I hired Patrick Millsap to be my defense attorney in a DUI case. When I first went to his office I was at one of the lowest points in my life and was unsure of what to do next. There were quite a lot of unclear facts in my case that didn't seem to make sense, however, Mr. Millsap was able to lay out the legal facts in front of me and the court in an order that was very sensible and honest. My wife and I went in to see James to see if we were able to deal with me losing my job because of an injury at work. This was something I had never in my life had to deal with and he helped us with advice and honesty. My wife was in a car accident while driving a rental vehicle. The other driver was at fault and his insurance paid for the damages to the rental vehicle. Nevertheless, the rental company came after us for money we clearly didn't owe them. I found the situation stressful until Mr. Ching got involved. He was professional, organized and constantly on the ball. He actually took the time to meet me hours after the office closed, was available by text or email no matter what time it was, and he addressed all my concerns. On finding out I was not compliant with my FBAR filing requirements, I hired Aaron to help me go through the FBAR filing and better understand which steps were necessary to become compliant based on FACTA-FBAR regulations. As painful as the experience was, Aaron led me calmly through the process, ensuring all the details were collected and putting himself between myself and the IRS on communications and within the expected length of time my case was completed and I regained compliancy and peace of mind. I continue to use Aaron as my accountant and advisor regarding international investment requirements. In comparison to many companies I contacted, his consulting fees are extremely competitive. In my profession, I have spoken to 100's of attornies in the last 30 years. Traditionally I do not like talking to Attorneys or Lawyers. The legal profession seems to be full of Attornies that are full of themselves. This man bridges the gap between confidence, compassion, empathy and sympathy and has the best educated background in the legal profession than anyone that I have ever known. I would reccomend him to my parents and anyone else I love. If you were allowed to have one phone call in your hour of need. This would be the man I would have on speed dial. I consider it very fortunate and in some ways lucky, that I came to know this man, as I know what he has done for the people that I love. I would not hesitate under any condition in any way to make him part of your future, your career, your relationships or your profession. This man is on a first name bases with everyone he deals with and on the top of everyone's Christmas list. Now I know why others feel this exact same way, as I've had the opportunity to witness his knowledge, confidence and attention to the details. He is second to none and sets and entire new standard for what Attornies should be like as he walks the talk and will become your friend, your ally and your legal counsel as you get to know him. I advocate that you make him a priority in any future challenges or legal matters that you will encounter in your life. I've committed this mans number to memory.

I would give Ralph Stephen Copolla 10 stars if I could rate him! Last year, he handled my divorce during a time in my life that I was losing everything at once, as well as being bullied by a mutual "friend", who had manipulated me for the rest of the money that I had left. I look back and I was sucha mess emotionally and financially, as ending a 25 year marriage wasn't my idea, as well as we had several properties and businesses and a daughter to work out. Having Stephen as my Attorney, gave me the ground on my feet that I needed. He took the lead and guided me through that journey with skill and confidence. I am sure everyone feels that their situation is at it''s worse at that point, but Stephen helped me to calm down and work through the decisions, paperwork and legalities to end that chapter of my life with dignity. My wife and I contacted Mr. Hsu by telephone after being sued by the buyer/new owners of our vacation home in Nevada. Since we reside in California, we went on line looking for legal representation and found Maupin/Cox/Legoy attorneys at law. After explaining our situation to the receptionists, we were put in touch with Mr. Hsu. We advised Mr. Hsu we were being sued for "Fraudulent Misrepresentations and Nondisclosures" in connection with the sale of our property in Nevada the previous year. After explaining everything to Mr. Hsu, he requested certain documents from us which we faxed immediately. Mr. Hsu then responded to opposing counsel within 24 hours explaining our rights, our truthfulness when completing the Seller's Real Property Disclosure Form (SRPD) and Nevada law pertaining to our case. After Mr. Hsu's letter to the opposing counsel, we never heard another word from opposing counsel about this matter. All of this was completed through emails, telephone conversations and faxes. Mr. Hsu is very professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. We would definitely recommend Mr. Hsu should you ever need an attorney. Thank you Rick!

Phil was courteous and attentive. He listened patiently, interjecting questions when needed. Correspondence was sent out quickly and documents filed on time. Phil was easy to reach if I had a concern and was also excellent at contacting me when there was something to report.
I went into our first meeting with opposing counsel and my now, ex-partner feeling very anxious. Immediately it became obvious Phil was well-versed in my case. He was able to root out the weakness in opposing counsels positions, surgically dissecting inconsistencies in their arguments, showing they were ill-prepared. By the end of this first meeting I was sitting tall, knowing that I was in good hands.
It was enjoyable working with Phil. I could tell he really enjoys what he does. He treated my case like a chess game, anticipating opposing counsels moves, then figuring out how to overcome two moves ahead.
One thing I really appreciated was his honesty. He let me know potential costs and time involved with my choice of paths to take.
Sometimes in business you can get bitter and want revenge. You argue over principle rather than a fair and just outcome. Phil kept me focused on the intellectual aspect of my case rather than on my emotions that would have cost me $1000's of wasted dollars. He truly is a remarkable attorney.

Last year my Dad passed away and there were problems with his estate. Before Joe, I hired two attorneys to help me. The first one charged me $2,500 for two letters. The second charged me $10,000, never answered any questions,never sent me an invoice, withdrew from the case and left me high and dry.
