I was permenantly disabled during routine knee surgery at a VA hospital. With my sisters help we contacted a local law firm and met Jonathan. I was immediatly impressed with Jonathan's knowledge, drive. and empathy. Through his hard work we were able to obtain a monitary settlement which made my suddenly difficult and tenuous situation more stable. I was truelly blessed many years ago to have acquired Mr. Petty as my attorney. Jonathan defies in my book the general consensus of lawyers today. He takes on a case that I believe he first and for most believes in, and takes full charge in doing the most and best for his client! As a matter of fact, I remember questioning his use of top experts when not so bright people knew better...I will never forget his reply "because I think you deserve only the very best"... and only the best I received! I was always informed, updated, and in charge of what was going on. Its been my experience with lawyers that they take cases and do their own thing! To everyone who is looking for the best lawyer out there, in my opinion, Mr. Jonathan M. Petty is one of the best lawyers that I have worked with. I was previously looking for an expert lawyer to help me with a medical malpractice case when I came across Mr. Petty. When dealing with the case he was always very professional. Mr. Petty always conducted himself, was well spoken, very knowledgeable and knew the law, responsive, respectful and courteous. I never had to worry about not hearing from Mr. Petty about my case. When my mother and I first saw Charles, my father had just become ill and we felt the end was near. They did not have many assets, and I thought that there wasn't much that could be done. I couldn't have been more wrong. We started with the most likely scenario of how the next few years would play out (once again we were wrong); however, Charles worked with us and we composed new wills and moved around assets to optimize most any scenario. During the next 6 1/2 years that my parents survived, he was always caring and professional. Hiring Charles was one of the best decisions I ever made.

I consulted with, and hired, Brian Fayman to help with the details of my mother's estate after her passing. From the first meeting with Brian I knew I would hire him. He listened intently while I explained a complicated executor situation. I never felt rushed during appointments or phone conversations. After I told Brian what I was looking for and that I needed assistance in moving forward, he methodically outlined my options. He provided a sense of calm during an emotionally charged time. He helped me throughout the entire process from start to finish with my mother's estate. I was falsely accused of extremely serious criminal offenses for which I was interrogated, charged, arrested, jailed, tried (jury trial), and eventually acquitted. I was initially charged with 4 felonies that grew to 6 felonies after having been indicted before a grand jury. I was facing the possibility of life in prison for things I didn't do and Mr. Bruns believed in my innocence and fought extremely hard for the truth from day one. From that first phone call I made to him in a completely terrified condition through all the court hearings and procedures all the way up to the day I walked out of that courtroom having been rightfully acquitted, Mr. Bruns brilliantly and passionately represented and defended me. Mr. Bruns also represented me at my expungement hearing which was granted by the judge and subsequently completed. Not only is Mr. Bruns an extremely skilled attorney, I observed through several court appearances and hearings that he is very highly regarded and respected in and out of the courtroom. Mr. Bruns' exceptional skill, along with our faith, got us through the most difficult situation of our lives and I owe my freedom to him. She discovered many errors and provided letters for my signature to correct them . My mortgage was included in my bankruptcy and was not being reported since I filed bankruptcy . Ms. Aman did a fantastic job putting together my will, trusts, advanced medical directive, and powers of attorney. At the onset, she sent a very detailed questionnaire which she used to create and finalize my documents. She did a thorough job, asking questions along the way to ensure accuracy and, most importantly, to make sure that my wishes were accurately represented. She sent out my final documents with plenty of time prior to our scheduled meeting so that I could carefully review them. She even traveled to northern Virginia for the meeting. First and foremost, when I came into the office from the beginning she was willing and ready to help. I had evidence and she was ready to help me with my case right away . Josh was great and very informative. He contacted me multiple times before my case and even after. Jacqueline has decreased her divorces cases but agreed to take mine- thank goodness! I had a previous lawyer blow through a large retainer without even getting the first responses out. I was looking for help to resolve the matter quickly and efficiently- for my financial and emotional well being. It still wasn't cheap but she kept me sane while dealing with a circus on the other side. Kept the important things in life in focus. Mr. Phalen was an excellent attorney for my product defect/product warranty suit. Other attorneys turned my case away due to the difficulties and complexity involved.
