We were referred to this firm by our realtor. We were the victims of a scam artist here in San Antonio claiming to be a custom home builder. From the first phone call, we knew that Austin Navarro was a God send. He called us the Friday before Christmas and listened to and allowed us to vent while we told him our entire story. Austin never rushed us and allowed us to unload all the drama we had been going through with the "builder”. Austin was confident from the beginning that we were going to be ok. He never made promises that he didn't keep. Austin treated our case like we were family, he never gave up and he never stopped fighting for us. He was patient, professional and never acted as though we were a bother. When Austin arrived at our mediation, he came for battle. This builder has scammed a lot of innocent people in this area. He is notorious for trying to play the long game - he attempts to drag everything out until the victim runs out of money. That strategy didn't work with Austin. Austin stayed on him and his lawyer constantly. Austin was truly fighting for us the entire time. When we were stressed and ready to give up, Austin stayed positive and never failed us. Did I mention Austin was our 2nd lawyer, the first guy (another firm) just took our money and did nothing. That guy was basically manhandled by the builder’s lawyer. Austin on the other hand took our case very seriously from the first day. I have recommended Austin to all the other victims of the scam builder. (Hopefully Texas will eventually go after this guy criminally) but in the meantime- I am quite certain he never wants to hear the name Austin Navarro again. I would HIGHLY recommend Austin to anyone that needs a professional, strategic, thorough, caring and INCREDIBLE lawyer in their corner.

I was originally appointed to Mr. Ketner and he ended up being the best if not one of the best lawyers I've had the pleasure to deal with and of course to represent me. I had been dealing with this particular case for over a year before I met Travis, once he took over he kept me well informed of my rights and my options in the case.. Two months later case was closed!!!
I hired Travis for a separate case, 5 months later he got the case dismissed!!!

About a year ago I was in a serious 18 wheeler hit and run. I was scared and had no clue what to do. I had a friend refer me to Serna and Associates to help me try and find the drivers. If you are researching attorneys, stop reading reviews and hire Jean Brown immediately. After being divorced for over seven years I was able to obtain custody of my 14-year-old son thanks to Jean Brown. Changing custody on a child this age is almost unheard of but Jean knew what it would take and how to accomplish it. This wasn’t some slam dunk, smoking gun as you might think either. It was a very difficult case for anyone. For years I watched my children being subtlety manipulated against me by my ex-wife and endured many moments of pain and frustration unable to do anything about it. But when the time came that I had enough I hired Jean and she was amazing. I have had the chance to know many attorneys and utilize them for representation and Jean is hands down one of the best. Ten years ago when my charming Japanese mother was merely 75 and enjoying retirement, I would never imagined the family we are today. I doubt now the worthy of saving too much money your lifetime because doing so may be the dragon that eats you. Since, I’ve learned and witnessed and heard of through my associations with caregivers, this is all too common. Be careful what you wish for.
I cannot have chosen a better attorney for my guardianship case. I also can’t help but think Ryan Moe worked this case because he was sent out from heaven to me and Mom. He was supposed to and for good reason. The man is made from fine cloth and don’t judge him for his seriousness or his disappearing or his directness - he’s working it all out upstairs, metaphysically speaking - he’s got a natural clear intuit so keep things easy on yourself and answer the questions concisely. Ryan is remarkably intelligent and he imagines strategies and it’s fascinating to watch him dance with the pieces and “the bad guys”. Sorry! Had to. He’s my 2022 Super Hero!!!! Thank you Universe! I am so grateful to him and Elizabeth for taking us in!
While I believe justice and fairness are human constructs and we should not hold tight to the ideas of such - Ryan Moe will make you believe they are real if only a little while.

When my father passed away and it was clear that there were going to be disputes with my sibling I started contacting lawyers. The first 3 lawyers I contacted all told me to go to the state and file with Adult Protective Services. I didn't feel this was the way to go. I got on the internet and started researching lawyers with Elder law experience and found Mr. Ryan Moe. I contacted his office and went to see him a few days later. I liked him immediately and knew he was very knowledgeable about Elder law. When I had my first consultation with him about my mom's diminished capacity he set up a doctor's appointment so my mother could be checked by a professional. She was indeed found to have diminished capacity that no one else in the family wanted to admit to. I also advised him that my sibling was taking all kinds of money and wanted to see if he could get it stopped. Throughout the whole process I knew Mr. Moe was the best lawyer for the job. He was laid back but aggressive when needed to be. He put me at ease right away and I knew he had my back at all times. I very much respect and would recommend Mr. Moe to anyone having problems with siblings and disputes. He was easy to talk to and listened and offered advice. If the need arises for more legal help I will definitely call Mr. Moe. Very easy to talk to and puts you at ease. He is a compassionate and caring individual.

Ashley represented me during my divorce in 2015. He was patient in explaining the process and proved an expert in his field with his knowledge of family law. Ashley represented me a second time last year when I had to go to trial against my ex-husband to modify our divorce decree to be able to relocate myself and my daughters back to Kansas City. Jessi Garza is a great attorney. I had the privilege of obtaining her services about a month ago. I was unfortunately arrested for charges that I thought would never go away. When I first met Ms Garza I was able to watch her work and she seemed to know her way around the court room. She was very honest and to the point and very courteous and professional. So when I was able to obtain her as an attorney I knew I had the right person fighting for me with out a doubt. When she would consult with me it was to the point and very honest. She never left you in the dark or guessing. She always made sure you knew what was going on and what her game plan was. It was just very comfortable dealing with her. She kept me at ease in a situation that normally I would be nervous. She definitely lived up to my expectations because she was able on the first day of court to have my charges dropped. I was nervous about choosing an attorney. I haven't ever needed one. I was also surprised at the retainer that most attorneys charge. Xalli Gonzales allowed a payment plan that worked with my income. What I really liked is that she explained how billing works with an attorney who charges an hourly rate. She knew I was tight on money. I was never surprised by a bill because she discussed it with me each step of the way. I was also nervous about showing up to court. Mrs. Gonzales made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Everything was resolved promptly and painlessly.

I had an attorney who did nothing for me but lose my right to see my son. I fired the old and hired Xalli Gonzales. She wasn't the cheapest but she explained exactly what she intended to do and put me on a payment plan that I could live with. We recently had our final hearing and she won back my standard visitations with my son. I don't know what I would have done without her. My other attorney showed up to my final hearing with a motion to withdraw. Xalli was there, took over the case, and we won everything back. On responsiveness I didn't rate her as excellent because it takes her about 24 hours to return a call. But it is actually HER that calls and not an assistant so I guess that is still pretty good.

Having occasion to work with a few different attorneys of various specialties in the past, I must say that I have only been EXTREMELY IMPRESSED by the promise and performance of one attorney, and that is BROOKE A. BAUMAN. I would not hesitate to hire Brooke again, and would refer her to any family member or friend needing her expertise and poise in their time of need. Should I ever have any questions or concerns regarding the law, I know that I can contact Brooke for friendly, timely, competent and professional advisement.
Although I do not personally have a need for a Spanish-speaking attorney, I know that Brooke is fluent in Spanish and I trust that she is equally capable of taking care of my Spanish-speaking family and friends, with the same superior level of competency, expertise and poise that Brooke has shown me since 2006. So, don’t let the name fool you, if you are in need of a bilingual attorney speaking both Spanish and English! Conveniently, her office is located within walking distance from the courthouse.
When I need an attorney I can trust to get the job done, I call Brooke. Even if I have a legal concern that is outside of her areas of specialty, I call Brooke and always receive an excellent referral to an attorney whose specialty meets my specific needs. I got arrested for a DWI and had no idea how to deal with the situation. A co worker of mine recommened Brooke Bauman and was told she is one of the best defense attorneys in san antonio. I went with his advice and hired her. Brooke recommended that i fight the case and saved my drivers license from being revoked. My ordeal started in April of 2013, when I was falsely accused of Indecency with a child. I originally hired another attorney in San Antonio who guided me through the first few months. I was happy with him but I wanted more so I did my research and Ben's name kept coming up. The stakes were high and I was facing certain prison time if I didn't hire the right legal team. Knowing this I made the decision to hire Ben. It was a move that I did not regret! Since the beginning I knew this was another type of attorney. He reviewed the evidence over and over. Ben would assemble an entire staff on a Saturday and we would go over every shred of evidence. Mr. Hacker was honest about the process and informed me of his strategy from the beginning of my case. He answered the phone himself (not the paralegal) or returned my calls and/or responded to my emails in a timely manner. He was able to navigate the process throughout my hearing day that was supposed to end in temporary orders to final orders, which was amazing to witness and was a huge savings in time and money. In addition, he gave me great advice on where we should focus monetarily since my ex was also very behind on child support plus our decree was based on my ex living in California. When I first met Mr. Hacker I was a mess. I was in a very mentally fragile state and had a hard time focusing. I was in a Divorce that had really taken a toll on me and I was ready to just walk away from it all. Judge Negron acted as my attorney for a child custody case regarding my son. I strongly desired an attorney that would understand what was happening with my son and myself. We met for about 3 hours so that she could get every last detail of my case and explain to me exactly what they could do for me.
