Finally gave up on this mystifying flake and went with another attorney who worked out great.

I Highly recommend Heather Kitchen. Thankfully I was refer to Heather Kitchen by a family member after I was taking advantage of and screw over by Steven Klein & Associates. The staff at Heather Kitchen law firm was able to correct and coordinate all the damage that was initially done by Steven Klein. I was able to work with Heather Kitchen and her team to put together an actual plan on how to positively pursue the completion of my pending divorce. I was met with empathy and kindness. Heather Kitchen and her staff were professional, hands-on, reactive, supportive, direct and clear. When my case needed added attention and clarity, there were no delay, when I was in need of a stern voice of advocacy they were there for me. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of or as if billing was the priority. Heather Kitchen immediately response to my email and is attentive to my concerns. More importantly she kept me focused and my eyes towards the end goal. In the end I realize this is the most important trait in a divorce attorney. It is hard to assess someone's competence when they rarely, if ever, respond to your calls or emails. My mother died in 2022 and I hired her to deal with the probate court. Initially, everything seemed fine but it is more than halfway through 2024, and I can't get her to respond to calls or emails. As far as I know, all we need to do is file a final tax return and submit the final docs with the probate court, and I was told we don't have to wait until next tax season so I am baffled why we haven't completed this process. Complete lack of empathy. Why prolong our pain? I do not recommend!!!

She is a bad attorney and a worse person! Charged a 10k retainer then used it up on review of the case only to quit, because I was not OK with giving everything I worked for to my ex. If I wanted to do that, I would not have hired a attorney. She is condescending and rude . As you see in her other reviews i was not the only one who she quit on. Stay Away.

Although it has been several years ago, I'm still upset.. Mr Barry was my attorney for my divorce. Of course it was a trying time. Mr Barry lost his temper at a meeting with my ex's attorney and we were asked to leave. After all was said and done, we finally signed the last of the paperwork and were divorced. I thought. Eight months later, Mr. Barry's office calls me and asked me if I still had my original documents. They could not find theirs and they discovered that they had never filed my divorce papers with the court! I went to another attorney who filed the papers that made my divorce final. Not very impressive at all
